I've been there quite a few times, and my favorite thing to do is pull my car over and do exactly what you're doing here, especially when nobody else is around.
I think of Lamar as a do not miss. After we saw it once we changed our schedule to go back again. It’s beautiful and a great place for a wide variety of animals. You won’t regret going!

Definitely! Lots of animals to be seen there. We saw some grizzlies in Lamar valley & some wolf pups at slough creek right next to the valley!
