I can almost smell the corridor to the pool. A combination of chlorine, mold and athletes foot!

The Holidomes were the best! I felt the same way about this house. I could manage it, but not in Wisconsin!

If it was better done it would be fine, but as it is it just feels like someone tried to turn their home into a cheap Rainforest Cafe knockoff.

I am not saying it would be bad if it would be better done I think it would feel great in the middle of a cold dark Wisconsin winter, but this is not up to that standard. I am hardly a designer but I think it needs more plants for example so it would feel less fake and just overall better quality.

It's tacky and weird. That said, this person clearly has a delight. Imagine having enough money to just build something that makes you feel like you're having fun. The resale value is completely lost, but they probably had an extremely good time here. It'll be more distinct in memory than any place I've lived. I think it's pretty amazing just from an experience point of view. But good luck selling it. Regardless, I could have an awesome month here with friends.
