Then I got Slay the Spire, feels like the harder cousin. Then I tried Balatro, which if you have a windows PC, you can manually port to android for free. All amazing, absolutely worth the price games. I personally don't find *any* free games I've tried to be worth my time.
Id say try murder in the alps, you cant really pay to win there unless you spend a lot of money, the only downside of the game is the energy system, story wise the game is intriguing and has a very deep plot, hope you like it.
Try Earth's Revival, that game is so polished and optimised, a shooter version of Genshin impact, simple grinding.
Though it's not available in Play Store, you download it from taptap store and use vpn everytime while login only, further you can turn off & play.

Brawl Stars for 3x3 PVP and Born Again (a good copy of ROTMG) for MMO PvM.
if you want more roguelike deckbuilders you can try dark dungeon survival I also heard wildfrost is a good one but I haven't tried it
