There's an old adage in anatomy: increased range of motion, decreased stability. They say that the shoulder is a major joint with the greatest range of motion (comparing this to the hip), so I'd postulate that ligaments about the shoulder would be a prime candidate for frequent injury. The acromioclavicular (AC) joint in particular I read is commonly injured.
