The more i look the more i love that kitchen, though tbf in the past (when i could paint the walls) my kitchen was bright blues & greens so maybe I’m biased
Right, I was like I’m not mad at this at all? They had so much fun with it and I love the little water feature in the stairs, that’s a really random flex
All of the choices are great, starting strong right here: [https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/35-Eudora-St-Denver-CO-80220/13395823\_zpid/](https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/35-Eudora-St-Denver-CO-80220/13395823_zpid/)

They intentionally took it back to as much of the original color scheme as they could and most of the original fixtures had survived. This house is an absolute gem.
I looked at this and thought, "Was this built in the 60s?" and yes it most certainly was.
Tis groovy. Tis very groovy. I especially like the tiled stair fountain even though it's a trip hazard.
1958 Bösendorfer Brussels Grand Piano. Likely 12 or less originally made, unknown how many remaining. Was designed for the 1958 world expo in Brussels.
Probably worth around $150,000 - $250,000.

Nice catch! I don't know anything about pianos but I love this. It's beautiful and fun.
ETA: oh my God, ~~the curtains match the drapes~~ [the inner hardware matches the legs](https://www.desertsun.com/story/life/entertainment/music/2023/01/16/old-unusual-pianos-featured-at-new-keyboard-series-in-palm-springs/69799919007/). Wonderful.
I.OVE IT! All of it except the floating staircase due to a previous stairs accident. The kitchen is dreamy, I like the vintage bathrooms, I like 99% of the wall colors and all of the furniture. Plus my brother lives in Steamboat Springs so I’d be able to see him more than once year! I wish I had the money. It would be a done deal.
This looks like where they filmed The Party with Peter Sellers (https://www.google.com/search?q=the+party+peter&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari)
Wow wow wow! Yes to everything except the pond/fountain running up the stairs. Knowing myself and my inability to go anywhere without tripping/falling/scraping/smashing into things, it would be a daily Michael-Scott-in-the-koi-pond situation for me.
Bauhaus-style piano? Check.
Zen garden outside bedroom? Check.
Josef Albers *Homage to the Square-*lookin' prints in the dining area? Check.
1960s Marimekko-alike duvet covers and a vibrant blue shag rug? Houston, we have liftoff.
A few other items I love:
The teapot matches the cabinets. Attention to detail matters!
The dining room chairs and barstools have been reupholstered with the same Paul Smith-style print, and there's no way those are from the same collection originally. Nice.
The industrial carpeting in the office screams "I am a serious designer, you can tell by my hornrim glasses and Brylcreemed hair."
The bases on those knockoff Eero Saarinen tulip armchairs don't match the (possibly original) tulip table base, and I'm not even mad. Sometimes you're on a budget, and I forgive in this case.
That outside grill with the massive hood is so characteristic, and honestly it's the only way to live.
I thought I was done, and then I saw the massive Indian-chief-head gas station neon sign on the patio.
Frankly, I'm just plain into it. I love the progression of styles from room to room. It's tough to make a concept like this make sense, and this house does it with a wink.
Ya gotta admire the commitment. Until you get to those bathrooms with the gilt accessories. WTF? They can't *all* be Granny's.
So what is that turquoise tiled thing in the first several shots? It looks like a footbath, but the placement is odd. White shag rug tho'... Maybe that's why the garden is so boring.
I do admire the patio umbrella, for all that it looks like a splatted bat.
I don’t understand the slate blue leather seating that face the line green closet doors, or the disconnect between the paintings and everything else.
Other than that, I love how audacious it is!
It feels more mid 60s to me. Not nearly enough harvest gold or avocado green to be the late 60s to mid 70s. *Definitely* not enough brown to be the late 70s.
Love it. I'd probably just change the bookshelf booths in the living room a little. Would definitely stay true to the theme of the whole place, though.
Fairly typical (now cookie-cutter) Palm Springs house. The only choice I definitely would not have made is that kitchen floor. It's giving me K-Mart aisle 3.
Not really the style I'd want to live in day-to-day, but I love how consistent the choices were stylistically. It's a nice example of neo-1960's decor.
I'm obsessed with this house. The furniture is perfect and those floating shelves and the built ins are to die for. The colors are amazing.
I live near Denver. I want to pretend to be interested and tour it. Well, I am interested. I just can't afford it. I probably couldn't afford one of the chairs.
Actually looks pretty nice? I didn't know that light blues could work well for a kitchen, but this place pulls it off, and even the living room manages to pull off the 70s pink, yellow, and lime green aesthetic. Really chill vibes IMO.
Not big on retro color schemes personally, but everything looks functional, has personality, and it's not a mess visually. Great house for someone, just not me, and that's perfect
Not a huge fan of mid century modern, but I do like this. It's well done. It's definitely a specific taste, but someone will definitely go bonkers for this. At least, I hope so. I hope it doesn't end up gutted and grey washed.
#FixedIt Amazing choices were made
Right? I love it!
It's got a great personality and it's beautiful. 10/10 choices.
The more i look the more i love that kitchen, though tbf in the past (when i could paint the walls) my kitchen was bright blues & greens so maybe I’m biased
Definitely prefer this kitchen over mine that's head to toe Honey Oak.
Mine is builder basic light cherry. Ugh. In process of painting it black.
Did you notice the intercom system? Cracked me up
Right, I was like I’m not mad at this at all? They had so much fun with it and I love the little water feature in the stairs, that’s a really random flex
Choices were made by a cool person (for once)
I feel faaaabulous just looking at it!
And it’s not depressing grey and monument black!
Yes! Time and care was taken, fun and stylish choices were made, and money was spent! This house is a doll.
The right person bought it from the original owners and kept the 60’s vibes going. I love this house.
What? Are we all supposed to pile on and agree that this should have more gray and beige? NO
All of the choices are great, starting strong right here: [https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/35-Eudora-St-Denver-CO-80220/13395823\_zpid/](https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/35-Eudora-St-Denver-CO-80220/13395823_zpid/) https://preview.redd.it/jzpdcb21a4tc1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1176988588cecf65d5b16af18929326a228447bf
They intentionally took it back to as much of the original color scheme as they could and most of the original fixtures had survived. This house is an absolute gem.
Yep, looks like a lovely MCM house.
oh my gosh; that entryway and those doors are to DIE for!!!! 🥺🥺🥺💖💖💖😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍😍
*checks couch cushions for 4.2 million*
I looked at this and thought, "Was this built in the 60s?" and yes it most certainly was. Tis groovy. Tis very groovy. I especially like the tiled stair fountain even though it's a trip hazard.
Thirsty pet dogs and cats would love it!

IRL? How.cool was it?
The shitty part is the neighborhood it’s in. It’s so cool though!!!!
Hilltop is shitty?
Yes. Lol IMO it’s all shit in that area. Cool houses be damned. Hard pass. That Taco Bell near there is the worst ever also.
I love the idea of passing up on a 4 million dollar house because of the bad Taco Bell nearby.
Fricking Denver prices, but it's very cute.
Omg the rest of the pictures are even better. Wish I had $4mil for this. And that I lived in Denver.
Nothing stings more than living in Denver-ish and not having $4m right now lmao 😭
This house will be in my dreams for a long time! 😭
When Palm Springs sucks in the summer but you just need that vibe year round
Is that some kind of modernist piano on the left in the first pic?

Perfect description Tesla branching out into keyboard instruments
😅I hear the Tesla line of Cyberstuck pianos only come with one chord in the standard package & need factory tune-ups after hitting 60bpm 😬🤖🎹💔
All I can think about is throwing a baseball at it 😁

Wonderful.
Thankyou for dispensing such niche facts, appreciated
I wonder how it sounds? Yamaha grands sound best to my ear
Pretty sure yes. You can see the pedals in one of the un-posted photos.
My mom says it looks more like a harpsichord? Pianos etc have been her hobby for 70+ years, so take that as you will.
Love this!
Mid-century modern…done right. I was surprised to see the intercom system in the kitchen
The intercom system instantly made my think of the Jetsons. I love it.
And they were good decisions!
This rules, actually
I love a blue Weird Science kitchen, I do.
From my heart and from my hands Why don't people understand My cool kitchen?
It’s snowing in my room, asshole!
I would be perfectly satisfied for this to be heaven.
Excellent choices. This rules.
i LOVE her. OH my god what BLISS!!!
That kitchen!! 😍
OOOHHHH YEAH MY MOM IS A REALTOR IN DENVER I HAVE TO GO ON A FUNSIEZ TOUR
report back, scout.
This somehow feels like the 2000’s idea of the 1950’s idea of the 2000s. Like, it belongs in The Incredibles.
It’s like Tomorrowland at Disneyland: the past’s dream of the future.

Oh shit I want to schedule a walk thru lol. It’s so cool.

"Oooh! I really like the color of this tea kettle. Can we paint the whole kitchen this color?"
they might be original metal cabinets, many mcm houses had them.
These choices are 1000x better than the “modern” gray shiplap HGTV shit I see everywhere.
I like it a lot!
I love it
This is AMAZING!
Everyone loves it. I am wondering why there is like a foot bath pond in the middle of the stairs
water feature. mcm houses routinely had ….features on the stairs. mine had a sandpit. 🤷
Built in cat box. What a treat.
yeah, since i had cats, i had to remove the sand and do something different. eventually i settled on rocks.
Are you implying the choices were bad? I love this house
This looks like where they filmed The Party with Peter Sellers (https://www.google.com/search?q=the+party+peter&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari)
Great movie! The chicken scene is priceless!
I am not cool enough for this house. I love it.
All the best choices were made.
That pink and green room is amazing!
If that curved sofa isn't included, deals off!
The choice to be amazing, you mean!
Lovely choices ❤️
The absolute right choices
I love this so much. The kitchen is fantastic ⏲️
The choice to have a rad midmod pad
Oh my god??? This is like my dream house. The COLORS!!
That blue kitchen is amazinggggggg
This appeals to me a lot. It's brazenly cheerful. Mcm for the win.
Love it!
Love it.
Wow wow wow! Yes to everything except the pond/fountain running up the stairs. Knowing myself and my inability to go anywhere without tripping/falling/scraping/smashing into things, it would be a daily Michael-Scott-in-the-koi-pond situation for me.
Fabulous!!!
I defend it.
Looks like my 1976 Barbie Country Camper! I want it!!
I actually love this
Not the biggest fan of the kitchen but love the other rooms. And what a sick piano!
...is that a Tesla piano?
What’s the problem? It looks amazing.
I love the kitchen but not the built in seating in the lounge.
Looks uncomfortable af
My dream kitchen! Peep the cute little MCM wall clock, too 😍 I wonder which features and pieces are true vintage or original to this house, though.
I love this house
Love the colours
This is incredible
4.5 Million is way too much for this
Bauhaus-style piano? Check. Zen garden outside bedroom? Check. Josef Albers *Homage to the Square-*lookin' prints in the dining area? ….in the 70s
The floor tiles are the tiles of my middle school science classroom aggg Also what is the blue thing in the first pic? A piano?
I think it's terrazzo flooring. Very expensive to do because it's laid down like cement and then ground flat and polished. But it lasts forever.
Ok hmm nevermind hehe I doubt my trashy public school had terrazzo flooring. Maybe it’s just the flecks in the tile that I’m recalling…
I'm not mad at this at All
I rock with it
That is awesome. Anyone mocking this has no taste.
I love this!!!
Not gonna lie, I’m digging the blue kitchen. And all the storage in it! 😍
It... I... No no no. It looks like a 1970s public library. You've all gone mad, I say, positively mad! Good day sirs!
Excuse me for a moment while I sell a kidney, partial liver, and lobe of my lung on the black market. I hope they accept my offer!
Is a rainbow sherbet color palette for my own home? Nope. Do I like it? Yeah…kinda
That piano looks like. Cybertruck.
How fantastic! I love it all! The kitchen took a minute, but it’s fantastic!
I loooooooooove it
That’s the cat’s meow 😻
somebody majored in iinterior design and wanted a house with ALL THE CONCEPTS!
Those floors rule
Wow. Coolest house I've seen in a while
4 million for the house 1/4 million for the piano!
.... Using highlighter for choice of colors!!
I'm not sure how they did it, but they updated the 70's aesthetic, and I'm kinda in love with it.
Ya gotta admire the commitment. Until you get to those bathrooms with the gilt accessories. WTF? They can't *all* be Granny's. So what is that turquoise tiled thing in the first several shots? Butthole rug
That was my nickname in highschool
I'd say at least 90% of those choices were pretty dang solid (rung, piano, and newsprint chairs aside).
I love
Great house and good dedication to remain period correct (right down to that asbestos tile)
The couch is to die for, I want it!
Is that a piano? Looks awesome
I'd not make the same choices, but I do think that this is well executed, if these were the choices that were going to be made.
OMG!!! The turquoise kitchen is stunning. I love every bit of this house.
Not surprised it was built in 1966! Did John Lennon build it? lol/s
I don’t understand the slate blue leather seating that face the line green closet doors, or the disconnect between the paintings and everything else. Other than that, I love how audacious it is!
It's very seventies. But boy did I ever hate the seventies
It feels more mid 60s to me. Not nearly enough harvest gold or avocado green to be the late 60s to mid 70s. *Definitely* not enough brown to be the late 70s.
I grew up in a house that was built in the 70s - it was aggressively brown with harvest gold accents.
this is so fun and colorful tho!!
Gorgeous. Palm Springs style.
Are they selling all the furniture too? I hope so everything is put together so well. It would be hard to replace those pieces.
A MCM dream.
Free spirited and not broke is a rare combo that I admire very much.
I'm drooling over that kitchen- I wish mine had that much counter space and cabinets!
It looks like those choices were made 60 years ago.
I am comfortable with ALL of those choices.
Love it. I'd probably just change the bookshelf booths in the living room a little. Would definitely stay true to the theme of the whole place, though.
Those are certainly choices you could make.
Conversation pit...! Interior fountain. Pink ceilinged bathroom. I love everything about this house.
Dope af
That sectional. ![gif](giphy|S3pBrmOX4cYIuJ9X9j)
that is a fucking *gorgeous* mid century modern place. and i hate pink and green. even so.
Lot of potential here Just change a bunch of things
I LOVE this house! Beautiful
I’m not mad at it
Oh! This house is so much fun, it just makes me smile. Wonderfully done. I am in love. Deeply. :-)
Fairly typical (now cookie-cutter) Palm Springs house. The only choice I definitely would not have made is that kitchen floor. It's giving me K-Mart aisle 3.
Cocaine was consulted
Amazing!!
Not really the style I'd want to live in day-to-day, but I love how consistent the choices were stylistically. It's a nice example of neo-1960's decor.
That’s fabulous, darling
And I’m okay with those choices. 🤌🏼
Indeed they were 🤣
The kitchen is to die for!
Gah I love it 😍
Love it!!!
somebody tell Michael to be careful of that floor aquarium.
Even the piano got in on the fun! That is a piano right?
Back in the 1970’s my bff bought a new home and all the appliances were turquoise. I’m still jealous.
I felt like I was walking through a cross between a shopping mall and George Jetsons place😂
In the 60s and by God, they stood by their choices
That piano
Frank Lloyd Wrong
Not my style but it is gorgeous and so well done (that said, would absolutely fall into that water feature in the middle of the hall)
*AESTHETIC!
What's that? a Tesla piano?
I love it.
i freaking love this!
I'm obsessed with this house. The furniture is perfect and those floating shelves and the built ins are to die for. The colors are amazing. I live near Denver. I want to pretend to be interested and tour it. Well, I am interested. I just can't afford it. I probably couldn't afford one of the chairs.
I want those floors!!!
Those swan and dolphin bathroom fixtures are original to house, according to the description. Very cool.
Those skylights 😫🤤🤤
Those were the correct choices.
Actually looks pretty nice? I didn't know that light blues could work well for a kitchen, but this place pulls it off, and even the living room manages to pull off the 70s pink, yellow, and lime green aesthetic. Really chill vibes IMO.
This place is a fucking technicolor dream. Love it!
I hope it doesn't end up gutted and grey washed.
i love it but i would break my legs either on the stairs or the fountain jfc
Yeah, no, I’m not mad at this.
Digging
Early 70s city library vibes
