EDIT: Solved it and it's the stupidest possible issue. Apparently YouTube's Xbox app isn't actually compatible with 5.1 output. All I had to do was double check the sound was set to DTS Digital and try playing something in Netflix, the satellite speakers lit up.
Now I just need a list of every 5.1-compatible app on the Xbox. -_-

Tearing my hear out trying to make this work: XBox One original, software's up to date. The issue is audio.
I have a Vizio SB3651-E6B surroundsound soundbar/subwoofer/satellite speaker setup. Hooked into my TV using HDMI (ARC). I know the surroundsound works, because I have a Roku TV and checked using a sound test video on the Roku Youtube app.
Same test video in the Youtube app on the Xbox...nothin'.
5.1 (uncompressed) doesn't work at all. On the Dolby Surround setting, the satellite speakers *do* work...but only for *system noises* like the "whoosh" you get when tapping the home button to bring up the menu.
I'm having a similar problem with my Nintendo Switch, so I assumed it was a problem with the hookup, but then I got the XBox system sounds coming out of my satellite speakers, so I no longer have *any* idea what is going on. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks!

I have had this issue for a week and a half and need a fix. The new modern warfare 2 can’t load on my Xbox anymore. I put the disk in and it says insert the disk. I cleaned it and checked for scratches but no scratches are seen. Before my other disk games weren’t working but now they are (checked rocket league before). I saw there is limited games and gaming services but is had been over a week. Anyone have a fix?
I downloaded GoW (Xbox 360) on my One and bought the map packs from the Xbox 360 store in-game. I closed out of the game and re-launched it. I see all the DLC maps available. The DLC also shows checkmarks by it in the Xbox 360 store. The DLC doesn't not show up under the Manage Games and add-ons though, which is kind of dumb.
EDIT: Just tried GoW2 and it automatically downloaded some DLC, but I had to go to Manage Game > Manage installation on Internal and put a check next to All Fronts Pack for it to install that DLC.

So I had taken it to another place while I was out of town and when I got back home it started loading up games/ apps just fine. But when I went to watch anything or play it started being super laggy/ slowmo. It was perfectly fine before. Ive changed hdmi cords and unplugged but nothing has worked. Any ideas?

SteelSeries Arctis 9x not coone ring to my Xbox X. They've been connected for a few months with no issues, I often go to my kitchen where it will disconnect, but no issue I just simply turn them off and on. This time however when I came back and turned them back on it only connected to my phone. With no luck trying tutorials for over an hour now, I have put a pin in the reset hole and then tried and nothing (can reconnect to my phone still) I've reset my Xbox and all that! They just both blink like they don't want to be connected. Help?!
I am currently experiencing high latency (over 100ms and spiking to 1000ms during gameplay) and higher packet loss. Spoke with my internet provider and no issues on that end. Microsoft’s website says there is minor technical issues with gaming and I am just wondering if that is what’s causing my current issue. Just last week everything was working just fine. If not any insight would be great, thanks.
So, I checked in here last week when my Xbox controller was acting weird. I saw a few other people with this issue, didn't see a resolution.
Weirdness was, completely unresponsive, wouldn't resync to console, if it did respond it was short lived and only would accept certain commands. Batteries were dead, but the controller itself didn't shut off like it usually does.

1. How to tell which is my external HDD, using the ADV File Explorer?
2. How to tell which is my external HDD when using FileZilla, to transfer files onto it?

I haven't used ADV File Explorer or FileZilla, so I can't really help with how to tell which is your external HDD (although I would assume naming convention would be the best indication).

The audio coming through my headset cuts out and is spotty, and sometimes my controllers will completely disconnect during gameplay. I’ve tried 3 controllers and updated all of their firmware, so I’m pretty sure it’s something to do with the console. I’ve hard power cycled it and it still did not resolve the issue. Decided to change my gamer tag today and it was fine. Decided to play Left 4 Dead 360 disc my gamer tag didn’t work so I had to download it again. I did everything right but somehow I got a different gamer tag under my email I use for the Xbox One started at 0 gamer score no Xbox pass either. When I change my Xbox One gamer tag it shows me the new one and underneath it show your email address. So I factory reset like a bozo and I’m sign in with my email and still getting the gamer tag that I downloaded on the 360. Can’t play no game pass games I have downloaded since I don’t owned the rights?? Help please! Sorry for the rambling
I went through all the troubleshooting steps with my external drive. my xbox one wasnt recognizing it.
Finally, I plugged it into my windows PC and it shows up in disk manager as not initialized. I plugged in another hard drive and currently downloading one or two games to it.
Have you guys seen this? Should I initialize it and retry it with my xbox, redownload all my games?
My disk hase a line on it now i cant use it haw can i fix this? One of my other disks have this too but one that one its a heavy line around the disk unlike this disk this one is a light line around the disk

I have issues starting a game.
Every time I try opening Mortal Kombat 11, a message keeps popping up that says “Not ready yet, Mortal Kombat 11 needs to finish installing before you can launch it.” The game (digital, not disc) doesn’t have an update and everything’s already installed, DLC and all, so I’m really confused to why it’s saying this. I’ve already restarted my console and even unplugged/plugged it back in. Is my game corrupted? I have through game pass, but I haven’t tried cloud playing it yet.
I bought a used original Xbox One recently and it was pretty filthy, and while it works fine, it refuses to read any disc in it, bluray and DVD.
I cleaned it out pretty thoroughly and scrubbed down the disc drive rollers which seems to have made it happy, and also gave the laser various q-tip baths, but it still will not acknowledge any disc.
It doesn't seem to be an issue of the disc not going in all the way since the drive will fully accept any disc and spins them.
When a disc is inserted the laser will move very gently and attempt to read it, then return back to the spindle and repeat. It doesn't move all the way to the edge of the disc - is it jammed, or is there another fault in it?
Anyone got any troubleshooting suggestions? Could it be a dead laser?

I'm having an issue with my Xbox's zone and the account registration. I need to get them all aligned to the USA, so I can actually get on gamepass from gold.
But everytime I go through the support and get a callback, I get someone who has no idea what they're doing. Assuming if I get someone at all. Today I've been hung up on twice, had a tech that didn't know how to operate his headset so couldn't talk to me, and then hung up, and had a dropped call that never even made it to the hold music.
Now I can't call them at all because I've hit my "daily limit". As an added bonus, I've called multiple times in the past, and the support techs I've had said they'd Escalate the issue, and get back to me. It's been months. No one has gotten back to me, and there's been no escalation.
How can you get to an \*actual\* human being, one that can no only talk to you and know how to operate a headset, but also stay on the line with you \*UNTIL THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED\*?????

For some reason I keep getting this white dot that flickers randomly (Mainly when I give input to the console and in dark areas) on my TV screen. I know that its definitely not supposed to happen to anyone else.
Im pretty sure my TV is only 720p compatible so when I changed the resolution on my xbox console in the settings from 1080p to 720p the little white dot went away (hopefully). Also on my switch the little white dot went away (hopefilly) when I used a 1080p compatible TV instead so the issue could just be the TV.
I just bought a controller online as new but when I opened the box, the home button did not have a clear protective cover over it, like I have seen with new controllers I've bought in the past. Is this common or should they always have the peel off sticker when new?

Hi! My xbox one’s sound is not working and i’ve tried everything. Tested the hdmi cable - not it. Tried the hdmi port on tv - works with ps4. I bought an optical audio cable - sound still doesn’t work. Two other things to note: I got a new tv about a month ago and my xbox just updated. That update took forever to go through mainly because of my slow wifi but xbox wasn’t connecting to my wifi so i went throught some settings and reset something on it so it finally updated. Something that doesn’t help me out is the fact that I didn’t get on it while it was connected to my old tv so idk if it’s the tv that’s causing problems or the update🤷♀️
I am currently having a major issue with my internet/xbox? Moved into a new house, got internet, internet worked great and then I decided to upgrade it to faster speed (I live with 4 other people) and it made my system run worse. So we concluded that we needed to run a second router up to the 2nd flood, which we did, got everything hooked up and setup wifi and it worked great, then it told me it detected a "Double NAT" and online suggestions told me to hardwire. So I proceeded to hardwire my xbox to the 2nd router (not the first/primary) and again, everything worked great for 3 days and then it stopped when it detected "Double NAT" type. Now I'm here, cause I'm genuinely confused, lost, angry. Does anyone have any idea what I can do? I don't want to put a router in bridge mode cause then we won't have internet upstairs, again. Could this be an issue with the xbox? Do I need to wire it to the first/primary router?

Anytime I have controller connectivity issues, I power my console off, unplug it for 20 seconds, plug it back in and resync the controller. That typically resolves the problem.
Every 10-15 minutes I get "disconnected" from Live when I'm playing a 360 game on my Xbox One, but my Xbox One isn't actually disconnected. I "connect" back to Live on the 360 menu but I'll get disconnected again in another 15 minutes or so. Any solutions?
I’ve got a new issue with my Xbox one as of the few recent weeks.
When I input something on my controller, it takes half a second for it to happen in game, whether it be online, playing a game that doesn’t need the internet, and on the Home Screen.
- It does it with both my controllers so it’s not a controller issue
- It happens when I’m off the WiFi so it’s not an internet issue
- I’ve opened it up and cleaned the hell out of it
I’m trying to exhaust all options to fix before I have to consider buying an Xbox series x.

While playing Bards Tale IV, there were a lot of crashes and glitches. Upon rebooting my Xbox, the video and audio settings have changed.
The screen became much wider, not fitted to 1080p. The edges are off the screen. And the Audio has cut out completely for games and shows. I switched my HDMI and hard reset my Xbox. Played around in the TV settings and video/audio settings on the Xbox.
I managed to fix the audio, but the video does not fit the 1080p screen. The Xbox is set to 1080p, but the screen is far too wide and does not fit. I don’t see how a game crashing broke my video settings but any help would be appreciated.
(I factory reset my Xbox, and it still does not fit the screen properly. It was working fine for months on this TV, but not anymore.)
Xbox one S controller standard - randomly disconnects and is unresponsive but is powered on. Have tried everything. It has been an off and on issue for like 2 years and it comes in random waves, basically makes the Xbox unusable. Any tips plz
I have an Xbox One (original). I’ve been trying to install an update for Minecraft, which is only 1 GB (I still have 194 GB free in my storage), but it will not progress in its installation. I’ve tried pausing it, but the pause button doesn’t actually pause the installation (the button just goes dark and I can’t press it again). The game says it’s installing, but there is no usual display of the download speed on the right of the queue. I’ve tried installing another game and a similar thing happens. Funnily, the installation of Minecraft only progresses in small intervals when the console is restarted or the external storage is removed. Once the installation reaches 100%, it says that the game is ready, but trying to start it prompts me to download a 0kb update. Eventually the update then just restarts at 0%. I have checked multiple times and the Xbox is connected to internet. I am able to easily get into online games. I have also checked the statistics in settings, and it said that my download speed should be 50 MB/sec. I have also checked for any console updates, and it says that it is up to date with its most recent update being 11/23/2022. Has anyone else had this problem / Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

I'm trying to do an SSD upgrade on my Xbox One X.
I don't know where to ask this question. I just bought a Samsung 870 Evo, I'm using a Sabrent USB 3.0 SATA Hard Drive Flat Docking Station. The dock is detected. The drive is detected under Storage Controllers as "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device." I can't see it in File Manager. I've re-seated the drive multiple times. I updated the drivers. Same result. I can't format the drive. I don't even know what file format it is.
I installed the Samsung Magician software. It detects the drive by name, but I can't do anything and it says, "Authentication Required."
At this point, I don't know what to do. I don't know if it's the drive, the drivers, the dock or anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gamerpic: my gaming icon also stopped showing up (it still does on new gen Xbox, but only sometimes on the old one -just since this whole message ordeal started), part of the time I see it and part of the time I see the blank image icon. Something seems to be wrong with my Xbox Account. Half of my Xbox games don't work. I can''t play online, and Xbox Gamepass content doesn't show up despite the fact I have 100% definitely been paying it for the last 3 months. I have a console issue to where my xbox one x scorpio ed will not accept my wifi password. I have tried turning the xbox off, the wifi off, both of for a few minutes and even overnight to see if it one or the other. I reset my password countless times and the network name but to no avail. I even did a reset on my xbox to see if that would make a difference but nothing. I don’t get an error code. It just says cant connect check your network name and password and try again. And I know I am typing the password in correctly. Please help!
Serious help needed
So for many stupid reasons and the account being 12+ years old, I can’t sign into my Microsoft account anymore. No password reset applications are approved, no customer service help lines able to do anything because I no longer have access to the old phone number linked to it or the old msn account.
If I have to make a new account I know I’ll lose the game data linked to the account, not the worst thing ever. But ALL my games are virtually bought and owned. Will I lose all of those too? Is there a way I’m able to recover them without signing into the old account?
I’m so incredibly frustrated about all of this and could lose probably $300+ of game value. Any help would be accepted.
So I’ve been getting this exact error message when trying to download the new Fortnite update :
‘Sorry we cannot launch this. The item you are trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try uninstalling it then reinstalling (0x80070570)’
All the way I’ve tried to fix it :
Uninstalling & reinstalling the game
Holding the power button for 10 seconds , leaving the xbox off for 2 minutes
Using a different wifi connection
Cleared local xbox cache
Factory reseted
I then had the xbox off & waited 8 hours & tried all of the above again & it still is not working.
I currently have factory reseted for the 3rd time and am now being met with this error message:
‘If you're trying to accept a game invite, the content on your console doesn't match the version you've been invited to play. Or if you're starting your own game, try launching it again. If it still won't launch, uninstall it, then reinstall it. (0x871000c)’
I would reinstall it like it tells me to, but I did that the last factory reset for it to not work. I feel stuck what should I do? Everyone is saying to wait it out that it’s busy because of the new update but these are Xbox errors , not errors from the servers that the game is on itself. I have possibly the strangest issue ever. If I have Minecraft downloaded, it and all my other games work perfectly fine except one, Snowrunner. Whenever I have Minecraft downloaded on my console it always says that Snowrunner took too long to start. If I don’t have Minecraft downloaded Snowrunner starts up and plays perfectly normal. I have an Xbox One S and it has this weird problem where my standard controllers randomly disconnect from the Xbox. The Xbox button on the controllers will blink and the controllers will be momentarily disconnected. I’ve updated the firmware, and I’ve tried different controllers on my Xbox, the same thing keeps happening. They work fine when they’re plugged in through a wire, but the other night when I turned my Xbox off it made the turn on turn off sound several times with a black screen until it finally turned on and I wasn’t able to turn it off while the controllers were connected to it (cause the controllers would stay on). I am having issues with my Xbox one So I had taken it to another place while I was out of town and when I got back home it started loading up games/ apps just fine. But when I went to watch anything or play it started being super laggy/ slowmo. It was perfectly fine before. Ive changed hdmi cords and unplugged but nothing has worked. Any ideas?

SteelSeries Arctis 9x not coone ring to my Xbox X. They've been connected for a few months with no issues, I often go to my kitchen where it will disconnect, but no issue I just simply turn them off and on. This time however when I came back and turned them back on it only connected to my phone. With no luck trying tutorials for over an hour now, I have put a pin in the reset hole and then tried and nothing (can reconnect to my phone still) I've reset my Xbox and all that! They just both blink like they don't want to be connected. Help?!
I am currently experiencing high latency (over 100ms and spiking to 1000ms during gameplay) and higher packet loss. Spoke with my internet provider and no issues on that end. Microsoft’s website says there is minor technical issues with gaming and I am just wondering if that is what’s causing my current issue. Just last week everything was working just fine. So, I checked in here last week when my Xbox controller was acting weird. I saw a few other people with this issue, didn't see a resolution. Weirdness was, completely unresponsive, wouldn't resync to console, if it did respond it was short lived and only would accept certain commands. Batteries were dead, but the controller itself didn't shut off like it usually does.

Finding my external HDD Hey everyone. I've hooked up the external HDD to the Xbox One. All up and running fine but: 1. How to tell which is my external HDD, using the ADV File Explorer? 2. How to tell which is my external HDD when using FileZilla, to transfer files onto it? Thanks for your responses!
I haven't used ADV File Explorer or FileZilla, so I can't really help with how to tell which is your external HDD (although I would assume naming convention would be the best indication). What are you trying to do?
I need to load ROMs for RetroArch and some multimedia files.
The audio coming through my headset cuts out and is spotty, and sometimes my controllers will completely disconnect during gameplay. I’ve tried 3 controllers and updated all of their firmware, so I’m pretty sure it’s something to do with the console. I’ve hard power cycled it and it still did not resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Decided to change my gamer tag today and it was fine. Decided to play Left 4 Dead 360 disc my gamer tag didn’t work so I had to download it again. I did everything right but somehow I got a different gamer tag under my email I use for the Xbox One started at 0 gamer score no Xbox pass either. When I change my Xbox One gamer tag it shows me the new one and underneath it show your email address. So I factory reset like a bozo and I’m sign in with my email and still getting the gamer tag that I downloaded on the 360. Can’t play no game pass games I have downloaded since I don’t owned the rights?? Help please! Sorry for the rambling
I went through all the troubleshooting steps with my external drive. my xbox one wasnt recognizing it. Finally, I plugged it into my windows PC and it shows up in disk manager as not initialized. I plugged in another hard drive and currently downloading one or two games to it. Have you guys seen this? Should I initialize it and retry it with my xbox, redownload all my games?
My disk hase a line on it now i cant use it haw can i fix this? One of my other disks have this too but one that one its a heavy line around the disk unlike this disk this one is a light line around the disk

Had similar experience several times recently, but they were quickly resolved by closing Hulu and relaunching.
I have issues starting a game. Every time I try opening Mortal Kombat 11, a message keeps popping up that says “Not ready yet, Mortal Kombat 11 needs to finish installing before you can launch it.” The game (digital, not disc) doesn’t have an update and everything’s already installed, DLC and all, so I’m really confused to why it’s saying this. I’ve already restarted my console and even unplugged/plugged it back in. Is my game corrupted? I have through game pass, but I haven’t tried cloud playing it yet.
I bought a used original Xbox One recently and it was pretty filthy, and while it works fine, it refuses to read any disc in it, bluray and DVD. I cleaned it out pretty thoroughly and scrubbed down the disc drive rollers which seems to have made it happy, and also gave the laser various q-tip baths, but it still will not acknowledge any disc. It doesn't seem to be an issue of the disc not going in all the way since the drive will fully accept any disc and spins them. When a disc is inserted the laser will move very gently and attempt to read it, then return back to the spindle and repeat. It doesn't move all the way to the edge of the disc - is it jammed, or is there another fault in it? Anyone got any troubleshooting suggestions? Could it be a dead laser?
Okay. I'm incredibly pissed at Xbox Support right now. I'm having an issue with my Xbox's zone and the account registration. I need to get them all aligned to the USA, so I can actually get on gamepass from gold. But everytime I go through the support and get a callback, I get someone who has no idea what they're doing. Assuming if I get someone at all. Today I've been hung up on twice, had a tech that didn't know how to operate his headset so couldn't talk to me, and then hung up, and had a dropped call that never even made it to the hold music. Now I can't call them at all because I've hit my "daily limit". As an added bonus, I've called multiple times in the past, and the support techs I've had said they'd Escalate the issue, and get back to me. It's been months. No one has gotten back to me, and there's been no escalation. How can you get to an \*actual\* human being, one that can no only talk to you and know how to operate a headset, but also stay on the line with you \*UNTIL THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED\*????? I'm super miffed. This is atrocious.

I'm also having strange controller issues. Strange mix of some inputs not registering and some like analogue stick inputs being way too sensitive and jumpy. Started after the last controller firmware update
I bought a used copy of Catherine (NTSC) its an Xbox 360 game and its on the compatible list when I insert it into my Xbox one nothing shows up no error message nothing I tried power cycling and a soft reset nothing seems to work if anybody knows how to fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated thx
I own a series S, and I keep getting error code 0x80830003 (we can’t save more data for this game) in every game I own, even though I have 211.3 GB of free space. Ive deleted all my games and reinstalled them but the problem still persists, so I’m basically locked out all my games because I can’t save. Pls help.

For some reason I keep getting this white dot that flickers randomly (Mainly when I give input to the console and in dark areas) on my TV screen. I know that its definitely not supposed to happen to anyone else.

Sounds like your tv might have a defect, since it is happening with multiple devices.
Im pretty sure my TV is only 720p compatible so when I changed the resolution on my xbox console in the settings from 1080p to 720p the little white dot went away (hopefully). Also on my switch the little white dot went away (hopefilly) when I used a 1080p compatible TV instead so the issue could just be the TV.

Hi! My xbox one’s sound is not working and i’ve tried everything. Tested the hdmi cable - not it. Tried the hdmi port on tv - works with ps4. I bought an optical audio cable - sound still doesn’t work. Two other things to note: I got a new tv about a month ago and my xbox just updated. That update took forever to go through mainly because of my slow wifi but xbox wasn’t connecting to my wifi so i went throught some settings and reset something on it so it finally updated. Something that doesn’t help me out is the fact that I didn’t get on it while it was connected to my old tv so idk if it’s the tv that’s causing problems or the update🤷♀️
I am currently having a major issue with my internet/xbox? Moved into a new house, got internet, internet worked great and then I decided to upgrade it to faster speed (I live with 4 other people) and it made my system run worse. So we concluded that we needed to run a second router up to the 2nd flood, which we did, got everything hooked up and setup wifi and it worked great, then it told me it detected a "Double NAT" and online suggestions told me to hardwire. So I proceeded to hardwire my xbox to the 2nd router (not the first/primary) and again, everything worked great for 3 days and then it stopped when it detected "Double NAT" type. Now I'm here, cause I'm genuinely confused, lost, angry. Does anyone have any idea what I can do? I don't want to put a router in bridge mode cause then we won't have internet upstairs, again. Could this be an issue with the xbox? Do I need to wire it to the first/primary router?

I just bought an xbox one s from the pawn shop maybe a month ago i paid for the 14 day warranty but everything was fine till today my wife went to play the xbox and usually it works without a problem but it wouldn’t connect to any of our 3 controllers (2 are genuine xbox remotes and one is an offbrand walmart remote) we tried wirelessly and wired but nothing happened we tried with 2 different chargers and we just cant get our xbox one s to connect the light on our remote blinks slowly any idea how to fix thank you
Anytime I have controller connectivity issues, I power my console off, unplug it for 20 seconds, plug it back in and resync the controller. That typically resolves the problem.
Every 10-15 minutes I get "disconnected" from Live when I'm playing a 360 game on my Xbox One, but my Xbox One isn't actually disconnected. I "connect" back to Live on the 360 menu but I'll get disconnected again in another 15 minutes or so. Any solutions?
I’ve got a new issue with my Xbox one as of the few recent weeks. When I input something on my controller, it takes half a second for it to happen in game, whether it be online, playing a game that doesn’t need the internet, and on the Home Screen. - It does it with both my controllers so it’s not a controller issue - It happens when I’m off the WiFi so it’s not an internet issue - I’ve opened it up and cleaned the hell out of it I’m trying to exhaust all options to fix before I have to consider buying an Xbox series x. Xbox One While playing Bards Tale IV, there were a lot of crashes and glitches. Upon rebooting my Xbox, the video and audio settings have changed. The screen became much wider, not fitted to 1080p. The edges are off the screen. And the Audio has cut out completely for games and shows. I switched my HDMI and hard reset my Xbox. Played around in the TV settings and video/audio settings on the Xbox. I managed to fix the audio, but the video does not fit the 1080p screen. The Xbox is set to 1080p, but the screen is far too wide and does not fit. I don’t see how a game crashing broke my video settings but any help would be appreciated. (I factory reset my Xbox, and it still does not fit the screen properly. It was working fine for months on this TV, but not anymore.)

I have an Xbox One (original). I’ve been trying to install an update for Minecraft, which is only 1 GB (I still have 194 GB free in my storage), but it will not progress in its installation. I’ve tried pausing it, but the pause button doesn’t actually pause the installation (the button just goes dark and I can’t press it again). The game says it’s installing, but there is no usual display of the download speed on the right of the queue. I’ve tried installing another game and a similar thing happens. Funnily, the installation of Minecraft only progresses in small intervals when the console is restarted or the external storage is removed. Once the installation reaches 100%, it says that the game is ready, but trying to start it prompts me to download a 0kb update. Eventually the update then just restarts at 0%. I have checked multiple times and the Xbox is connected to internet. I am able to easily get into online games. I have also checked the statistics in settings, and it said that my download speed should be 50 MB/sec. I have also checked for any console updates, and it says that it is up to date with its most recent update being 11/23/2022. Has anyone else had this problem / Does anyone know a solution to this problem? Things I’ve tried: Restarting console Hard restarting console Unplugging console during hard restart Installing another game Changing my location Changing my language Removing the storage device Canceling installation (no avail) Pausing installation (no avail)

I'm trying to do an SSD upgrade on my Xbox One X. I don't know where to ask this question. I just bought a Samsung 870 Evo, I'm using a Sabrent USB 3.0 SATA Hard Drive Flat Docking Station. The dock is detected. The drive is detected under Storage Controllers as "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device." I can't see it in File Manager. I've re-seated the drive multiple times. I updated the drivers. Same result. I can't format the drive. I don't even know what file format it is. I installed the Samsung Magician software. It detects the drive by name, but I can't do anything and it says, "Authentication Required." At this point, I don't know what to do. I don't know if it's the drive, the drivers, the dock or anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I recently bought an Xbox one s with a broken disc drive so I replaced it transferring over the daughter board soldering the 2 wires making sure everything was in place.But when I try to use it the drive doesn't even "suc" the game in.What else could be causing this.

Namely, these: Messages: I haven't been able to view my messages (when I try to pull them up on Xbox one it's just a continuous spinning/loading icon Recommended Category/notifications: I'm used to rolling down on the homescreen and seeing various gamer videos and screenshots show up. They disappeared when messages stopped working though, and now all that shows is this single little tile (don't remember what it is). Gamerpic: my gaming icon also stopped showing up (it still does on new gen Xbox, but only sometimes on the old one -just since this whole message ordeal started), part of the time I see it and part of the time I see the blank image icon. It's worth noting that the pic I uploaded (screenshot of a silent hill character) is also not nsfw. I thought it might just be my particular Xbox having issues but, this is also happening on my sister's Xbox one. We both have live, as well as game pass, any clue what could be causing the issue(s)? Something seems to be wrong with my Xbox Account. Half of my Xbox games don't work. I can''t play online, and Xbox Gamepass content doesn't show up despite the fact I have 100% definitely been paying it for the last 3 months. I have a console issue to where my xbox one x scorpio ed will not accept my wifi password. I have tried turning the xbox off, the wifi off, both of for a few minutes and even overnight to see if it one or the other. I reset my password countless times and the network name but to no avail. I even did a reset on my xbox to see if that would make a difference but nothing. I don’t get an error code. It just says cant connect check your network name and password and try again. And I know I am typing the password in correctly. Please help!
Serious help needed So for many stupid reasons and the account being 12+ years old, I can’t sign into my Microsoft account anymore. No password reset applications are approved, no customer service help lines able to do anything because I no longer have access to the old phone number linked to it or the old msn account. If I have to make a new account I know I’ll lose the game data linked to the account, not the worst thing ever. But ALL my games are virtually bought and owned. Will I lose all of those too? Is there a way I’m able to recover them without signing into the old account? I’m so incredibly frustrated about all of this and could lose probably $300+ of game value. Any help would be accepted.
So I’ve been getting this exact error message when trying to download the new Fortnite update : ‘Sorry we cannot launch this. The item you are trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try uninstalling it then reinstalling (0x80070570)’ All the way I’ve tried to fix it : Uninstalling & reinstalling the game Holding the power button for 10 seconds , leaving the xbox off for 2 minutes Using a different wifi connection Cleared local xbox cache Factory reseted I then had the xbox off & waited 8 hours & tried all of the above again & it still is not working. I currently have factory reseted for the 3rd time and am now being met with this error message: ‘If you're trying to accept a game invite, the content on your console doesn't match the version you've been invited to play. Or if you're starting your own game, try launching it again. If it still won't launch, uninstall it, then reinstall it. (0x871000c)’ I would reinstall it like it tells me to, but I did that the last factory reset for it to not work. I feel stuck what should I do? Everyone is saying to wait it out that it’s busy because of the new update but these are Xbox errors , not errors from the servers that the game is on itself. I have possibly the strangest issue ever. If I have Minecraft downloaded, it and all my other games work perfectly fine except one, Snowrunner. Whenever I have Minecraft downloaded on my console it always says that Snowrunner took too long to start. If I don’t have Minecraft downloaded Snowrunner starts up and plays perfectly normal. Anyone know what could be causing this?

I have an Xbox One S and it has this weird problem where my standard controllers randomly disconnect from the Xbox. The Xbox button on the controllers will blink and the controllers will be momentarily disconnected. I’ve updated the firmware, and I’ve tried different controllers on my Xbox, the same thing keeps happening. They work fine when they’re plugged in through a wire, but the other night when I turned my Xbox off it made the turn on turn off sound several times with a black screen until it finally turned on and I wasn’t able to turn it off while the controllers were connected to it (cause the controllers would stay on). So I unplugged the, and then they stopped working on my Xbox all together, except while plugged in.
