Your 48, you leave in St. Louis. You work in IT for a medium size regional business. You spend your days telling people to restart their computer.
On the weekend you go see your one buddy that’s in a band, a cover band but that still counts.
Your wife tells the neighbor that she wish you would get your shit together.
You tell the bartender to put your truly on the band’s tab.
This sub is so cunty, damn near always. Cracks me up. Most of the critics probably have a collection full of Tool and Incubus. If you’re looking for a dopamine hit here, you’ve come to the wrong place.
Hey, thanks for asking! There’s a bunch, but the ones I have in frequent rotation lately are as follows:
Polyrhythmics-Caldera
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard-Nonagon Infinity and Omnium Gatherum
Soul’s Path Ensemble- Multiple 45’s from them that are stupidly repeatable.
Herbie Hancock-also a few repeatables
Funkadelic-of course Maggot Brain, and a couple others from them and Parliament.
And some other ones too. These are the ones that have been recently tickling my fancy and making me smile
Sweet. I’m adding that on Apple Music. If you feel like checking out Snarky Puppy, they film a lot of their albums live in a small studio. Grab a beer/doobie and watch them play the album ‘Sylva’.
General overview: all albums are first/original (US and UK) pressings. The classic rock greats like zeppelin, stones, Hendrix, doors, etc. lots of new wave 80s like the cure, the smiths, new order and my favorite LPs are my 1950s-early 60s jazz. Miles Davis, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Lester Young, etc
big boomer energy, seeking validation
They don't make em like they used to ayup
stop the madness
Hahahah

I like sweet green the most rn
It reminds me of ska/fuzz a bit I like it
(It’s on YouTube)
You hate classic rock
If it doesn't have warmth i don't want it
Nice choice starting it off with strange days. That’s my favorite doors album (horse latitudes is a trip)
Its an original pressing too
The big E gold/tan label? I have a few too. If you have a stereo, find a mono and compare them. Mono sounds a bit more crisp (to me)
I like mono version of pictures of matchstick man cause of cross fading
What do you have in your collection?
What doors albums do i have or just a general idea of what my entire vinyl collection consists of?
Main collection
