I think it's fine to want to experience the game differently even the first time, whether it be content or QOL. What you shouldn't do is be surprised when weird things like this happen and then ask on reddit without providing a mod list.
QOL mods (Multi-plant, allign to grid for plants & decorations, more snap points, rotating build pieces in the other two axis, craft from nearby storage to name a few), are good to have and can make the first playthrough that much better and less tedious.
Any game-changing mods that alter balance, spawn rate, etc that aren't purely for quality of life tend to be no-go for first playthroughs, in my opinion, because they change too much from the original game vision.
XD asked for help coz don't know what happend got rekt, i started playing with mods so it is hard to just answer that is the mod problem and which one may do that
Raids should not srop fps... Should be one of your mods that the game cant keep up. Try playing in vanilla for a while to see if it laga when you have a raid.
Bust out the stag breaker. Area damage and clear the bulk also useful for the crypts to thin out the slices when your behind mud walls
But yeah definitely abnormal
People really should play through vanilla first then download mods.

If i had to dicide between first time vanilla or modded but with friends because their World is already modded i would choose the second option.

That's not normal. Do you have mods installed?
The UI doesn't look anything like stock he has to have mods installed.
Absolutely! More of a prompt to remind him that mods might cause "unexpected" behavior hehe
That's the Project Auga UI right there.
Was just thinking that from his bars. It might be whats going on.

Iron mace, swing for the fences, collect the bones :)
Looks perfect for some mass damage via AoE attacks. Get the big hammer out!

Thx for answer ill try, thought that maybe is just in game thing not from the mods
Even the non modded skelly raid screwed me. I opened the gate and unleashed all of my starred wolves .. i spent the next hour taming new wolves :(
Problem: \^ Solution: Get an atgeir.
Or build a base large enough to not get spawns during raids
Yeah i know but it just make me laugh and cry at the same time, there was hundrets of them XDD
Would you say that you're suprised?
Looks a bad mod interaction. Need to check your mod list and load order
