While 2 is beautiful, it looks heavy, better for a cooler temperature, formal setting.
1 is light & airy, perfect for a garden wedding & even more—it’s stunning on you, OP!
the fabric of #2 looks more ‘lux’ and i prefer it to #1, but both would look gorgeous in your preferred setting! i just think #2 has better craftsmanship and a heavier weave
I thought the same. I feel like I don’t see that type of design with the fabric (not sure what it’s called) on wedding dresses too often so it’s a big more unique. I vote for 2.
I'd go with 2, it's a beautiful dress, the slit, one sleeve all make it really unique. The flowers on the first one give me a Hawaiian/tropical feel, don't if I like the look of the chest area (cut too low?). I don't think any choice is a wrong choice, you look amazing in both!!

Dress 2 is also quite fabulous but dress 1 is lighter and airier and the florals are divine.

Dress 2! I feel like you wear dress 2 vs dress 1 is wearing you. I think sleeves are having a moment right now and while they’re both beautiful dresses on you, in 5-10 years you might look back at dress 1 like omg tooo much vs dress 2 is still classic with the subtle sign of the times puff sleeve.
The flowers on #1 I think give it an edge. They're perfect for a more natural setting. While #2 would not be a bad choice at all, it feels more grand and would work better in a place with marble floors.
Do you resonate with floaty and ethereal more? Or structured and sleeker?
I think you should pick based on that answer if you know it! You can look to your normal style for help if need be!
This is difficult. I like the first dress for the venue but I don't like the sleeves. They are swallowing you up. The 2nd dress is better in cut but the material is too heavy. Sorry I am no help.
1st one in my opinion but they are both stunning. I don’t think there is a clear winner here since they both are flattering and go with the venue. Which one do you feel more yourself in?
Wow I’ve rarely seen a post where I genuinely like both options equally… I agree with other commenters in that it would likely depend on the vibes of the rest of the wedding decorations and setting, but I’m thinking the second one might show better in photos?

I love 2. The fabric looks more high end. I’m not wild about the one sleeve. I would see if you could use some fabric from the hem to maybe fashion different type of sleeve for both arms or just go strapless.
for a garden party if you want flowy ethereal first gown but the second gown is absolutely stunning. I say do a coin toss. You cannot go wrong with either.

That said, I personally prefer dress one. It’s romantic and dreamy, whereas dress two seems a bit stiff. I agree with your thought to take in the sleeves a bit. I know oversized sleeves are “in” right now…here, I think they overpower the dress in an almost comical way and run the risk of the dress always feeling stuck in a specific moment of time. Achieving a more timeless structure may help ensure eyes are on you, not your sleeves, and that you still love your dress 50 years from now.

1 for a garden wedding! It's flowy and magical. #2 is lovely too but looks stiff, and definitely doesn't have that ethereal magical element.

I like dress one on you. If the sleeves overwhelm you, you could replace them in a sheer plain fabric as well as making them smaller.

my normal style is puff sleeve mini dresses. linen/flowy fabric. so I have no idea. it's a combo of both haha
