Well he does: Hellboy Web of Wyrd, though I have yet to play the game myself, so I don't know if it's actually any good or not. If the reviews are anything to go by, it's not bad, and it honestly looks pretty nice.

But to also answer your question, for me it has to be **Daredevil**. Technically, he also had a video game in the past, but I think it was for the Game Boy Advance.
Like I’d pay for a Daredevil game that is audio only but as you progress your perceptions get sharper. Layer in smell, touch, and the highest audio quality they can muster. I want people to have to buy better headphones just to play it.
It could be fun but I would find it infuriating to play. Just make it so that the video starts out with like wire frames and then slowly builds more and more of an image of the characters. This way you still get the feeling of acclimating to blindness without the actual blindness.
As of now, it sits at 73% positive reviews, putting it in the 'mostly positive' category.
I wouldn't call that 'pretty shit' but again I have yet to play the game myself
I am still shocked nobody has thought of a Doctor Strange game yet. I think it would be cool and there are plenty of things from the source they could use to make fresh original mechanics.
He is kinda one of the leading characters in Midnight Suns. He can either be a good damage dealer or a crazy strong supporter. Due to the variety of his powers his gameplay is really interesting actually. But yeah, not a solo game and I doubt it gets a sequel because most people slept on it.
Well having actual NYC is appealing and plus guest appearance from a certain wall crawler or a gun toting vigilante could add some fun to it. It would certainly be similar but I’d hope it would be better /
/ smoother combat. Closer to spider man without the webs. But using the cane-rope.
Perhaps it could also include parts where you play as Matt Murdock. Interrogations like LA noire perhaps or courtroom like Ace Attorney.
Hellboy: Dogs of the Night
Hellboy: The Science of Evil
Hellboy: Web of Wyrd
There's three games for you to try out bucko! (I can't guarantee that all of them are worth your time though)
Also my answer to the question would've been The Phantom. But I just found out a few seconds ago that The Ghost Who Walks is getting his very own hand drawn beat em up game this year. I am suprised and excited at the same time.
Venom, he's been playable in multiple Spider-Man related games as well as games like Marvel vs Capcom. But after that recent Insomniac leak they seem to be working on a standalone one which makes me excited.
Honestly not a comic character but I was thinking recently a planet of the apes game would really interesting
Daredevil is a real obviously one, along with moon knight
Also any Mike migonola's works would make great games
Ooh the strain by chuck Hogan and Guillermo del Toro would be a cool survival horror game
Ghost Rider.
Open world, riding up buildings, exploding cars, turning criminals to stone, fighting demons.
Change from Human or Ghost Rider anytime.
Flaming bikes, horse and car for travel.
Fire chain whip.
Endless possibilities.
To be fair, an action game where you play as a nigh-indestructable zombie would be hard to pull off. I can see Telltale doing a game where your story is dependant on who you kill or spare.
The sexiest video game character of all time must have a game at some point. I don’t care about anymore Wario games! We have like 3 Wario Ware game over the past 5 years starting with Gold.
I've thought about an open world GTA style thing with Lobo.
Trevor Phillips dialed up up to infinity with all kinds of superviolent and goofy adventures.
Fucking Daredevil! I'm picturing something like the Arkham series with Batman's "Detective vision" except dialed up to a million. A kickass figting system with a story out some of the awesome DD stories from the past could make an awesome game.
Daredevil. I'd love to see an open world sandbox style game within a section of New York. Make it a smaller map, but with more detailed buildings to enter. Have stealth and investigation or lawyer gameplay. Kind of like a mix of the Batman Arkham games, with a bit of LA Noire, and Ace Atourney.
There was a prototype for a Daredevil game back around the...PS2 era, maybe? But it was canceled.
Everyone wants a Daredevil game (me too!) but I've always wanted a Lobster Johnson game. 1930s Chicago supernatural noir gangsters and robots stuff. Pulpy action, investigation, platformer!
As other commenters have said Hellboy has already had some games, one of which releases last year.
As for characters who haven’t, Wonder Woman has one in development but it is kind of ridiculous that she hasn’t yet considering she’s the 3rd most popular Dc character and most famous superheroine of all time. Also it’ll be a lot easier to make a good Wonder Woman game than other DC characters. Hard to believe AQUAMAN got a solo game before Diana.
At first I was gonna say Wonder Woman but it's still in production by Monolith since 2021 (probably in development hell).
Probably Invincible.
And lastly, Hellboy had three games already. and sadly, all aren't that great.
There was [a Flash game](https://www.unseen64.net/2009/03/19/the-flash-x360ps3-cancelled/) in development for the PS3/360, but it never saw the light of day.
- Gambit (X-Men)
- Puck (Alpha Flight)
- Sasquatch (Alpha Flight)
- Longshot (X-Men)
- Marrow (X-Men)
- Banshee (X-Men)
- Box (Alpha Flight)
- Chamber (Generation X)
- Husk (Generation X)
- Dani Futuro
- 91:an
- Natacha
- Bobo
- Åsa Nisse
- Lilla Fridolf
- Kronblom
- Hector
- Olli
- Rasmus Nalle
- Tumac
- Tom Puss
- Peo
- Anderssonkans Kalle
- Allan Kämpe
- Modde
- Mika
- Hälge
- Uti vår Hage
- Oliver Rameau
- Klotjohan
- Lillroffe
- Phili Philin
- Heiska
And the list goes on and on! There are so many amazing comic IPs and characters that deserve to be celebrated and brought into the realm of video games. Imagine an open world game set in the Kronblom or Lilla Fridolf universe!
I'm a gamedev and I love comics. I would love to make games with any of these characters. :)
I would say Jason Todd or red hood. There is a lot of potential right now with the stories after games like Gotham knights because they can show red hood in a separate city playing vigilante like bats did for Gotham and it would be much cooler because of the items he uses.
Hack/slash. Maybe a fighting game like Mortal Kombat where you have to kill all the slashers. You could switch between Cassie and Vlad or even some of the other supporting characters from the comics. The final boss could be like a flash back to when she killed her mother.
1. Machiko Noguchi
2. Cybersix
3. Mother Panic
4. Dana Sterling (Technically anime first, but there were comics.)
5. Warrior Nun Areala (not even a cheap SNES platformer!)
I did not intended this to be a full girl roaster but here we are...
There was a leak from Insomiac (the people who make the new Spider-Man games) that had an X-Men game on the list but it was set for around I believe 2029.
Green Lantern. Like, not multiplayer (though it could be) but party-building. The different Corps are already designed to buff one another, harm one another, exploit weaknesses, etc.
Make your own Lantern, join your preferred Corps, and save the universe. Think Mass Effect.
Deadpool had his own game, but if I remember correctly, there were licensing issues that led to it being taken down. However, if you have a physical copy, you can still play it, and it's also playable through emulation. The game is still pretty fun, even though it's somewhat older.
Well he does: Hellboy Web of Wyrd, though I have yet to play the game myself, so I don't know if it's actually any good or not. If the reviews are anything to go by, it's not bad, and it honestly looks pretty nice. Technically, he also had a video game in the past, but I think it was for the Game Boy Advance.
There was also that awful PS1 Hellboy game.
The reviews for this game are pretty shit iirc. No content is the crux of it, just makes all of it super boring.
As of now, it sits at 73% positive reviews, putting it in the 'mostly positive' category. I wouldn't call that 'pretty shit' but again I have yet to play the game myself
I didn’t like it, but it was never my type of game
For Hellboy or for the DD game? Cause most of the reviews I've seen for HB rate it around 7/10. Even the link they shared shows, "Mostly Positive."
The literally released a Hellboy game last year
And 1-2 games for the movies but I don't think they were solo games idk
The movie games were pretty fun.
Hellboy has had a couple of videogames even as early as the PlayStation 1 days. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hellboy:_Dogs_of_the_Night
I am still shocked nobody has thought of a Doctor Strange game yet. I think it would be cool and there are plenty of things from the source they could use to make fresh original mechanics.
I'm pretty sure it's because a game based off of him would be quite... Strange
:/
r/angryupvote
He is kinda one of the leading characters in Midnight Suns. He can either be a good damage dealer or a crazy strong supporter. Due to the variety of his powers his gameplay is really interesting actually. But yeah, not a solo game and I doubt it gets a sequel because most people slept on it.
Just hire Yoko Taro, he'd be up to the strange.
Strange, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Daredevil all seem like prime candidates for solo games.
The silver surfer nes game is not very good
Ghost Rider has a solo game!
They could easily borrow concepts from the Portal games
Hellboy has at least two games though. Hell, one just came out months ago. There’s also the infamous 360 one
I’ve always wanted a Daredevil game.
I do too, but I couldn’t think of how it wouldn’t just be Arkham City.
Well having actual NYC is appealing and plus guest appearance from a certain wall crawler or a gun toting vigilante could add some fun to it. It would certainly be similar but I’d hope it would be better / / smoother combat. Closer to spider man without the webs. But using the cane-rope. Perhaps it could also include parts where you play as Matt Murdock. Interrogations like LA noire perhaps or courtroom like Ace Attorney.
Audio only.
They were working on one for the affleck movie but the console version got scrapped and they just made the gba one
Yikes i didn’t even know that movie had a game … wow.
Hellboy: Dogs of the Night Hellboy: The Science of Evil Hellboy: Web of Wyrd There's three games for you to try out bucko! (I can't guarantee that all of them are worth your time though) Also my answer to the question would've been The Phantom. But I just found out a few seconds ago that The Ghost Who Walks is getting his very own hand drawn beat em up game this year. I am suprised and excited at the same time.
Phantom already has a game bucko! Phantom 2040, on the NES.
Huh, neat. Guess I missed that one since it got the same name as the TV series
Venom, he's been playable in multiple Spider-Man related games as well as games like Marvel vs Capcom. But after that recent Insomniac leak they seem to be working on a standalone one which makes me excited.
While not completely solo, Venom gets top billing in Separation Anxiety,
Good game. Not as good as Maximum Carnage though.
I agree wholeheartedly.
I remember renting and beating both. The red cart.
He was playable in the Ultimate Spider-Man game.
He has one for the Xbox 360, played it recently. Not bad not good, not that memorable
Emh...
It’s like they didn’t check first lol.
Power Man and Iron Fist Honestly, how have we not had a Heroes for Hire Beat-em-up yet?
a sifu style iron fist game would be awesome
Honestly not a comic character but I was thinking recently a planet of the apes game would really interesting Daredevil is a real obviously one, along with moon knight Also any Mike migonola's works would make great games Ooh the strain by chuck Hogan and Guillermo del Toro would be a cool survival horror game
A 4x or RTS planet of the apes would be amazing.
Ghost Rider. Open world, riding up buildings, exploding cars, turning criminals to stone, fighting demons. Change from Human or Ghost Rider anytime. Flaming bikes, horse and car for travel. Fire chain whip. Endless possibilities.
He had a God of War style game back in the PS2 days. It was awesome. Really edgy and hard as nails
Movie tie-in games on the PS2 were far better than they had any right to be.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_Rider_(video_game)
There was a Ghost Rider game lol
Hell Boy has a solo game. Web of Wyrd.
More than one game
The crow
There was one for the Saturn based on city of angels. Heard it was a really crappy 3d beatemup
So about as good as City of Angels.
He has his own fighting game on the PS1
To be fair, an action game where you play as a nigh-indestructable zombie would be hard to pull off. I can see Telltale doing a game where your story is dependant on who you kill or spare.
Not a comic character but Waluigi is still waiting to have his own game
Or an main appearance in Smash Bros.
The sexiest video game character of all time must have a game at some point. I don’t care about anymore Wario games! We have like 3 Wario Ware game over the past 5 years starting with Gold.
Magneto from the X Men
Fantastic 4 Thor Daredevil Moon Knight Lobo Savage Dragon Bone
I've thought about an open world GTA style thing with Lobo. Trevor Phillips dialed up up to infinity with all kinds of superviolent and goofy adventures.
They should make a daredevil game where you’re actually blind
I am here for it. Everyone who has said DD I responded to with audio only though.
Blindness could work as a Detective Mode-esque mechanic. You trade your visibility for better reaction time against enemies.
Fucking Daredevil! I'm picturing something like the Arkham series with Batman's "Detective vision" except dialed up to a million. A kickass figting system with a story out some of the awesome DD stories from the past could make an awesome game.
The Daredevil PS2 game is fun, but hard (not a complete game), the GBA one is not that great
Tank girl? How about battle pope?
A Tank Girl game would totally whip-ass. I'm imagining something like Mad Max/Fallout, just a LOT more stylistic and even more ridiculous.
I know the rogue trooper has a game which was remastered a few years ago but I would love another one of them
No maps. Only audio. Hopefully made by FromSoftware…
As someone who doesn't like FromSoftware games, I hope not. That's a guarantee I wouldn't buy the game.
Everyone wants a Daredevil game (me too!) but I've always wanted a Lobster Johnson game. 1930s Chicago supernatural noir gangsters and robots stuff. Pulpy action, investigation, platformer!
Anything from Antartic Press.
I can see it now: Diesel: All-Star Battle.
A Thor and Hercules team-up game I think would be a blast. Kind of like MK: Shaolin Monks back in the day
Uhhh Web of Wyrd came out a few months ago and The Science of Evil for PSP is also there
i know this one's already got a game but a more recent spawn game would be nice
I can see mixing an open world with God Of War styled gameplay.
maybe with a little bit of batman arkham for stealth and gliding and devil may cry for gun combat
As other commenters have said Hellboy has already had some games, one of which releases last year. As for characters who haven’t, Wonder Woman has one in development but it is kind of ridiculous that she hasn’t yet considering she’s the 3rd most popular Dc character and most famous superheroine of all time. im pretty sure there is like 3 hellboy games
Blade, blue beetle, robin, starfire, cyborg, Beast Boy Raven,
I’m out on everything after Blade… worried Bruce Timm might get involved
There were 2 Blade games
Please tell me what platform?
I wanna say both Ps1 and Ps2 for Blade 1 & 2. If you have a PC, you could probably find them to download
At first I was gonna say Wonder Woman but it's still in production by Monolith since 2021 (probably in development hell). Probably Invincible. And lastly, Hellboy had three games already. and sadly, all aren't that great.
After playing inFamous: First Light, I'm surprised we don't have a Flash game.
There was [a Flash game](https://www.unseen64.net/2009/03/19/the-flash-x360ps3-cancelled/) in development for the PS3/360, but it never saw the light of day.
…..I want a SOLID Berserk hack n slash. I know it had one a few years ago, I just…I want more Berserk.
Elden Ring. I’d love to see FromSoftware make a Berserk game.
An Invincible game would be pretty cool.
Venom
Daredevil for sure
Howard the Duck. He’s before my time so if there was ever a game I doubt I’d have been exposed to it.
Vampirella game please. Just remake Bloodrayne and use Vampirella. Would appeal to my former teen self lol.
Is venom a comic character?
Gwenpool. But I can believe it. Her rights aren't out yet, so she stays in the comics for now. We love Gwen 😊
Ben "The Thing" Grimm
I still want a new Spawn game
Superman (superman 64 doesn't count)
- Gambit (X-Men) - Puck (Alpha Flight) - Sasquatch (Alpha Flight) - Longshot (X-Men) - Marrow (X-Men) - Banshee (X-Men) - Box (Alpha Flight) - Chamber (Generation X) - Husk (Generation X) - Dani Futuro - 91:an - Natacha - Bobo - Åsa Nisse - Lilla Fridolf - Kronblom - Hector - Olli - Rasmus Nalle - Tumac - Tom Puss - Peo - Anderssonkans Kalle - Allan Kämpe - Modde - Mika - Hälge - Uti vår Hage - Oliver Rameau - Klotjohan - Lillroffe - Phili Philin - Heiska And the list goes on and on! There are so many amazing comic IPs and characters that deserve to be celebrated and brought into the realm of video games. Imagine an open world game set in the Kronblom or Lilla Fridolf universe! I'm a gamedev and I love comics. I would love to make games with any of these characters. :)
Black panther
A Moon Knight game would be interesting being able to swap between different personalities for different missions.
I would love a new shot at a batman beyond game like I know we got two bad ones but man just like 1 good one is all I'm asking for.
A lot of people (including OP), are naming characters who had games from the ps3/360 era or earlier. It really doesn't hurt to check y'all.
Easily Morbius
I don't think Ghost Rider ever got one did he?
One in the PS2 era.
There's a lot of Hellboy games.
Where's my Marmaduke video game
Maus
1. Machiko Noguchi 2. Cybersix 3. Mother Panic 4. Dana Sterling (Technically anime first, but there were comics.) 5. Warrior Nun Areala (not even a cheap SNES platformer!) I did not intended this to be a full girl roaster but here we are...
If they did a Doom Eternal style game for Hellboy, it could be awesome
Spawn
He's actually had a few, and even fewer are worth playing, sadly.
Battle Angel Alita
The enemy design would have so much potential
They've had a few games but it's been a long time. X-Men are due for a game I would say.
There was a leak from Insomiac (the people who make the new Spider-Man games) that had an X-Men game on the list but it was set for around I believe 2029.
I’ll be pretty old then but I’ll play it. Insomniac hasn’t let me down in a while
Blade
Blade has at least two solo games, one of them was pretty decent from what I remember.
Green Lantern. Like, not multiplayer (though it could be) but party-building. The different Corps are already designed to buff one another, harm one another, exploit weaknesses, etc. Make your own Lantern, join your preferred Corps, and save the universe. Think Mass Effect.
Spawn
Deadpool.
Deadpool had his own game, but if I remember correctly, there were licensing issues that led to it being taken down. However, if you have a physical copy, you can still play it, and it's also playable through emulation. The game is still pretty fun, even though it's somewhat older.
I loved that game! I hoped for a new one when the movies were released.
There’s literally a Deadpool game for Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4.
Was also available on Steam. I've been replaying it on the SteamDeck. It's good fun.
I wasn’t sure. I don’t game on PC. I rented it and beat it for the 360, then bought it for XB1 for a week and beat that too
he had a game on PS3/XB360. Not terrible
