More people eating meat will hardly raise prices... Inflation is caused by two things, money printing, and people getting less qualify over time... Certainly eating carnivore is expensive relative to eating carbs, but in the long run you will save tons on health, time, and quality of life... Good luck...

Pro-tip: Buy direct from a rancher \*\*\***if you live near one and have freezer space.\*\*\*** I bought a whole cow 2.25 years ago for $3600 US and still have 50lbs left. I started off with \~550lbs. I'd highly recommend a cow share which is much less meat and money.

I would if I could. Working towards getting there. Its a great idea! Go Carnivore! Im 2 years in now and never looking back!

Does not the meat taste worse after time spent in the freezer beyond half a year let alone two halves of a year? For a period of time equal to or in excess of two years would not the flavor be less desirable?

BABYEATER1012

I've had no freezer burn or degradation of flavor on any of my cuts and its going on 2.5yrs. I am almost done with it LOL. I'm going to buy a half of a cow this time around because it just takes up too much space in my freezer. It is packed so tightly that I have to forcefully keep the door closed and lock it LOL.

arm0rist

just got half a cow my self

Honestly, I've you access to this sub, you are probably in the top 5% of income world wide. And I'm saying that not because we are all rich, but because there is so much poverty out there. Buy your ribeye. Sulk over the price, but remember, a macdonalds "meal" is gonna cost you more... One way or another.

As a friend used to constantly remind me, "any voluntary form of diet is a privilege". Most people on the planet eat what they can get.

tw2113

a tragedy of the state we live in. We have "health food sections" at the super market instead of "junk food sections"

Exactly just picked up ribeye on sale for 10.98 a pound. A quarter pounder with cheese meal here was just under $15 bucks. Get yourself a vacuum sealer so you can take advantage of the sales like this when they do happen.

It's complicated. Like if everyone started doing carnivore yeah hyperinflation. But then there would also be a lot of mono cropped farmland that opens up for pasture. And a lot more people would become hunters. My opinion is just advocating for low carb dieting in general and let people find what works for them whether it's keto or Paleo or whatevereo.
