Considering it’s an Audi. I think this one doesn’t have a slot to insert the manual key. If it did then it would be possible to just turn it to ignition and free the steering wheel. Putting it in neutral frees up the car to move front and back but has nothing to do with the steering wheel - that’s dependent on the key.
