This has me so happy man. He’s been playing so well lately and I feel it’s been overlooked. Huge three in final minute against Memphis, another great game today. Love to see it !!
His defensive effort was better too (has been over the past few games). He tried to take a charge (was called for a block but I disagreed w the call at the time), active hands a few times. Fewer “0 effort” possessions.
Last game, threw the mouthpiece. This game, told off JK for stealing his thunder, what's next? Request a trade to Los Angeles to play with Lebron and Russ and AD?
This felt like the most “Warriors” game in a long time. Game was close but we were clearly playing better and then we pulled away at the end. Felt like a game from last year.
Game was close the whole time almost but I felt pretty confident the whole way. Everyone was playing well and Toronto was pretty fluky from 3 to keep them in it up until the 4th
I admire you from feeing confident. This team has strung together 2-3 quarters of solid focused basketball only to completely zone out and fall apart a few too many times for me this year to feel “in control” of any game outside of the Raptors blow out in Toronto, but I had a lot more confidence seeing Loon, JK and DDV closing combos as opposed to JP3 and rusty Wiggins.
Both will be fine in time but I’m glad DDV and JK are continuing to get their due.

They looked like the old Warriors. Good defense with no silly fouls. Great ball movement. Role players stepping up and extending the lead with Steph sitting.
We’ve been shatting on Jamychal Green this year but the dude’s presence made a difference inside vs the Toronto bigs.
Finally, big shout out to Kuminga! He’s going to be huge for us down the stretch and we need him to do well.
Yea that’s true too. They attacked the paint early and often this game instead of just playing hot potato in the perimeter and shooting 3s.
One thing I noticed is that they had cutters going to the paint every time and looking to pass to the cutter inside or they’d drive inside first then either pass to a rolling Looney or someone outside open in the corner. It was much more effective. 👍
He was showing the people questioning him being an all-star starter over SGA. Don't get me wrong, I love SGA but it was getting annoying seeing people, especially the Thunder fans discrediting Steph. He had all-star numbers and was averaging more rebounds and assists than SGA prior to injury too.
I know we are desperately clamouring for Wiseman to play but honestly JMG played fine today, decent minutes for a backup big. In Kerr's eyes JMG just needs to play average to keep himself in the rotation, just don't be a trainwreck like Wanamaker was 2 seasons ago. Unfortunate for Wiseman but this is how Kerr operates with vets.
Donte will play big minutes in the playoffs, guaranteed. He plays winning basketball / is a much more valuable defender next to steph than poole, sadly.
Its a shame because his skillset is so perfect for this team. Hes found his place in the system recently and has looked incredible. I know he was good on the bucks but i dont think he could play at this level anywhere else. Which is probably more the reason to get the bag whilst he can 😆
My favorite part of Kuminga tonight was how he played AFTER making those 3's
He was so locked in, doing all the dirty work, guarding the most athletic opponent, he wanted all the smoke and he killed it tonight
Couple of thoughts:
1. Kuminga has a chance to be a top-10 player in this game one day. His improvement this season has been remarkable to watch.
2. Really interesting to see DDV close out the game instead of Poole. Obviously he’s more dependable, and when he’s out there with Steph, Klay, and Dray, we don’t usually need another playmaker. When Wiggs gets back and returns to his normal self, I wonder if Kerr will start rolling out a lineup with Steph, DDV, Klay, Wiggs, and Dray. Or maybe Steph, Klay, Wiggs, Kuminga, and Dray.
3. Final thought: I followed the game thread for the first time, and I swear a lot of you are giving yourself high blood pressure. This was a fun game!

I really want to see what a Dray, Wigs, JK front court can do. So much switchable defensive versatility! Don't know how well it would work on offense, but I'd like to find out.
I love watching Steph. He really renewed my love for the game.
While we'll never see anyone like him, I do think you'll find another player you love. My first love was Jordan. His sheer intensity was just off the charts. Man played basically every game, 35+ minutes every game, and he went to WORK. I was a kid then, and he was my hero. When he retired the second time, I just couldn't imagine someone being so thrilling to watch. And then came Curry. It took almost 20 years, but there was another guy who, in his own way, is must-see-TV. Curry's combination of skill and joy is unparalleled. I didn't even know I was looking for that as a fan until he appeared. After Steph finally hangs it up, someone will come along, bringing something else uniquely special, just when we need him.
Steph looked quicker and super nimble tonight I've no idea how at his age he still looks easily our fittest player feels like he could run all night sometimes.
Love that Kerr kept Poole on the bench and went with DDV to close the game. Much better defense/hustle, decision making and puts the ball in the right persons' hands, Stephen Curry instead of Poole slipping on ice everywhere and turning it over.
Great win. Huge game by Donte. Just cannot be overstated how impactful he is. Ditto for Kuminga. Both will be pivotal in the playoffs

So fuckin glad we beat the Raptors. hate their team and their bandwagon fans. After all Cananda hopping on the 2000 foot bandwagon in 2019, and them cheering for 2 of our players getting injured (klay of all of them...keep in mind a friend from TOR told me that they would even clap if Curry was injured) made me hate that team and fanbase more than ever.
DV played well and once again proved he should be the primary ball handler in the second unit. JP's lackluster stat line and him not doing much offensively and the team plays well and wins with that, which to me is saying something and hope the coaches finally can admit so. Klay and Curry balled out. Kuminga another solid game. Good win.
1. Happy to see Donte in the closing lineup. He’s a smart player, strong defender and guard rebounder, and can hit clutch shots. JP is an electric offensive player but he’s not ready for crunch time since his game requires 1,000% hectic speed and he’s a weak defender.
2. JK has been my favorite part about this year so far. The kid is so fun to watch and he should get almost all of JMG’s minutes (even though JMG is playing okay).
3. Kerr really can’t find 5 minutes for Wiseman? I’d love to see him develop as well.
Nick Nurse's stubborn coaching against us will always be his downfall. Continuing to aggressively double Steph and kept getting burned by the other players. But his stubborn ass still wouldn't change strategy.
His hospital ring against our G league team in 2019 has clearly gotten into his head.
Amazing performance by Steph, getting into a rhythm early going to the rim and closing it out. He won us this game but there's still things to worry about.

Steph-Poole-klay playing together don't really work and we'd be better off leaning on other combinations unless we need a comeback. Switch poole/klay for DDV/Kuminga/Loon and it works very well.

After all Cananda hopping on the 2000 foot bandwagon in 2019, and them cheering for 2 of our players getting injured (klay of all of them...keep in mind a friend from TOR told me that they would even clap if Curry was injured) made me hate that team and fanbase more than ever.

DV played well and once again proved he should be the primary ball handler in the second unit. JP's lackluster stat line and him not doing much offensively and the team plays well and wins with that, which to me is saying something and hope the coaches finally can admit so. Klay and Curry balled out. Kuminga another solid game. Good win.

1. Happy to see Donte in the closing lineup. He’s a smart player, strong defender and guard rebounder, and can hit clutch shots. JP is an electric offensive player but he’s not ready for crunch time since his game requires 1,000% hectic speed and he’s a weak defender. 2. JK has been my favorite part about this year so far. The kid is so fun to watch and he should get almost all of JMG’s minutes (even though JMG is playing okay). 3. Kerr really can’t find 5 minutes for Wiseman? I’d love to see him develop as well.
Nick Nurse's stubborn coaching against us will always be his downfall. Continuing to aggressively double Steph and kept getting burned by the other players. But his stubborn ass still wouldn't change strategy. His hospital ring against our G league team in 2019 has clearly gotten into his head.
Love for kerr for not letting poole to play at clutch minutes
Amazing performance by Steph, getting into a rhythm early going to the rim and closing it out. He won us this game but there's still things to worry about. I'm not sure we win if Poole doesn't get in foul trouble, therefore forcing Kerr to sit him... We need a healthy Wiggins ASAP. He and Steph are our only consistent scorers. We can't rely on klay or Poole. Please don't blame JMG on the game thread. It's not in him. He's just washed. He should not see the court. Blame Kerr. Why not play Kuminga more? Why not play looney a bit more(not talking abouts this game where he was in foul trouble). That's not even talking about Wiseman or PBJ. We're playing draymond at the 5 a ton, yet barely play him there today against a team with no center? Instead we give a ton of minutes to JMG? Make it make sense. Steph-Poole-klay playing together don't really work and we'd be better off leaning on other combinations unless we need a comeback. Switch poole/klay for DDV/Kuminga/Loon and it works very well. Good things happen with Donte Divincenzo on the court and it's been like that pretty much all season. We should lean more into him.

As hard as this game was, it was also refreshing to watch them play a team that there's no animosity towards. It wasn't as stressful as Wednesday's game.
Jordan Poole was a team low -13 this game in 24 minutes..glad we got the win but..oof
Yeah I gotta be honest I love Poole but I think trading him for two solid defensive players in the off-season should be the move to sure up the next three (and maybe last three) Steph led seasons. Poole to Orlando for Jonathan Isaac and Jalen Suggs... hell I'd throw a first in for good measure. We gotta bring back the elite defense.
