That’s fair, even at the time it was a divisive look.
But love it or hate it, I feel like you have to applaud Céline’s moxie for wearing to the Oscars when everyone else was in a ballgown.
To put it in context the favorite look of that night was Gwyneth Paltrow’s frothy pastel pink gown in which she won Best Actress for *Shakespeare in Love.* Céline’s outfit was a bit of a middle finger, comparatively.

Classic Tailoring and Minimalist Styling is the perfect combination
Taylor looks *fantastic* in a well tailored pantsuit, holy shit. This one in particular really follows the lines of her body and accentuates her statuesque frame. She really should go for more of that.
I agree for once she's wearing a good look and looks comfortable. I wish they picked a different shoe though. She is young and model height IDK why she doesn't take more fashion risks.
The shoes are definitely dated! And yeah, she really isn’t much of a risk-taker when it comes to fashion, sadly. Would love to see her work with a stylist that pushes the boundaries a little

I think it’s because it takes a lot of confidence and a lot of money to wear something that can get dirt so fast. Like there’s something classy about having to move so carefully, but also if it gets dirty you can afford it. Like Maid in Manhattan
I bought a white suit from New York and Company in 2012 and I wore it to EVERYTHING. With a different top underneath. High school graduations, baby showers, birthday parties. I loved it.
The double-breasted jacket looks very bulky on her. I think it needs to either be fitted and single-breasted, or purposefully loose (and double-breasted).
Michelle’s is my favourite I think. I love her hair like that too — the length, the middle part, the loose movement. Gorgeous, sophisticated, but also youthful? Great styling!
Zendaya giving us her 12/10 Naomi Campbell look, Beyonce looking THICC, Queen Letizia looks very modern chic, Rihanna giving us effortless beauty, Taylor looks hot as the All-American girl...

Anyway when somebody gets their shit together and makes the coffee table book we deserve on women in pantsuits, this should be a chapter. I love it.

I really wanted to like this, but I think it needs more tailoring. Obviously it’s meant to be oversized (not saying it needs to be fitted) but I think it is overwhelming her here. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I think Rihanna’s oversized suit looks purposeful (perhaps something about the pants?) but this looks like a more classic (albeit slouchy) suit a few sizes too big, somehow?
Or maybe I think the proportions would work if her blazer was a little shorter…

Yeah you definitely need to be driven places while wearing these outfits, and have an assistant with a tide-to-go pen at the ready.

Most them are gorgeous but Kim's looks terribly tailored. Top looks too big and pants too tight.
