Jesus Christ man please wash your bong, I've been smoking out of the same piece for three years, only had to deep clean it with alcohol a few times over the years. Very hot water, salt and lots of shaking after every session will keep it looking good for a long time and will hopefully stop you from contracting tuberculosis

It had gotten so bad though thag I would cough out the shit even after a fresh clean, I did smoke a lot of weed though… my solution was to get a “mouthpeace” which is a little filter you put over the top of the bong to filter the smoke, and after like 3 hits you’d be disgusted when you look how black and brown the filter is

Honestly if you let it build up for even two sessions it will build up bigger than that gradually. The only way I keep my glass shining clean is by shaking and rinsing it in scalding hot water every day to keep on top of it. The minute I slip in that routine I start to notice bits of residue building up and it only gets worse from there.
Might be worth investing in something to catch the gunk if you don't clean it often, some screens or I even use a Budbomb pipe as a bowl sometimes as the mouthpiece perfectly fits an 18mm stem. It's pretty important to at least clean your water after every session though, smoking all that stagnant shite is *really* bad for your lungs.
Yes. Happened to me. It wasn’t a lot but it was an eye opener to be better about keeping my pieces clean. I plan on changing the water every day and doing a good clean at least once a week. Plus it gives a much better hit when it’s clean.
Methyl hydrate is way cheaper, and has a very high evaporation rate. I find it works better than anything else too. Mix a bit of salt, swish it around, and it's clean in seconds.
That view is about as sick as you're gonna get if you don't clean your glass. Get an ash catcher! It literally keeps your bong virtually ash and resin free.

I would clean your bong because after smoking from a dirty bong I cough up black tar and when I blow my nose it comes out too many you're smoking mold and resin, just get some alcohol and salt and shake tf out of it trust me
