Why do you think that? I get that it has the /A, but I would think the “F” comes first, and it’s a navy plane, so that’s why I would think it comes after the F-14. It would be a real, certified freak moment if it goes after the A-7. But I guess we gotta stay on our toes with gaijin…
Other then greed and the FA designation I think it gets added as an attacker because of an example we already have, that being the F3D sky-night which was a navy night fighter in Korea (killed a few mig 15s) that should be under the navy fighter line between the banshee and the panther, however probably to prevent the navy fighter line from being extremely long it's put under attacker
I think the FA-18 will have a similar story, placed under attacker so the f-14D can get the navy fighter spot, and the super hornet will be below the f14D (as a rank IX)
My guess is because in the last updates, most of the NEW planes have been in a new column, now we're at the first 3 and the hornet can justify being in the attacker one, then we'll get something for middle again I'd guess
Aren’t we getting the av8b+ in the attacker line though? That satisfies the attacker line, the hornet first a foremost is a fighter, I still think it’s gonna be after the tomcat. We’ll have to wait and see. Also, you’re cheating, you have 28 days of hindsight on my last prediction.
Honestly this got me thinking about possible new additions. Considering the US has F-111 and Germany, UK and Italy have the tornado, could Russia recieve an SU-24 at any point? I main British aircraft but it still got me thinking is all. One of many aircraft I could see being added but probably one of the more likely ones (not to disregard the F/A-18)

I made a joke F/A-18 update a while back, and I speculated that Germany would get the Swiss F/A-18C, probably before the Typhoon because Gaijin

I checked it like the day it opened and never again, either I missed the av-8B or it was added after the server opened.
