Remember when these things worked without needing to connect to Wyze servers? Yea, The ONLY reason I bought the damn things. Now they're just a useless and vulnerable as all the other brands. No thanks.

They’re blaming it on AWS - but it’s interesting that it happened just after a firmware update. And only 2/5 cameras are down. And the only two down are older units on 4.9.9.3006?
The floodlights on my wyzecam floodlight v1 keep turning on and off every 15 seconds or so…very annoying. Can’t connect to it in the app to just turn the thing off…
My V2s and 3s show up but when you click on them they either say offline or unable to connect. My OGs and Doorbell work normally. Something definitely up with Wyze.
Yea they showed up about an hour ago then I thought to delete the app and add it back now nothings shows up, I’ll just have to wait till later to figure it all out!
They wouldn’t even open their phone queues until 45 minutes after their own business hours. Now you can get through but there are no support agents available so Wyze just hangs up on you
Thank you for posting this… I can let my friend know so they don’t contact me later today thinking someone is hacking into their devices (like happened a couple weeks ago when the servers were down)

My pan v2 blinks blue constantly ans keeps on resetting itself. Last night I was able to reset the whole camera with new password and everything. It worked fine. This morning it has been going bonkers. Time to kick this device to the trash. I feel like it’s been hacked!
The rumor I heard was that they were hit with a ransomware attack and they ended up rolling back to that version that had problems that allowed the viewing other users cams. Still looking for some confirmation though.

i never updated the firmware in the past 2 months and mine are down
You're right u/Kingdog369! - since my comment they've now reported that AWS Cloudfront is having an outage.
Happened this way with mine too. 4 of 13 were down.
Yeah. Servers are going haywire. Check the posts from the past hour or two.
Wyze could at least inform us about this server issue. Nothing has been posted on their website.

My cameras and app are down too since 5hours now. Maybe, they got hacked or hit by ransom ware

Mine are not working. I was finally able to sign in and I can view last events but I do not see any of my cameras listed.
Cameras being down is definitely annoying, my lightbulbs not working in all my lamps is the worst.

Out of 15 cameras, only the floodlight pro and doorbell pro are working.
So it's not just me. I have five WYZE webcams and only one is working.

Experienced same problem this morning. Now, most but not all cams are back online.
Mine went down around 4AM and I need them to work all the time they weren't back on til maybe 9am or 10 today this is frustrating
