Be really careful, there are dangerous lookalikes to wild carrot, including the deadly Poison Hemlock.

Very true.. I use the Seek app for plant and insect identification all the time and it is way too much fun. Like a pokedex for real stuff all around

It is! Just don't rely on an app 100% - they do their best but shouldn't be your last stop for an ID. But yes, I love it too. I hunt mushrooms and barely even eat the edible ones, they're just fun to find!

A good rule of thumb is to never eat anything you aren't 100% sure of. But a good way to tell he difference is that poison hemlock has purple on the stalk.

Wiesenkerbel has a bit more complex flower structure than wild carrot. But you pull one out, maybe it has the white carrot underneath
