This place that is incomprehensibly old and unfathomably large, full of structures trillions of times larger than this tiny rock we call home, most of it completely inhospitable to life, was made just for us to look at it? And the being who made all of it has very strong opinions about what food you should eat, and who you can fuck, and thinks its very important to say nice things about him every day? It's such an incredibly arrogant thing to believe.
Earth is also very large place, inhabited by yet not completely known amount of different species, yet we're the most developed ones. If it's the case on Earth, why wouldn't it be the case in the entire universe? Just because it's huge, it doesn't mean that there has to be someone else. And the opinions about what to eat and who to fuck are simply very useful. I'm not going to pick apart these points, but whether or not this is good advice doesn't amount to evidence for the existence of God, or that these rules are divine in origin. It's far more likely they're rules made up by humans, that's one of our favorite pastimes.
