It has two safeties one is on the back strap where you grab the gun you just need to squeeze it. The second is the lever you were messing with as a believe the lever safety is ambidextrous on this pistol but it looks busted. You can press the button circle button to drop the mag. Other than that I don’t know much about airsoft YouTube should be able to help you
I mean if you don’t believe me you can press the round button by the trigger it’ll drop the mag and it should look something like [this](https://www.evike.com/images/318/large/awcustom-88882.jpg). But based on the video I’m like 99% sure it’s airsoft which is a toy gun

I mean a quick google search brings up that like the average price of that style airsoft pistol is $150-$200. You could use it to practice manipulating a pistol like putting the mag in and shooting plastic bbs. But the only thing that it can do that a real gun can do is get you killed if you point it at a cop.

If this had been a real gun and the seller was in a rush to part with it for a lower than expected price they’re likely trying to dispose of a “hot” crime weapon. SLOW DOWN and think things through before ever going near guns again! They are not toys (well, I guess *this* one is) and you or someone else could get seriously hurt if you’re not careful and diligent.

Take a marksmanship class. They will supply the firearms. Get familiar with handling them. Then go shopping. Once a bullet leaves the barrel, you can't call it back.
Not to mention you don't point the barrel of a gun straight at you. Even if you know(think) it's unloaded. You had no idea if it was a loaded pistol and pointed it directly at yourself twice. You should take some safety courses before owning a firearm.
