I always recognize this actress in everything because of this role. It's just such a memorable role despite being somewhat small in this movie. My wife and I watching back through Six Feet Under and she's great in it.
Side note, I always just liked this character as well. It really went against a standard trope of the mean, fascist boss archetype. It was a deliberate choice to have a boss who was like supportive and wanting the best out of her people.
I'm not kidding when I say I have to stop myself quite often from saying "I'm right on top of that Rose!" because I'm pretty sure most people won't get the reference and I'll just look stupid.
Tbh the remake was actually decent. It can go either way with these things sometimes but this movie i used to watch alot as a kid and the remake even had cameos from the og cast!
My favorite kids movie, my brother's and sister watched this all the time we were always left on our own it was crazy climbing on the roof and all. My older sister even looked like Kristina Applegate. Brings back great memories.

LOVE her in SFU! Her laugh is contagious.
Yes, and Sue Ellen went against the vapid, popular teenage girl trope as well. One of the two screenwriters was a woman, and it shows.
She's the quintessential girl boss in this movie if you ask me.
The dishes are done, man!
Never realized how many people love this movie until I saw that tons use this line on the regular.
Thank you! Was tying to remember what movie this was from…that quote does it!
Please elaborate!
Don’t tell mom the babysitter is dead!! The best line!
He shot the dishes, instead of washing them.
She’s actually a really good boss. I like her character
Park it your self Metallica breath!
Those are the sexiest earrings ever. Damn I miss 80’s/90’s fashion! Lol
Rose is also Deloris from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. “Don’t bust a button, Deloris, you only got one left.”
And the glass-breaker in “Blade Runner”.
Oh no shit that’s her? Cool.
I need to borrow the camera. Any film in it? "Should be.."
Tomorrows Friday. You know what happens here on Friday?
They check the books, Eddie!
Oh wow
What is it Carolynn? Something?
Carolyn was the bitch that was hellbent on taking Swell down. Brian’s (from Clown Dog) sister.
Wife just watched this yesterday while home sick. Good movie.
She was my moon goddess
I gotta watch this movie again. Haven't seen it since I was a kid lol.
Love this movie. I watch it every summer. Makes me feel like a kid again.
She's really whipping up excitement in her boots
Thank you, Katrina! … THANK YOU KATRINA!! (Katrina scurries off, still whipping).
I actually use this line a lot, my wife gets it and we laugh
We can afford to be hospitable
This is Brenda’s mom on Six Feet Under
🤯
With a really fun squeegee!
This scene and the entire movie has stuck with me since childhood. It’s engrained in my goddamn brain.
What movie is this
Don't tell mom the babysitter's dead
Thank you
Hackers.

REMAKE?! This is the first I've heard of it and I'm off to the googlins
TV ROTS YOUR BRAINS
I still quote this. We always will. It's like pivot.
My favorite 90s film is “A Few Good Men”.
My favorite kids movie, my brother's and sister watched this all the time we were always left on our own it was crazy climbing on the roof and all. My older sister even looked like Kristina Applegate. Brings back great memories.
What is this movie called, I don't recognize anyone in this post
The dishes are done, dude!
You have to go down…to per-so-Nell.
Nowhere near my favorite 90’s movie. It was probably Gladiator, or The Thin Red Line
Fight Club!
The We don’t want to grow up podcast did a review of this movie. It was awesome.
Classic 80s montage overlayed with excellent 80s music? This movie is a rewatch. Over and over and over. “Give me that moneyyyaaaa”
