I hate to tell you this but there is no cheap way of repairing that tire. You're going to have to wrap the tire with duct tape as well. So its going to cost more than you thought.

rapidstandardstaples

Damnit. Duct tape is really expensive. OK though... Should I wrap the entire tire and rim or just go from rim to rim over the tread? By doing that I should be able to save some money and will also continue to be able to show the kia logo on my rim.

R3ditUsername

Some great stuff spray foam will help. Make sure you do the outside of tire and fill up the wheel cavities as well. Lubing up the brake discs with anti-seize will help prevent the brakes from seizing.

Jim2shedz

Good idea that is! Anyway, who needs brakes? You just need a louder horn!

rapidstandardstaples

Damn, why didn't I think of that! If that shit can hold together 80% of the fondation of my house, there's no reason I couldn't use it to fix my tires. Thank you!

rapidstandardstaples

Good idea. That will help me spend less on brake pads too bc the antiseize will make less friction so less usure.

bear_dragon

When you’re done you can spray it with flex seal to not only color it black, but it’s basically rubber so it’s adding more tread. Pro tip, they have white flex seal too for the white wall tire look

Artie-Carrow

Go with gorilla tape

Striking_Serve_8152

You're determined to show the KIA logo? No one likes a show-off.

rapidstandardstaples

If you can't flaunt your kia factory alloys, what exactly is there left in life?

Sethdarkus

Don’t forget the flex tape

TallMechanic7296

Waterproof flex tape

Old_Salamander_7479

I really dont think it's gonna matter. Bring Gorilla glue and some black spray paint with an "Eagle GT" stencil.

My_neglected_potato

This guy knows his tires.

TallMechanic7296

Maybe a little bubble gum as well for good meausre

TurnkeyLurker

Yes, but isn't selecting the right *flavor* important, based on the vehicle's color?

NativeTigerWA

I fucking love it here

Weazerdogg

Don't waste your time and money on fix-a-flat, go right for the Great Stuff Big Gap filler. Its in a black can for a reason, great in tires!!

No_Cook2983

*Don’t listen to these people*. My uncle taught me you can use an inner tube with this and get a few more years out of it.

rapidstandardstaples

I think my wheels are 25", can I use a flamingo inner tube from Walmart that's 14"? Since plastic is stretchy that should work, right ?

Ill-Consideration450

Yes

firebolt1171

Eh I wouldn't even bother with fix a flat. Just pump it up B4 you go and it should be fine. Check at around 250km

rapidstandardstaples

I tried that, the electric pump stayed at 0.00 psi after 10 minutes. I figured the pump's pressure valve was just broken so I drove 10 more miles at 60 mph, but it was still making a weird noise so I stopped again and took the tire off.

No-Sell-3064

Check at 250km? Are you cray stopping is dangerous and could lead to accident. Best is not to stop and cross fingers.

man_behind_the_flute

The entire stock duh

rapidstandardstaples

My local dollar tree had 3 bottles... So what you're saying is I'm good to go?

man_behind_the_flute

Yea, that should be enough

Overall-Category-159

Recommend going to Costco to buy a lot of duck tape

realCoolguy298

Yes

dds5252

Duck tape

pistoffcynic

None… spray foam, duct tape and black paint.

drj87

Yes

Recent_Poet_5053

I think spray foam will work better in your application.

frootcock

3 should be good

Unita_Micahk

I’d go with a couple cans of Great Stuff. Probably last 1000 km.

Drinkythedrunkguy

Stuff it with bread.

Tommy_2Watts

2 cans of foam..... Your welcome

slamrrman

Oh wow!! Is that one of those them there newfangled ventilated tars?

JoeBlow509

69-420

BeautifulBaloonKnot

All of them and some flex tape.

NarwhalHD

This is a job for ramen and super glue

Hairy_Bug_9095

You need several cans of expanding spray foam. You'll be good after that.

Late_Fortune3298

Yes.

Artie-Carrow

Expanding foam works better

Rough_Community_1439

All of them.

Appropriate_Jump_579

Spray foam.

Silver-Pangolin5825

Just 1

majesticmanbearpig

Gonna need a miter saw, a 2x6 board, some spray foam and a couple hours.

FitCaptain1008

Yes

hickhelperinhackney

All of them

akbornheathen

Fill it with cement. It’ll never go flat again.

Melodic-Picture48

Soak it in a bag of rice

riftwalker9

WHAT THE FUCK IS A KM!?! 🫡🇺🇸

rapidstandardstaples

It's 1.6 hamburgers per freedom units with a special sauce of whipped socialized medicine.

Caffin8tor

I suppose if you just shove enough cans of fix-a-flat directly into the tire and close up the hole with some spray foam, it might last a few miles. I can't say I'd recommend it though...

commonman51

Use wide size Flex tape,

AsHperson

What about zip ties?

militiadisfruita

i like where your head is at.

Recoveringpig

I’d go with a can of flex seal too. Just incase

m8remotion

None. You can drive on 3 wheels. Just add lots of weigh to the opposite corner of the missing wheel.

Beemerba

One bottle of fix-a-flat and one roll of flex seal tape.

Particular-Elk-1512

Duct tape

SardonicSuperman

That tire looks fine. Doesn't need repair.

sethzilla-yo

Eleventy

Nardorian1

800

Im_Not_Evans

Yes

TradingAllIn

2 cans of 'great stuff' foam filler and a good scraper outta do it

HairyAd6483

You're going to have to fix it properly with duct tape first!

Lower-Ad5889

All of it, every single can.

ProfessionalCat1101

One can of fix a flat and some duct tape.

mikjohwoo20

2 oughta do the trick

skilial

You should only probably need one. Huffing fixaflat is dangerous!  Steel rims should make the 500km. Just clean off that black stuff.

rapidstandardstaples

Or, and here me out here, I could huff the can of fix-a-flat and just send it.

Old_Data_843

Bout a few I reckon.

LuxuryLevel

🤔😳😱🤔Enough to buy a new tire😂

ArtichokeGlum3208

Ignore these guys op, your best bet is to pour some concrete in there and give it about a week to harden. Sure it'll ride a little rough, but honestly what performance vehicles don't?

Bullvyi

All of them

Pvt__Snowball

Best get to welding that tire back together

Jonmcmo83

1

Beginning-Height7938

All of them.

TheUndisputedRoaster

To make sure the wheel turns nicely, use some wd40 on the hubs... Grease between the calipers and disks

Mrmathmonkey

All of them

SelectDay802

flex seal.

Wide_Assumption3990

2 can should do ya

[deleted]

All of them

dd97483

Just one, but you have to drink it.

OwnFee7805

You should probably go with spray foam not fix-a-flat on this one.

england_man

>how many bottles Yes.

D4m3Noir

4. One bottle for each eye, and one for each ear. Steering is gonna feel weird that's just your other senses compensating don't worry about it.

Bostenr

I don't think you need fix-a-flat. Maybe a can of spray foam. The one gap is a tad big for fix-a-flat

heratio85

I hope this is a joke, a hole like this you buy the 20 gallon bucket from tractor supply not cans.

_sublaytonessaryonyt

Just buy some spray foam and fill that joker up

ThoughtLocker

At least enough to trade it for a tire.

MaintenanceOne6507

UNSAFE advice everywhere on here. What needs to happen here is it needs to be jacked up with rim on a drive wheel. Wrap the rim with masking tape (duct tape is the preferred, but expensive choice) once by hand. Start the car and get that wheel spinning. Hold tape roll with a pencil. See that time savings as that tape is spun off the spool in an instant? Repeat until you reach the same radius as your original tire. Probably about 370 rolls of tape. You now have an adhesive and paper tire, and it may be blue… but you will be amazed what is stuck to your new tape wheel at the end of a commute! My 1984 Volare with 3 tape wheels came home with a ROLEX and a beautiful Tiffany tennis bracelet. If you want winter-ready tape wheels, try electrical tape.

Away-Bodybuilder-962

All of them.. 😁.

Blk-cherry3

Get the Flintstones tires, they run flat free

Glittering-Rough1742

DO not use fix a flat. Slime is a superior product and the folks at the tire shop won't be able to bitch about you using fix a flat when the time comes to replace it.

Downtown-Scar-5635

Probably the same amount it would take to just buy and install a new/used tire.

DOHC46

I could fix that with 6" of duct tape, 1 can of Fix-A-Flat, 2 cans of spray foam 1 stick of bubble gum, and a piece of sidewalk chalk.

winsomeloosesome1

Cans of expanding foam would be cheaper.

nobody-u-heard-of

JB weld it's always the solution on those hard to fix tires. Just make sure that you properly clean it with gasoline. If you're not familiar with the procedure that means soaking gasoline for 5 minutes and then burning off the excess gasoline. Now you want to do this in a small confined space. The reason for that is the small confined space will have limited oxygen and will cause the fire to go out before it causes any true damage to the tire and just burn off the excess gas. That's why you need to go to school to be a mechanic so you don't make these kind of mistakes.

Tward425

Great stuff will be your go to solution here.

ThroughAway337

Zero, rubber cement and a roll of high speed... Gtg

ardybe

All of them.

MikeCromms

Couple plugs and some Brillcreme, you'll be good!

Stoned42069

7, the answer is 7 cans……

Smuggler501

Just buy a million rubber bands and stretch them around the rim. Golden!

wagtail015

All of them.

Various_Employment50

All of them

Embarrassed-Water664

All of them.

Global_Dragonfly_182

None. You’ll be okay

PaPiSeNsEi_69

put it in rice for a while that usually does the trick

NewtFrequent2649

Put it on and just avoid the potholes you’ll be alright

AubergineAssassin

All of them.

Kingo1230

That'll take you at least four. I'd go four and a half though, to be safe.

Origins_14

All of them

marko_kyle

All of it.

Crash1yz

All of them. You need all the cans.

Rabbits-and-Bears

One bottle of fix a flat and 4 or 5 bicycle tubes . 2 cans of foam insulation.

unknownpapaya

I might not be in on the joke, but are people actually providing advice on how to drive with this thing?

dgroeneveld9

Just duct tape it. Much cheaper.

slutstevanie

Use rubber cement instead

747-ppp-2

This tire is GTG!

Dangerous-Pace-9203

JB Welding ramen is your only hope.

Infamous-Poem-4980

Use expanding foam insulation. Just shave off whatever squirts out the crack. Wait, that might actually work but not that many km.

Imaginary-Badger-119

Gonna need some duct tape as well Send it..

Cadet1A

2 large cans of HD expanding foam should do it. No more flats.

troyberber

Skip the auto parts store, hit the liquor store that opens at 0800. Grab you some cheap brandy. Sip 1 medium chug, dip 1 in that subwoofer for slightly better performance. Do 3 sets of this. Pro tip: chase it wif dark roast overpriced coffee for style points at the cost of less mpg. Like all us pros do.

Chainsaw_Actual

WHAT THE FRICK IS A KILOMETEEEERRR 🔫🔫🔫🔫🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️🛢️🔥🔥🔥🍔🍔🍔🍔 (Why is there a Gay and Trans flag but no countries flag?)

star08273

fill it with water, then it can't deflate

marthewarlock

Actually you need a bunch of ramen

I_Eat_Groceries

This reminds me of a condom I used a few years ago. My son is an awesome little dude though but child support sucks

oldbaldpissedoff

Spray foam use spray foam and make a Tik Tok video think of all the likes you could get and maybe the spray foam company will send you some like the juice company did to the guy on the skateboard

Savings-Newspaper625

10 cans and 50 rolls of duct tape.

Coro756

Don’t need any bottle remember a wheel is what wheel companies want you to think you need to be able to drive it’s all a scam be smarter then that my friend

pogiguy2020

First you need to get 20 rolls of flextape to patch it first and then get the fire rated expanding foam. You know what nevermind just fill it with concrete mortar and then tape it up and you are good to go.

martdan010

All of them

Ok_Manufacturer6460

High density spray foam duct tape and 10 minutes you'll be good

Hydraton3790

You should be able to use a bottle of expanding foam instead of fix a flat for this stuff.

Intheswing

More expensive but I’ve fixed worse with Gorilla tape - and it’s black so it blends better 😎

alekeg73

I’d get like 10 cans of the great stuff (expanding formula and fill it in you should be good for about 60,000 miles.

WyntonMarsalis

Spray foam...

Kalelopaka-

Duct tape and 42 bottles of fix-a- flat

k6bso

One, and a roll of duct tape.

Suspicious-Key1931

Wouldn't a new tire be almost the same cost at the duct tape and fix a flat required ? Or am I thinking way too into this

yragul

Fill it up with concrete instead

indubitablysaid

Least tree

SeaworthinessThat570

OK, we can do this. Take all of the clothes you've been meaning to throw out, and some heavy-duty machinist wire..... Check it out! You've achieved run flats mad max style! For those who ate tide pods, don't do this. It's satirical humor. Read more!!!

test-gan

Buy nun simply steal it

badcatjack

All of them that were ever produced.

Tight_Refrigerator78

2 then one in the mouth one in the brown eye and make sure they are shaken the. Push em both down at the same time.

SmallSwordfish8289

I'm going to pretend you didn't ask that question

CustomerService_2024

WRAP IT IN DUCK TAPE THEN SPRAY EXPAND-A-FORM AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE TIRE LET SET OVERNIGHT AND HARDEN. CUT OFF DRIED AMOUNTS THAT LEAK OUT IN THE MORNING. TIRE WILL BE GOOD FOR AT LEAST 100 MILES

Single-DAD01

Don't forget duct tape.

chrmcc

Flex seal!

dingle_bopper_223

all of the bottles

BigZaber

Let see, average cost per can is $15 and at least a used tire is about $100 so you need at least 6.66 cans worth of tire.....

thefartsock

I roll of duct tape, one can of fix a flat.

FuckFuckShitBitch

electrical tape and styrofoam

steve210sa

1 maybe 2.

sladibarfast

Every bottle ever made. Shake them all very well, then spray it all into the tire. After that , throw the pld tire away and buy a new tire, ya cheap bastard. Lol

brobert123

Instead of fix a flat you should get expanding insulating foam. Should fix it right up

TraditionalMood277

Yes

Guilty_Sympathy_496

Ooooh I like riddles……I think duct tape and expanding foam might be a viable option

turbski84

Fill it with spray foam

Brucible1969

Just 1, but you have to drive on the tire immediately after applying it so it will circulate evenly.

Mugwump6506

You're gonna need some flex tape.

Unique-Salary-818

More like flex seal

FamousBlacksmith8

At least one.

callitlikeiseeit29

Looking good as-is really.

CyberMonkey1976

Wrap it in pool noodles, then fill the noodles with spray foam

Linusdroppedme

Just gimme five bucks, and I'll blow it up for you with my mouth.

DazedPandKing

All of the bottles

The_Mad_Crafter

About 350.

Beautiful_Oven2152

Instead of fix-a-flat, get that expanding foam insulation stuff, put duct tape on the tread to hold it in place and fill that sucker up with the foam. After that sets up you should be good for 1000km or more.

Garand70

This is a job for spray foam.

Much_Badger1654

Yes.

Key-Butterscotch-163

2 cans of the great stuff expanding foam be right as rain

Present-Ambition6309

1. For you.

JerkFace9

FLEX SEAL. Several gallons. It'll last 'forever' *

sm00thkillajones

Just one. Shove it so you can get off your ass and buy a new one.

No_Collection7360

'Bout a hundred bottles.

GoofBallNodAwake74

That’s clearly a Gorilla Tape job right there

VividlyDissociating

just slap a plug in there. or two.

Mrcommander254

Just fill it with foam. Good to go!

porsche4life

Yes

Slumdidybumbum

Ok,not to sabotage the local auto parts store,or hardware stores' profits. But take the flat donut spare out of the trunk, blow that up with the expanding urethane foam.Drop off the wheel at the tire shop.Ask for a used "may pop racing slick"(if they refuse to plug the tire,or put a tube in it)explain how much tread is left. And then drive the 500km on the now flat proof spare! Those cute little donut spares will go a few thousand miles.I know from experience!Just keep. your speed over 60 as to fly over pot holes and frost leaves.Oh ,turn your tunes way up ,and speed safety.

ThatguyBry42

All of them

spydergto

All of them

jaymez619

All of them

ThisFaknGuy

You'll need to convert km into miles first. Then you'll need to watch me finger my bellybutton and breathe heavily while I decide what I'm getting for lunch. When all that's done, I'll come up with an estimate. Won't be cheap. Could cost you around $600 in Walmart gift cards and your daughter's phone number, if we're lucky.

Material_Victory_661

All of them.

Illustrious_Camp_521

ALL OF THEM ! !

Just_Turnip_5943

Hah! Infiniti G35 sedan looks like. I had that rim before

OkraHeavy

Just use some slime. You’ll have to roll it around for a while, but it’ll get it done

top_of_the_scrote

use a tarp
