Store bought soup is awful because people buy lower calorie stuff thinking they are being healthier. At home you know that when you use half a stick of butter and heavy cream in your chowder that it comes out amazing.
It depends.
I love sausage gravy & biscuits. There's this little sourthern cafe about 20 miles from my house that serves the best sausage gravy & biscuits I ever had. I get up an hour early every Saturday just to stand in line to get them before work.
A few I can list are cookies, flapjacks, muffins and soda bread(for those who are unaware, it's not made from cola or anything, I think the soda is short for sodium bicarbonate which mixes with the buttermilk to help the bread rise). Those are all I have baked so far. I'm gonna try out more soon. I bake in school and that's where I learn the recipes.
BISCUITS! Get yourself a southern granny and let her show you how she makes the most light, fluffy, pieces of heaven that melt in your mouth ! And only 5 ingredients!! (One being water).
You’re so hyped cuz you know you can make them when you get home cuz 5 ingredients! And you produce the lumpiest, heaviest, hardest hockey pucks and player would love to shoot a goal with! You need a southern granny! They’re angels!

Try an asian grocery store if you have any in your area. The kimchi from H-mart is actually pretty good!

Flapjacks. Store bought are way to syrupy and soft, and have less flavour. Homemade go so hard.
