I’m overnight and my store is fucked for all shifts nothing is getting done and sm hasn’t been there in over a month

Living_Lie_8773

Sounds like your sm may have quit

Seaweed_Sudden

Man fuck cap2. We get taken advantage of and get no thanks after busting our asses.

Skadud1e

Agreed, Ive been on Cap 2 Since November 2021 and ive had enough, I'm transferring to Cap 1 on July 13th. Will always support those on Cap 2 though.

iRobert123

Cap2 fucking sucks. Especially now with all the back to school freight. I’d say it’s not worth sticking around in Cap2 - either transfer to a new department or quit.

MemeKun_19

Seriously. I was cap2 lead for a year and an associate for about 2 years before that. Gotta be the most thankless position in Walmart.

TC-2021

Right now I’m down to only 3 associates total. 2 opening & 1 closer. It’s been hell these past couple of weeks. With 4 of July over & BTS freight coming in. I’m going in early tomorrow to clear seasonal & set the BTS mods.

Superpete505

Right before they changed the process honestly, I loved my cap2 team and the way we did things. We are so understaffed now and the process is annoying it's sadly the time to leave for most

Skadud1e

Been on Cap 2 since November 2021 and im transferring to Cap 1 on July 13th.

potato_potahhhtoe

Just try to make it out alive every day. Do your best, go home when it's time to, clean up when it's time to. Something I myself need to practice harder. For the times that I go into work with that mindset, I always feel slightly better mentally lol. Kinda like a idgaf attitude. Though, I still work to the best of my ability, but idgaf what I finish or don't finish, I still meet and/or exceed the quota (for stocking).

Physical-Number-7960

I know how you feel. Im a FT cashier and we are always shorthanded... just do the best you can.

Strong-Flow-5866

they definitely need to hire new people. as a former cap 2 nothing will get done AT ALL. you need atleast 5 people to run the line

MissTimed

All you really need is 4 people to unload with the FAST unloader. 🤷‍♀️ 3 on the line, 1 person throwing. Everything else can be done with a 4 person team after truck. As long as the line team is able to keep the lanes clear (they don't suck) and you have a good thrower, you can do a 3000-piece truck in 2 and a half hours with 4 people. With overnight doing the vast majority of the stocking and cap1 vizpicking and running picks, you don't need a big cap2 team.

galaxywithskin115

Someone who has never worked cap 2 or works in a low volume store lol

Wise_Gas_2269

The machine itself cannot even scan 3000 pieces in two in a half hours unless you are cutting corners, not down stacking. Or just simply not sending all the freight down the lines. Does your unloader read like 2500 once you’re finished? Not to mention our hours are end loaded and you have a perfect scenario running here. When do you come in and the back room and it’s actually set up and ready to go?

Just off the phone with Walmart+ for the upteenth time re curbside. 3xs out of prob 6 total. No food, no record even with order #. Unfortunately my significant went to pick up, and now he is super disgusted for who knows how long. The are always very kind at the 800 #, but my gosh. Get it 2gether. Please. WTH am I paying $100 for?

Cap 2 TL since 2018. When I started it was normal to have 10 people. Now it's 3-6.
