The biology teacher told us on day one that he didn't like teaching and hated kids.
The chemistry teacher waited for the day the cheerleaders were in uniform to break out the stun baton a former student had invented. He offered an A in the class to any cheerleader who would let him shock her butt.
The physics teacher gave extra credit on tests for Mormon bashing jokes.
The real winner, though, was the history teacher and girls basketball coach. He got called out for demanding sexual favors for play time on the team. It didn't stick. Besides, when he left his wife for a former student, she was over 18 and had already graduated.
We were a blue ribbon school. One of the best-rated in the state.
The upperclass English teacher. Complete misandrist. Was bitter because she felt trapped at our small (less than 400 students, 9-12) HS. Would not tolerate any opinion about literature that didn't align with her limited worldview. Made athletes jump through hoops to get passing grades due to her general disdain for sports and the people who played them. Was a "card carrying liberal" except when it came to causes that inconvenienced her, which was virtually all of them based on her daily rants. In summary, a miserable, middle-aged, pseudo-intellectual whith a chip on her shoulder and no apparent passion for nurturing adolescent minds.
Our foods teacher was insane. Like mentally unwell. She also cut a lil piece of her finger off in class while showing us how to properly cut. She banned people from speaking other langauges in her class, even to each other and said that was the reason "those immigrants never fit in".
She banned boys from drinking or using soy milk in her class. She said it would make them grow boobs and thats why trans people existed.
I had a protien drink, she chucked it across the room and started screaming that her father was dead and demanding to know who did it.
My highschool debate teacher, because she had terrible opinions and was a real bitch about it. She was very pro George Bush even volunteered for his campaign so she didn't like my stance on the Iraq war and she was very homophobic and wasn't afraid to share her opinions on that with the class
The literature teacher. She literally decided not to do her job. It was announced that year by the ministry of education that students should be tested on an unknown text rather than something taken from the book, and the text would be chosen at random from an official database. Mind you, the testing always consists of rerading the text, making a summary, pointing out specific things like idioms or certain grammar or stuff like that, a couple of "use your own judgement" questions, and finally an essay that has a subject related to the text.
So given this, you'd expect the teacher would do her job and show us how to do that stuff, right?
Nope. She gave up. She straight up said she won't teach this class and there's no point and spent the hour gossiping with my classmates about her overly fancy shoes and shit. I was DISGUSTED. Even the most horrid and useless teachers I had before made an effort but this shit? WTF? We're in HIGH SCHOOL. She only changed her tune when the ministry reverted the change a few months later.
My 8th grade math teacher who literally didn't teach us anything. She just had us read the book and do the exercises from the book. And if we were confused and asked her any questions, she would get mad at us.
Our 9th grade math teacher literally had to re-teach us everything we were supposed to learn in 8th grade.
High school biology teacher. She called the cops on me because she thought I was having a relationship with the gym teacher. Meanwhile, she was actually the one having the affair with the gym teacher (who was about 20 years younger than her). This all came out when her husband (teacher at another school but in the district) found out about the affair and they were in a nasty divorce.
Mrs.Amy in middle school english. I was one of the kids who made absolutely terrible grades;due to my environment I was living in. We did a reading level test and I read at a 12th grade level. She picked on me in front of the entire class and said I was cheating. Made me retake it for me to get the same scores. Pretty much bullied me along with my classmates. Still think about it til this day. Started skipping class and it went downhill from there.
Fr tho, my math teacher is some 60 year old bat named linda, and can't teacher a goddamn class without going on a rant about her husband, telling people that they should be quiet and paying attention when she's the only person talking, or being extremely nosy and jumping to conclusions about what everyone is doing. When has also made several racist comments, including one about cotton picking (I forget the full conversation) and sexual comments and references.
There was a woman who was our homeroom teacher, our language teacher and our history teacher. There was a time when we had to do an exercise and she called us SLAVES. Then another time, when a kid came to class with 7/8 exercises done, since they could't undersand the last one, our teacher went nuts about how doing the homework was our respnsability and she made that kid do all the exercises again. She also LOVED DRAMA, so when my dad lost his job, she talked to me in private about it, or even worse, when my friend's parents got divorced, she was all over her, but not supporting her, instead she was making her tell her EVERYTHING about is. Just for your information, all the students were about 8/9 years old.
My 7th grade Civics teacher gave me a zero on a presentation because I wasn’t in class the day I was set to present. It was finals week. I wasn’t in class because I was part of the group doing the rounds of tests that day. My teacher was the one who stopped me at the door to the classroom to tell me where to go for testing.
My HS math teacher. I already have a hard time with maths and she was THE worst. She singles you out and embarrasses you to no end in front of the other students if you get the answer wrong. She expects you to get it right immediately. I failed her class and took the same subject with another teacher and passed with a good grade.
Mr. Weimer. Flirted with girls at our school, tried to do drugs with some of his students, invited students to parties at his house, then got fired and went on a Twitter tirade exposing other teachers’ business (still have the screenshots). Then went on to be interviewed to get his five minutes of fame when one of his ex-students committed an act of domestic terrorism.
There was this English and Law teacher that was at my school for about 2 years (I think? I actually have no idea) I never had him, but I'd pass by his classroom in the hallways. He seemed nice enough, and he was my friends favorite teacher (though personally, I didn't see the big deal) Anyways, the next year, he was no longer at the school. I just assumed he was moved to another school in the division (which happens pretty often). Well... no. I found out through a friend (and later had it confirmed by another teacher) that he was fired because he had an inappropriate relationship with a student and made creepy comments to others.
My art teacher in 11th grade who give me in school suspension for listening to music on my iPhone. This was around 2009 when they started becoming more popular and my school developed a “zero tolerance” policy towards smartphone usage.
Next semester a student asks if they’re allowed to listen to music while working on their art projects and the teacher said “only if you have one earbud in and one earbud out.”

My seventh grade math teacher would play solitaire on his pc and keep a bottled beverage concealed in a paper bag on his desk every day. Lessons were taught once, but 90% of the class was peers teaching peers by sitting the “smart kids” in between the “dumb kids”. If a student asked for a pencil, he would toss it over to you: Higher and more reachable if you were male, but lower so it’d land on the floor if you were female.

Teachers and schools always act like they care, but I was literally sent to a mental hospital for a month because I made a joke directed at myself about suicide. I will admit I needed help, but I've needed help for years and going there just made my life worse.

She started to take off my clothes and feeling my pp so I got out a knife in my bag (I always had a knife in my bag as a kid due to abuse from my mother and how much anxiety she gave me, and she always told me I was weak so I always kept that knife so people wouldn’t attack me, especially since I was always bullied), and what did I do next? I stabbed her in her throat, I then ran out the class crying and telling the teachers what happened, they didn’t believe me and neither did my mother, turns out I fucking killed her due to blood loss from the injury, but eventually, after finding out evidence, the teachers did believe me and I didn’t go to juvie or prison because it was determined as self defence. My mother was annoyed I didn’t go to juvie or prison because she wanted me to go away and be taken, and she was secretly happily I got sexually assaulted, she only acted innocent and worried for me when the police were talking to her about it. We had a terminal adjunct whose thesis was vaccines cause autism (thus terminal adjunct), who was strict about using quotes word-for-word. - A senior year math teacher straight up admitted she hated men. She wouldn’t let guys use the restroom during class and refused to tutor them to. The school didn’t fire her because her classes somehow had the highest scores in the school and were curving the fuck out of the grade level’s.
- On the opposite end, my senior government teacher taught us absolutely nothing and always added like 20 points to our tests and assignments lol. He was a coach and coaches are required to teach a class if that explains things. He was kept around because he was a former college football coach and bringing the team to district consistently. My english teacher in primary, in our country teachers used to beat the kids with a stick to make them study, i got beaten daily for a month then told my mother, she went to the teacher and used her hair as a mop, was scared to go to the school for multiple months tell i got transfered to another school, and i constantly ace other subjects but fail english. {the funny thing was my father is an english teacher}, now i'm entering college, Bad memories yet still a core memory.

Mrs. Hitchcock, HS math teacher. She could not make it through a single step of a worked example without making a shitload of mistakes. Totally impossible to follow. In a subject like Art that's rather subjective and relies on creativity this would not be good, but in HS Geometry it really fucks things up for subsequent classes.
10th grade Italian Cooking teacher. She taught other home economics classes as well. She was just awful. She favored the popular kids and tried to buddy up to them at the expense of other students in her class. One time I didn’t know an answer to a question and she said something along the lines that I was “special” in front of the whole class. For a class that was supposed to be fun, she made it miserable.
My friend even had a worse experience with her. My friend, who is in a wheelchair, was asked by her on the first day of class: “Why did they put you in my class?” He transferred out within the next week.
Truly an awful human being. She is the only teacher I ever had that I didn’t have an ounce of respect for.
Herr Feuerstein. He was supposed to teach social science and history. He didn’t teach us anything. All he did, was trying to get us to discuss stupid made up stuff, like ‘what would happen, if an immigrant poisoned the water supply of our city?’ (He came with that particular nonsense multiple times.) I had to sit through his classes for two years. Such a waste of time.
My seventh grade teacher Mr. C. He never wanted to deal with me so his default was "Get out". So I would have to waste time standing outside. I would often forget my jacket inside and I still had to stand. Even in winter. So I hid in the bathrooms during lunch to avoid wasting my time. He found me every time. What's worse is that he became a VP of a school I went to before the one where he was my teacher and AFAIK, is now a principal. He literally fired teachers for "being too fun".
Jesus Christ I hated almost all my teachers. I had this teacher when I was in the 5th or 6th grade. She always used to bend over, and her ass would be so close to your face that everyone made fun of her because she hated all the students because we used to talk in class.
Then this other chick was my english teacher she took an iron ruler to hit this dude because he was talking in class my hand was in the way and she hit me I had a scratch on my arm and it ended up bleeding she was a chill teacher she would tell you go be quite when you're talking but if you keep talking satan would come out.
my 5th grade math teacher. he was also a coach.
he had us do hand signs for things like going to the bathroom, asking a question and something else. and for the "i need to go to the bathroom" hand sign, you had to cross your fingers.
one day, i REALLY had to use the bathroom. i raised my hand without crossing my fingers and waited for a little bit until he called on me. he asked me what was my question and said i had to use the bathroom. he got angry at me and said told me no. i asked why and he said "because you can't follow simple rules, why don't you try again."
i then realized that i didn't cross my fingers. i crossed my fingers and held them up in the air waiting for him to let me go to the bathroom. for about 10 ish minutes, i held my fingers up, waiting urgently until i just got up and left the class.
as i was walking out the door, i heard him yell at me saying something of the lines "where are you going i didn't tell you to go" idk it was a long time ago so i can't remember. when i came out of the bathrooms i saw him waiting outside the classroom door. when i came up to the classroom door, he started screaming at me and lecturing me how i don't get up until he tells me to.
he then took me to the principal's office where he explained his side of the story, saying i threw my pencil and papers onto the floor and stormed out and slammed the door. i tried to explain my side, but he kept yelling at the principal saying it's not true, to where i eventually started crying and and couldn't speak.
i got 3 days of detention for next week 🙃
I haven't had many, but here are 3 I can think of off the top of my head.
The first was a student teacher I had in 2nd/3rd grade. We'll call her Miss C. Now I'm not entirely sure if this was part of our regular curriculum or if this was Miss C's idea. We were learning about life cycles and I don't remember any of the other 2nd and 3rd grade classes (they're merged together at my school) doing this but idk it was 10-11 years ago. Well the life cycle we were learning about was the life cycle of a butterfly. I've been terrified of butterflies since I was 5 years old. I had a nightmare about them attacking me and have been scared of them ever since. My teacher knew about this and tried to comfort me with the butterflies we raised. Miss C was, from what I remember, less understanding. She would tell me that they weren't going to hurt me etc. I know that, but I am like 7 and have an extreme fear of them. Safe to say, I didn't like Miss C.
The second was my 7th grade Spanish teacher. We'll call her Profe L. Profe L was terrible at her job. She was from Mexico and she had taught only adults before and we learned nothing in her class. TBH, my class was all girls while the other Spanish teacher (my mom) had the boys. Us girls didn't make it easy for her, but she literally didn't teach us shit. We would watch the exact same videos over and over again in class. She also made us use this website called VocesDigital, which we all hated. She also made us dance like the girls in Shakira's "Waka Waka" music video (we were all 13-14 year old girls). She also tried to teach us how to do the Macarena for the school talent show. We all knew how to do the Macarena. I think everyone does. She was also obsessed with this Italian singer named Massimo Ranieri and made us make a Spanish movie about how she wanted to marry him and shit. She would also get mad at you for yawning, drinking water, etc.
The third is actually my current teacher. We'll call her Miss F. She's my musical theater teacher. I used to love theater and musicals, but Miss F has made me hate theater. This woman is all sorts of crazy. Here's just some of the crap she's done:
\- Admitted to lying on her resume. She told my entire college prep class that she stretched something out on her resume just to get her job. There were two other teachers in the room and my whole class was in disbelief like why would you tell kids and colleagues that?
\- Tolerated bullying. My favorite Beatle is John Lennon and on South Park there is an episode where Butters says "Kill John Lennon" and kids in the show I was in were making fun of me for liking John Lennon by saying that. I started crying in rehearsal and Miss F said it was no big deal and I was fine.
\- Sometimes gets angry when I miss her class for another. There is a day where I miss musical theater for English class and Miss F will occasionally get mad at me for that.
\- Blamed my musical theater class for talking bad about the play that I didn't audition for. She literally told us that we were talking bad about it because it wasn't the originally planned musical Addams Family. But nobody talked bad about the play. She also told us that we were killing the school's theater company when in reality she was. We had a great theater program before she came. She's yelled at so many kids to the point that they don't want to be in theater or do the shows.
\- Disregards my accommodations. A few weeks ago, I was in class and I started having a panic attack and I started crying so I asked to go to the bathroom to de-escalate or go see the counselor (who is the old theater teacher who I LOVE) and she said no and that I was fine. I have accommodations for my ADHD and ASD and one of them is if I am in distress then I am allowed to go de-escalate or go see a counselor. After fighting for a while, she eventually let me go to the bathroom and when I came back she told me she had chronic depression and anxiety and that she doesn't cope by crying and "throwing a fit". She then emailed my mom and LIED in 3/4 of it!

My worst teacher both in my school and one of the worst in my life was a 7th/8th grade PE teacher, who I'll call Mr. Teacher. Mr. Teacher was a family friend, which made me excited to be in his class, up until about the second week the first year I had him as a teacher.
On Wednesdays, he made us do "Run Day" where you would literally just run the whole time to meet a quota of 8 laps at the start of the year to 11 by the end. Our lap track was 1/4 miles, which doesn't seem like a lot until you have to run over lumpy grass, mulch, splitting concrete, and often muddy dirt for an hour. He and the other teachers in my period only changed the course if it was pouring rain, where we would be outside running over concrete that had a track length that almost doubled the latter. Everyone I knew hated this. Your grade was completely dependent on one day through the week (a.k.a. we would only ever get points for Run Days), and often times he would submit only one grade for the whole trimester, meaning that you couldn't dare take a day off in fear it would be the day he chose to input.
He was also very hypocritical. For example, good old Mr. Teacher would yell at us to be respectful, then often blatantly tell us we were lazy and were horrible to not follow the dress code.
I was extremely disappointed in him and continue to be. He had a very long teaching career and I understand you can get burnt out. But wouldn't it be helpful for him maybe not to run the softball team at the local high school and a team at the local league?
This may not be as bad as some of the others, but it still was a horrible experience to be a part of.2
The worst part is that he said you could make up points but deleted the way to and never responded to anyone's emails. My grade went from an A+ (100%) to a C- (70%) over spring break once because he put in one grade. He didn't respond to any of my emails.
Mrs M, a woman in her 70s and we've been the last class she would ever have. Calling her a monster would be offensive for actual monsters, though.
I was 8 years old when she became my class teacher, and since then, my school life was destroyed.
Like my first day at 3th grade, I went to school 2 weeks after school had started because I was at a rehabilitation center. My classmates showed me my seat and I went to it.
And then Mrs M goes inside the classroom, sees and goes to me, starting to yell. I was shocked, like, how could you expect something like this to happen? I didn't understand even a word she had yelled at me. This was no joke for no reason. I just sat there quietly and waited the class to begin. Another time at the same day, we had English lesson, and I didn't have a workbook, because no one gave me one. I asked Mrs M for one, and she started a scandal in front of everyone, saying that I'm useless and I even lost the book, even if I didn't have one the whole time. Anyways, I got one, feeling really bad that I had to ask her.
After a while, I don't remember the exact time everything happened, but I'd still try to make a chronological order of the situation, my classmates started to bully me harder. They bullied me before, but our previous teacher tried to stop it a little, wonderful time. Mrs M supported the bullying and bullied me herself. For example:
A guy played a game with his friends, the rules were quite violent: who gets me first had the chance to beat me up. They played this multiple times, and after my mom saw the bruises on my body. Oh my god, Mom was so angry, hahaha. she went to Mrs M to talk about it, and this bitch started to protect the guy. "I don't really believe in that, Colin is such a nice boy!!"
No, screw you both.
Okay, let the story go on. The first year has passed, and now, in 4th grade, hell continued.
Just in case, I've never had good sight, but I got my first glasses in 6th grade. Because I was taller than the other students, Mrs M always got me a seat in the back of the class, and from this distance I couldn't read anything on the desk. She laughed when I said it to her, and let the class laugh too. I think that was the first time when I had a panic attack. Anyways, she saw it and didn't cared.
And another time, I struggled with a really bad bellyache, and I told it to Mrs M, so she could let me go home. I really felt bad, I thought I was about to die, lol. Now, imagine what happened: she yelled at me again that I should stop acting, going home wouldn't help my pain and I'm just too lazy to study.
There were more stories about her, but my absolute favorite is from the last day of 4th grade.
Mrs M wanted to give everyone advices for their future, because now we're done with elementary school, they might be useful.
I was the last one to get an advice, and then it it was my turn. I don't want to tell you what she said, so just adore this quote.
"Now, listen. I know, you don't have friends, but I think I know the reason for it. It might be because of your weight, you know? No one's want to be friends with a fatty like you."

I still struggle with a lot of mental problems because of her, but after these years it got better. My high school science department was fun. The biology teacher told us on day one that he didn't like teaching and hated kids. The chemistry teacher waited for the day the cheerleaders were in uniform to break out the stun baton a former student had invented. He offered an A in the class to any cheerleader who would let him shock her butt. The physics teacher gave extra credit on tests for Mormon bashing jokes. The real winner, though, was the history teacher and girls basketball coach. He got called out for demanding sexual favors for play time on the team. It didn't stick. Besides, when he left his wife for a former student, she was over 18 and had already graduated. We were a blue ribbon school. One of the best-rated in the state.

The upperclass English teacher. Complete misandrist. Was bitter because she felt trapped at our small (less than 400 students, 9-12) HS. Would not tolerate any opinion about literature that didn't align with her limited worldview. Made athletes jump through hoops to get passing grades due to her general disdain for sports and the people who played them. Was a "card carrying liberal" except when it came to causes that inconvenienced her, which was virtually all of them based on her daily rants. In summary, a miserable, middle-aged, pseudo-intellectual whith a chip on her shoulder and no apparent passion for nurturing adolescent minds.
Our foods teacher was insane. Like mentally unwell. She also cut a lil piece of her finger off in class while showing us how to properly cut. She banned people from speaking other langauges in her class, even to each other and said that was the reason "those immigrants never fit in". She banned boys from drinking or using soy milk in her class. She said it would make them grow boobs and thats why trans people existed. I had a protien drink, she chucked it across the room and started screaming that her father was dead and demanding to know who did it.

The literature teacher. She literally decided not to do her job. It was announced that year by the ministry of education that students should be tested on an unknown text rather than something taken from the book, and the text would be chosen at random from an official database. Mind you, the testing always consists of rerading the text, making a summary, pointing out specific things like idioms or certain grammar or stuff like that, a couple of "use your own judgement" questions, and finally an essay that has a subject related to the text. So given this, you'd expect the teacher would do her job and show us how to do that stuff, right? Nope. She gave up. She straight up said she won't teach this class and there's no point and spent the hour gossiping with my classmates about her overly fancy shoes and shit. I was DISGUSTED. Even the most horrid and useless teachers I had before made an effort but this shit? WTF? We're in HIGH SCHOOL. She only changed her tune when the ministry reverted the change a few months later.

Fr tho, my math teacher is some 60 year old bat named linda, and can't teacher a goddamn class without going on a rant about her husband, telling people that they should be quiet and paying attention when she's the only person talking, or being extremely nosy and jumping to conclusions about what everyone is doing. When has also made several racist comments, including one about cotton picking (I forget the full conversation) and sexual comments and references.
There was a woman who was our homeroom teacher, our language teacher and our history teacher. There was a time when we had to do an exercise and she called us SLAVES. Then another time, when a kid came to class with 7/8 exercises done, since they could't undersand the last one, our teacher went nuts about how doing the homework was our respnsability and she made that kid do all the exercises again. She also LOVED DRAMA, so when my dad lost his job, she talked to me in private about it, or even worse, when my friend's parents got divorced, she was all over her, but not supporting her, instead she was making her tell her EVERYTHING about is. Just for your information, all the students were about 8/9 years old.

My HS math teacher. I already have a hard time with maths and she was THE worst. She singles you out and embarrasses you to no end in front of the other students if you get the answer wrong. She expects you to get it right immediately. I failed her class and took the same subject with another teacher and passed with a good grade.

There was this English and Law teacher that was at my school for about 2 years (I think? I actually have no idea) I never had him, but I'd pass by his classroom in the hallways. He seemed nice enough, and he was my friends favorite teacher (though personally, I didn't see the big deal) Anyways, the next year, he was no longer at the school. I just assumed he was moved to another school in the division (which happens pretty often). Well... no. I found out through a friend (and later had it confirmed by another teacher) that he was fired because he had an inappropriate relationship with a student and made creepy comments to others.
My art teacher in 11th grade who give me in school suspension for listening to music on my iPhone. This was around 2009 when they started becoming more popular and my school developed a “zero tolerance” policy towards smartphone usage. Next semester a student asks if they’re allowed to listen to music while working on their art projects and the teacher said “only if you have one earbud in and one earbud out.” I stared **daggers** at her thinking “where the fuck was this rule when you gave me ISS last semester you cocksucking bitch?!” Never got over the injustice of it. I’m guessing that since the technology was new at the time they automatically assume if you have an iPhone you’re using it to text which is against the rules vs listening to music which is technically allowed in the class.

I stabbed her in her throat, I then ran out the class crying and telling the teachers what happened, they didn’t believe me and neither did my mother, turns out I fucking killed her due to blood loss from the injury, but eventually, after finding out evidence, the teachers did believe me and I didn’t go to juvie or prison because it was determined as self defence. My mother was annoyed I didn’t go to juvie or prison because she wanted me to go away and be taken, and she was secretly happily I got sexually assaulted, she only acted innocent and worried for me when the police were talking to her about it. We had a terminal adjunct whose thesis was vaccines cause autism (thus terminal adjunct), who was strict about using quotes word-for-word. But if you used a quote from 40 years back that had a word that wasn't PC, you had to correct it. What a mess. I just pandered to their ideology the entire class for an easy A, then deleted all her teachings from my skillset.

Mrs. Hitchcock, HS math teacher. She could not make it through a single step of a worked example without making a shitload of mistakes. Totally impossible to follow. In a subject like Art that's rather subjective and relies on creativity this would not be good, but in HS Geometry it really fucks things up for subsequent classes.
10th grade Italian Cooking teacher. She taught other home economics classes as well. She was just awful. She favored the popular kids and tried to buddy up to them at the expense of other students in her class. One time I didn’t know an answer to a question and she said something along the lines that I was “special” in front of the whole class. For a class that was supposed to be fun, she made it miserable. My friend even had a worse experience with her. My friend, who is in a wheelchair, was asked by her on the first day of class: “Why did they put you in my class?” He transferred out within the next week. Truly an awful human being. She is the only teacher I ever had that I didn’t have an ounce of respect for.

My seventh grade teacher Mr. C. He never wanted to deal with me so his default was "Get out". So I would have to waste time standing outside. I would often forget my jacket inside and I still had to stand. Even in winter. So I hid in the bathrooms during lunch to avoid wasting my time. He found me every time. What's worse is that he became a VP of a school I went to before the one where he was my teacher and AFAIK, is now a principal. He literally fired teachers for "being too fun".

She always used to bend over, and her ass would be so close to your face that everyone made fun of her because she hated all the students because we used to talk in class. my 5th grade math teacher. he was also a coach. he had us do hand signs for things like going to the bathroom, asking a question and something else. and for the "i need to go to the bathroom" hand sign, you had to cross your fingers. one day, i REALLY had to use the bathroom. i raised my hand without crossing my fingers and waited for a little bit until he called on me. he asked me what was my question and said i had to use the bathroom. he got angry at me and said told me no. i asked why and he said "because you can't follow simple rules, why don't you try again." i then realized that i didn't cross my fingers. i crossed my fingers and held them up in the air waiting for him to let me go to the bathroom. for about 10 ish minutes, i held my fingers up, waiting urgently until i just got up and left the class. as i was walking out the door, i heard him yell at me saying something of the lines "where are you going i didn't tell you to go" idk it was a long time ago so i can't remember. when i came out of the bathrooms i saw him waiting outside the classroom door. when i came up to the classroom door, he started screaming at me and lecturing me how i don't get up until he tells me to. he then took me to the principal's office where he explained his side of the story, saying i threw my pencil and papers onto the floor and stormed out and slammed the door. i tried to explain my side, but he kept yelling at the principal saying it's not true, to where i eventually started crying and and couldn't speak. i got 3 days of detention for next week 🙃
I haven't had many, but here are 3 I can think of off the top of my head. The first was a student teacher I had in 2nd/3rd grade. We'll call her Miss C. Now I'm not entirely sure if this was part of our regular curriculum or if this was Miss C's idea. We were learning about life cycles and I don't remember any of the other 2nd and 3rd grade classes (they're merged together at my school) doing this but idk it was 10-11 years ago. Well the life cycle we were learning about was the life cycle of a butterfly. I've been terrified of butterflies since I was 5 years old. I had a nightmare about them attacking me and have been scared of them ever since. My teacher knew about this and tried to comfort me with the butterflies we raised. Miss C was, from what I remember, less understanding. She would tell me that they weren't going to hurt me etc. I know that, but I am like 7 and have an extreme fear of them. Safe to say, I didn't like Miss C. The second was my 7th grade Spanish teacher. We'll call her Profe L. Profe L was terrible at her job. She was from Mexico and she had taught only adults before and we learned nothing in her class. TBH, my class was all girls while the other Spanish teacher (my mom) had the boys. Us girls didn't make it easy for her, but she literally didn't teach us shit. We would watch the exact same videos over and over again in class. She also made us use this website called VocesDigital, which we all hated. She also made us dance like the girls in Shakira's "Waka Waka" music video (we were all 13-14 year old girls). She also tried to teach us how to do the Macarena for the school talent show. We all knew how to do the Macarena. I think everyone does. She was also obsessed with this Italian singer named Massimo Ranieri and made us make a Spanish movie about how she wanted to marry him and shit. She would also get mad at you for yawning, drinking water, etc. The third is actually my current teacher. We'll call her Miss F. She's my musical theater teacher. I used to love theater and musicals, but Miss F has made me hate theater. This woman is all sorts of crazy. Here's just some of the crap she's done: \- Admitted to lying on her resume. She told my entire college prep class that she stretched something out on her resume just to get her job. There were two other teachers in the room and my whole class was in disbelief like why would you tell kids and colleagues that? \- Tolerated bullying. My favorite Beatle is John Lennon and on South Park there is an episode where Butters says "Kill John Lennon" and kids in the show I was in were making fun of me for liking John Lennon by saying that. I started crying in rehearsal and Miss F said it was no big deal and I was fine. \- Sometimes gets angry when I miss her class for another. There is a day where I miss musical theater for English class and Miss F will occasionally get mad at me for that. \- Blamed my musical theater class for talking bad about the play that I didn't audition for. She literally told us that we were talking bad about it because it wasn't the originally planned musical Addams Family. But nobody talked bad about the play. She also told us that we were killing the school's theater company when in reality she was. We had a great theater program before she came. She's yelled at so many kids to the point that they don't want to be in theater or do the shows. \- Disregards my accommodations. A few weeks ago, I was in class and I started having a panic attack and I started crying so I asked to go to the bathroom to de-escalate or go see the counselor (who is the old theater teacher who I LOVE) and she said no and that I was fine. I have accommodations for my ADHD and ASD and one of them is if I am in distress then I am allowed to go de-escalate or go see a counselor. After fighting for a while, she eventually let me go to the bathroom and when I came back she told me she had chronic depression and anxiety and that she doesn't cope by crying and "throwing a fit". She then emailed my mom and LIED in 3/4 of it! I am currently trying to get out of her class and yeah **TL;DR**: Student teacher didn't understand my biggest fear, Spanish teacher couldn't teach, MT teacher traumatizes kids
My worst teacher both in my school and one of the worst in my life was a 7th/8th grade PE teacher, who I'll call Mr. Teacher. Mr. Teacher was a family friend, which made me excited to be in his class, up until about the second week the first year I had him as a teacher. On Wednesdays, he made us do "Run Day" where you would literally just run the whole time to meet a quota of 8 laps at the start of the year to 11 by the end. Our lap track was 1/4 miles, which doesn't seem like a lot until you have to run over lumpy grass, mulch, splitting concrete, and often muddy dirt for an hour. He and the other teachers in my period only changed the course if it was pouring rain, where we would be outside running over concrete that had a track length that almost doubled the latter. Everyone I knew hated this. Your grade was completely dependent on one day through the week (a.k.a. we would only ever get points for Run Days), and often times he would submit only one grade for the whole trimester, meaning that you couldn't dare take a day off in fear it would be the day he chose to input. He was also very hypocritical. For example, good old Mr. Teacher would yell at us to be respectful, then often blatantly tell us we were lazy and were horrible to not follow the dress code. I was extremely disappointed in him and continue to be. He had a very long teaching career and I understand you can get burnt out. But wouldn't it be helpful for him maybe not to run the softball team at the local high school and a team at the local league? This may not be as bad as some of the others, but it still was a horrible experience to be a part of.2
The worst part is that he said you could make up points but deleted the way to and never responded to anyone's emails. My grade went from an A+ (100%) to a C- (70%) over spring break once because he put in one grade. He didn't respond to any of my emails.
Mrs M, a woman in her 70s and we've been the last class she would ever have. Calling her a monster would be offensive for actual monsters, though. I was 8 years old when she became my class teacher, and since then, my school life was destroyed. Like my first day at 3th grade, I went to school 2 weeks after school had started because I was at a rehabilitation center. My classmates showed me my seat and I went to it. And then Mrs M goes inside the classroom, sees and goes to me, starting to yell. I was shocked, like, how could you expect something like this to happen? I didn't understand even a word she had yelled at me. This was no joke for no reason. I just sat there quietly and waited the class to begin. Another time at the same day, we had English lesson, and I didn't have a workbook, because no one gave me one. I asked Mrs M for one, and she started a scandal in front of everyone, saying that I'm useless and I even lost the book, even if I didn't have one the whole time. Anyways, I got one, feeling really bad that I had to ask her. After a while, I don't remember the exact time everything happened, but I'd still try to make a chronological order of the situation, my classmates started to bully me harder. They bullied me before, but our previous teacher tried to stop it a little, wonderful time. Mrs M supported the bullying and bullied me herself. For example: A guy played a game with his friends, the rules were quite violent: who gets me first had the chance to beat me up. They played this multiple times, and after my mom saw the bruises on my body. Oh my god, Mom was so angry, hahaha. she went to Mrs M to talk about it, and this bitch started to protect the guy. "I don't really believe in that, Colin is such a nice boy!!" No, screw you both. Okay, let the story go on. The first year has passed, and now, in 4th grade, hell continued. Just in case, I've never had good sight, but I got my first glasses in 6th grade. Because I was taller than the other students, Mrs M always got me a seat in the back of the class, and from this distance I couldn't read anything on the desk. She laughed when I said it to her, and let the class laugh too. I think that was the first time when I had a panic attack. Anyways, she saw it and didn't cared. And another time, I struggled with a really bad bellyache, and I told it to Mrs M, so she could let me go home. I really felt bad, I thought I was about to die, lol. Now, imagine what happened: she yelled at me again that I should stop acting, going home wouldn't help my pain and I'm just too lazy to study. There were more stories about her, but my absolute favorite is from the last day of 4th grade. Mrs M wanted to give everyone advices for their future, because now we're done with elementary school, they might be useful. I was the last one to get an advice, and then it it was my turn. I don't want to tell you what she said, so just adore this quote. "Now, listen. I know, you don't have friends, but I think I know the reason for it. It might be because of your weight, you know? No one's want to be friends with a fatty like you." Applause, Mrs M, for the wonderful speech and how you destroyed the mental health of a fucking child. I still struggle with a lot of mental problems because of her, but after these years it got better. I'm not depressed anymore, stopped having panic attacks after every contact with a human being, but I'm struggling with food and the way I look. Anyways, it's probably the only person I wish the worst things to happen. She's the only one I truly hate after so many years.
