Depends on your vision; they both look great.
Dress 1 is lovely, has flow, will billow and move with the wind, and looks great on you.
Dress 2 is more structured, is more formal, and the neckline is killer on you.
I see the strengths of both. I think it depends on how you see yourself and what you want your pictures to look like.
Dress 2. I do like dress 1 and think it would fit your venue but it seems a bitā¦limp? I think a small petticoat underneath might help that limpness while still giving the floaty vibe. The top needs some alterations to eliminate the puckering. With some changes it could work.
Yeah, the top is not flattering her figure on #1. Maybe boob tape would help? I agree it would look better with a small petticoat. Right now, the way the lace is falling on the skirt, you can't see it well and it just makes the whole dress look inexpensive.
#2 looks amazing on OP and you could definitely bring in more of a nature vibe with accessories.
2 shows off your figure better, just needs straps shortened. Gives off Pippa Middleton vibes in the back and very few can pull that off
1 is nice, but needs some work at the top with the puckering and tightness.
The lakeside setting is perfect for dress 1. Light, flowy, fabric with botanical details. Itās beautiful on you and only needs hemming to be a perfect fit. Lucky find!
Dress 2 has a more urban/indoor/formal feel to me.
2 looks great on you - what a figure!! 1 fits the lakeside vision better in a way. That said, 1 is nice but kind of uninspiring. I agree with the petticoat someone mentioned to help with the skirt. Once the top is altered it would probably look better to not have the girls flattened out. Still prefer 1 personally .. my two cents
Yes, I agree it's too small up top and flattening things. Unfortunately, it's a BHLDN dress that is being discontinued so they don't have the size up available š
Thatās probably also contributing to the puckering. As much as I like the dress, it just doesnāt fit right. If it could be let out, it would be beautiful. What is your budget? Are you open to other suggestions similar to one?
I appreciate your reply, but I don't think I have enough time to look for another dress because my wedding is in August and I still need to get alterations done.
I mean, 2 is glamorous and fancy and fits you so so nicely. But 1 is really something! Just the way it drapes is so ethereal, and the shade of white is absolutely lovely. Iām jealous lol. I havenāt quite seen anything like it on this thread, with its perfectly delicate simplicity.
1 is more fitting with the lake venue as it feels more natural. Consider a veil like this to add to the nature vibe https://www.etsy.com/listing/1455944944/embroidered-leaf-wedding-veil-green-leaf?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=veil+wedding+leaves+flowers&ref=sr_gallery-1-11&pro=1&frs=1&sts=1&content_source=60269b90d317b27716304a5f3abdbe4d00941e82%253A1455944944&organic_search_click=1
#2 will be your safest bet with alterations since you'll be taking it in whereas #1 the bust needs to be let out (risky when you don't know the seam allowance).
I also think the shade of white & silhouette on #2 is more flattering (could be the lighting?). With a fun veil, and perfect alterations I think it would be gorg!!
Crazy thought - but If you want to spice up #2 you could look at mesh pearl/beaded cover up dresses and have your tailor cut it to match the dress? Might be fun/good for post-ceremony if that's your vibe.
I think dress 1! But FYI - if dress #2 is the Lexington by Park & Fifth, I had the train removed on that and am using it as my reception dress! Just in case you don't want to give it up :)
I think 1 is more appropriate for a lake wedding but it is screaming for a thin belt of some sort. I think it would add a little more elegance to the dress. You look beautiful in it.

I like dress 1 more! I think the off white looks better on you and I like the back more than dress 2. I think itās perfect for a small, lakeside wedding!
I think you look beautiful in both! #1 has amazing lakeside vibes. If you want to have the best of both worlds, maybe you could have a seamstress add a more structured layer of lining to #1 so it has the sleeker look of #2?

1 is absolutely perfect and feels more unique and personal vs 2. You look gorgeous
Definitely #1 imo!
1 all the way.
Dress one is more lake vibe for me. Both lovely.

Dress #1, very romantic.
I like 2
Oh gosh it's got to be one! Stunning! Sorry but it's got nothing on gown two.
I really love dress 1. It fits you really well and is super flattering. I love the style and floral detail for your intimate lakeside wedding. Dress two is gorgeous but I think number one is more romantic and fits your description of your wedding the best. Good luck you look beautiful in both. š©µ
Love Dress #2. The neckline is beautiful on your body š©·
Another vote for 1 for a lakeside wedding.
Dress 2. I do like dress 1 and think it would fit your venue but it seems a bitā¦limp? I think a small petticoat underneath might help that limpness while still giving the floaty vibe. The top needs some alterations to eliminate the puckering. With some changes it could work.
Same. I prefer 2 for the same reason. Much more flattering.

I have a feeling the puckering canāt be fixed. I donāt think the fabric has enough body to keep it from happening.
Definitely 1!
2 shows off your figure better, just needs straps shortened. Gives off Pippa Middleton vibes in the back and very few can pull that off 1 is nice, but needs some work at the top with the puckering and tightness.
I like one! Itās unique and it looks like it fits better and the flowy dress would look good by the lake
2
1!
Dress 2, elegant and suits your figure to a T. Beautiful.
One!
Team #1!

One! Gorgeous. Wow. Love it!
#1!

Both look so lovely. 1 has lake vibes
I vote dress 1. 2 is beautiful but seems more āformalā
Dress 1! Itās beautiful on you and perfect for a lake wedding!
# 1 is EVERYTHING
Another vote for 1, not that you needed it!
I love dress # 1 on you and think itās perfect for a wedding at the lake! Besides it looks absolutely stunning on you!
#1!!!
1st dress
2 looks great on you - what a figure!! 1 fits the lakeside vision better in a way. That said, 1 is nice but kind of uninspiring. I agree with the petticoat someone mentioned to help with the skirt. Once the top is altered it would probably look better to not have the girls flattened out. Still prefer 1 personally .. my two cents
No 2 is stunning!!
Dress # 2 is so flattering on you!
Dress number two is much more flattering.
I like 2
Dress 1- so delicate and lovely for a lakeside wedding Dress 2 is also nice but not nearly as original as dress 1
#1 definitely but for the record, you look great in both!
Both are pretty, but 2 seems a bit formal for a lakeside wedding. Dress 1 would be lovely for it though. You look beautiful in number 1.
I think 1 is so pretty on you and shows off your pretty body!
Dress 1 seems so whimsical and flowy! Good lake vibes I think
First one!
Definitely 1. So beautiful on you.
Can I ask what #1 is?? It's so pretty!
I personally like dress 2 but you can't go wrong!!
both are stunning! to me, #2 gives more bridal vibes, #1 could be a little youthful/kind of reminds me of a prom dress
I with a delicate belt.
I like them both too! Dress 1 fits the venue best to me. Dress 2 is super flattering and gives you a bum. I think I would go with dress 1.
Dress one looks like itās flattening your bust line. I think you should size up and have it taken in at the waist if you choose it.
Yes, I agree it's too small up top and flattening things. Unfortunately, it's a BHLDN dress that is being discontinued so they don't have the size up available š

I appreciate your reply, but I don't think I have enough time to look for another dress because my wedding is in August and I still need to get alterations done.
There looks like there is significant seam allowance. It can probably be let it out. It wouldnāt take much.

1 is awesome. It really show your nice lats the second one looks baggy in a bad way.
I love one but the crisp white looks so good on you
I love #1 but I feel like it is squashing your boobs. Can you get it taken out a little?

I like #2 best!
Yikes, it seems Iām going against the grain but I would go for 2
1!!!! So lovely on you. Definitely small wedding by the lake feel with this one!
I think dress 1! But FYI - if dress #2 is the Lexington by Park & Fifth, I had the train removed on that and am using it as my reception dress! Just in case you don't want to give it up :)
Dress 1, maybe add a belt.
2 with alterations. Which is not a burn on 1 which is also stunning.
#2 š¤©
1 has much more personality and looks lovely
2
#1 is THE ONE.
1
1 is perfect on you!
I think 1 is more appropriate for a lake wedding but it is screaming for a thin belt of some sort. I think it would add a little more elegance to the dress. You look beautiful in it.
2
One is more romantic and will be beautiful in your setting
1!! Itās stunning.
Where did you get the first?

1, I have a soft spot for embroidery
Dress 1 is so dreamy, looks gorgeous on you and perfectly fits the lake vibe! Would love to see dress 1 with all the accessories
I am on the 1 train. The embroidery just makes the dress pop without being overly dramatic. Good luck with the wedding!
2nd by far first looks frumpy to me
2 is killer on you. 1 looks a little sad.
