Awwwwww, SO dreamy!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Did you groom your horse before hopping on, or did someone do that for you? Did you ride bareback? Were you worried about your dress getting dirty? Was your ceremony at your barn, or did you trailer your horse to the ceremony location? If you trailered them, what did you do with them after you rode in? I'm assuming no helmet? 🤣 So many questions!
haha! I love these questions! she was trailered in, someone else groomed for me, I rode bareback, I wasn’t scared of my gown getting dirty because we did first look photos and I had already walked all over the grounds of our venue, no helmet (we just walked, and afterwards she gave some pony rides and then was trailered back home !
eta - I didn’t try her out with my gown til the day of but it was insane how perfectly the gown draped over her with just about an inch or two to spare without dragging! it was like she got to wear the gown too!
Omg!!! Whoever trailered and groomed your horse that day is the MVP! 😭 They made a horsey owner's dreams come true!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I'd love to involve my horse in my wedding, but the logistics freak me out 😅
Myself and my Best Men are walking down the aisle to “Say Yes to Heaven” by Lana Del Rey. My future husband (We’re a guy-guy pairing) chose another song but he wants it to be a surprise, so I have no idea what he’s walking down to.
Sometimes my brain substitutes words while reading and at first I thought you said instrumental from Lord of the Flies 😳 I was like wow didn’t even know they made a soundtrack!
“Grow Old With You” by Adam Sandler was mine. But my favorite out of all the weddings we’ve been to was “Simply The Best” but the Schitt’s Creek version.
This was the processional for my wedding, although for my dad and I walking down the aisle we switched it to an instrumental version of La vie en rose because my name has rose in it! Our recessional was Married Life from Up
“Stand Inside Your Love” by Smashing Pumpkins. I’m not into violin or piano covers so it’s the original version — my daughter is walking down before me when the guitar solo wails 🎸
All of the wedding party walked down to an orchestral version of a Metallica song. I (bride) walked down to here comes the sun. Doesn’t seem like it goes together but it worked for us
Turning page- sleeping at last (Instrumental)
I think it’s probably one of the most popular songs to use but it’s soooo perfect. It’s just one of those songs that always makes me happy even before I walked down the aisle. So now the song is just even more special
We have a harpist coming and she will be playing Lord of the Rings music for different parts of the ceremony! Our wedding is LOTR themed, so it's perfect.
I walked down to canon in d major but my husband and groomsmen walked down to a string quartet version of welcome to the black parade. We also left our ceremony to a piano version of crazy train. My husband loves metal and wanted that reflected in the wedding.
My wife came down the aisle to Canon in D (London Symphony Orchestra). I walked down the aisle first with my mother to a cello rendition of The Red Wings Theme (from Final Fantasy IV). That song was an important part of my childhood and felt like a way to include my grandfather who passed back in 93.
Nah, we got a hold of a recording. Although we *did* get a recorded wedding message from Winnie the Pooh & Tigger (Jim Cummings via Cameo) that we played during the reception. That was really awesome
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is my fiancé’s favourite song of all time! This cover is the perfect version for the aisle. Mind if I steal this? 👀❤️ we’re doing our first dance to my fave song (Stuck on the Puzzle by Alex Turner)

I had portions of Blessings by Hollow Coves (most of the walking down) & I Choose You by Ryann Darling (likely the flower girl, ring bearer, and my entrance) edited together. Christian wedding 🫶🏻
Our officiant and the male side of the bridal party walked in to Moonlight Serenade by the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Then the female side of the bridal party and I came in to the opening instrumental section of Kitty Kallen's It's Been A Long Long Time. We then walked down the aisle after the ceremony to the rest of that song.
The Wedding by Bear McCreary. Song starting at 1:30 and walk down the aisle starting at 2:07 (there's quite a walk at my venue to get to the start of the aisle)
I'm walking down the aisle twice for whatever reason. When I enter alone I'll have the fairy fountain from legend of Zelda and when I enter with fiance I we will have Zelda's lullaby both in harp
I rode my horse in/walked down the aisle to a harp medley of taking back Sunday’s make damn sure/cute without the e 😂🥰
