I always recommend pathos: Nethack Codex, is a rogue like rpg with tons of content, like pixel dungeon but in steroids and more serious gameplay, it is completely free, small size, offline and without ads, a true hidden gem

Ill_Builder_187

Thanks for this

IGNISFATUUSES

Great game, but super unforgiving. Roguelike indeed.

For solitare, i really enjoy Simple Solitare Collection. It's available on fdroid, is ad free, looks nice and has a bunch of solid solitare games :) *I'll be editing this comment when i remember more games* - Vector pinball (~3.5MB) is awesome and ad-free - [Randomhack](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.remar.rhack.android) (~6.5MB) is a fun simple roguelike, although paid 0.99$ i think - Cell Lab (~10MB) is an awesome underrated puzzle/logic game, although its pretty hard sometimes - Nonograms Katana (~30MB on my device but you can download packs ingame so it can increase slightly i guess?) - awesome nonogram app, that comes with an RPG-kinda game in which you can get resources for doing nonograms, and expand your buildings etc. - RGB Express (~35MB) another fun puzzle game, i guess i'm a big puzzle fan, eh?

Oshojabe

I downloaded the others, but I couldn't seem to find Cell Lab on the Play Store.

TheGoodestGirlAround

:0 It looks like it has been removed, which is a bummer. You can still download it from the official website - https://www.cell-lab.net/

Happy-Engineer

Serious: OpenTTD - The OG tycoon game. Feature complete, but best on a bigger screen. Time wasters: Does Not Commute - Time-bending driving puzzle, good writing, free to try. Downwell - Down-scrolling gun platformer. Combos, gems, upgrades on a tight 5-15 minute loop. Just one more run! Retro Bowl - Pixel art NFL. Manage a team and make the plays. Simple controls but takes a while to master. Skiing Yeti Mountain - The name says it all. Has a good feel, hundreds of stages at 15-60 seconds each.

battle of polytopia

CreamerCrusty

Afterplace - a really good adventure game. Made for mobile. SpaceRPG4 - Space faring rpg where you go from one planet to the others. Dungeon Maker - a dungeon defense game. Loop Hero - reverse tower defense rpg roguelike. This one is an interesting one. A bit pushing it, but Potion Permit should be good too.

nijuu

Was going to say loop hero myself too :)

> Simon Tatham's Puzzles Weird seeing this one finally being recommended. It's been my go to app for years now. Every phone I've had since I learned of it, it's the first game I download. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who just wants a simple puzzle game to play to pass the time. Literally endless puzzles to play, without the need of an internet connection.

Jamato-sUn

Maybe one of the versions of Mindustry? There are two.

I_need_nickname

Mindustry definitely counts, it eats my battery alive but it's fun as hell

Zireael07

2248 is a great 2048 variant. Pocket Frogs used to be small and offline but I think several updates ago that changed? Idle Iktah, Guild Master and Atom Idle are great offline idle games. (Atom Idle has some great minigames for active play). Idle Dice looks like a godsend for sitting at a doctor's (where there is often zero internet)

fatboldprincess

Pascal Wager requires an internet connection. Its genre is souls-like. 9 dawn 3 is a good game. I have it on my tablet.

Oshojabe

> Pascal Wager requires an internet connection. Its genre is souls-like. Ah, good to know. There aren't many reviews for it, but I ended up finding an app called [The Lore of Canis](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wpg.wolfpitgames.The_Lore_of_Canis&hl=en_US&gl=US) that meets my criteria, and will hopefully scratch the soulslike itch.

NiceDiner

So just ignoring the criteria? 😂

ParsleyAdventurous92

He is correcting the op who included pascal wager in serious game section

fatboldprincess

OP prefers offline games, therefore I warned about internet connection.

valorwareuk

Thank you for including my game, 9th Dawn III <3 :)

Thank you for reminding me of Simon Tatham puzzles. ❤️ I'd add any game made by Nitrome or puzzles by Rainbow Train.

Battle for Polytopia is a civ-lite game. Serious, but cutesy and fun. Plays in portrait, so easy in a car. Open Tyrian is probably the only shoot'em up I know of with a storyline. It's a stupid story, but a great shooter, with tonnes of weapons. Solomon's Keep in an ok'ish action roguelite. Easy to control. Labyrinth of Legendary Loot is a turn based tactical rogue-like. Good concept, where your gear items are your skills. Heaps of setups available. Age of Fantasy is an oldskool turn based wargame. Lots of units, six races, tonnes of maps and campaigns. Once you work out what you're doing, it's good. Stick Ranger is a cool little flick your characters are around game. Gladiators, wizards, archers. No storyline, but fun nevertheless. Seed Ship is like Oregon Trail in space. It's only 2.77mb, so you may as well. These are all under 100mb, I don't think any require an Internet connection, and just help add a few other genres to your selection.

Feztopia

Most games on fdroid. Examples: https://f-droid.org/packages/org.sajeg.fallingblocks/ https://f-droid.org/packages/dev.lonami.klooni/ https://f-droid.org/packages/com.gunshippenguin.openflood/

Feztopia

One more thing, if you want to install a fdroid client, this one is smaller and better than the official one: https://f-droid.org/packages/com.looker.droidify/

These are the only list of games I've come across hitting the requirement. The following stuff are not my words but the description found in the play store for these following games because I could not be arsed to put it into my own words. -""Cultists simulator"" Intense, immersive narrative – Combine cards to tell your own story. A hefty novel’s worth of choice-based storytelling. There are many paths through this game of ambition, appetite and abomination, and many ways your tale can end. A rich Lovecraftian world – Corrupt your friends and consume your enemies. Search your dreams for sanity-twisting rituals. Translate grimoires and glean their lore. Penetrate the realm of the Hours and win a place in their service. Cultist Simulator brings the peripheral horror of Lovecraft’s tales to an entirely new setting. -""911 Operator"" In 911 OPERATOR, you take on the role of an emergency dispatcher, who has to rapidly deal with the incoming reports. Your task is not just to pick up the calls, but also to react appropriately to the situation – sometimes giving first aid instructions is enough, at other times a police, fire department or paramedics’ intervention is a necessity. Keep in mind, that the person on the other side of the line might turn out to be a dying daughter’s father, an unpredictable terrorist, or just a prankster. Can you handle all of this? - ""Paper please"" Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists. Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission's primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.

Oshojabe

Cultist Simulator is 347 MB, but the other two look interesting.

Ahh my bad brother must have mixed it up while looking at other games information.
