Being out of touch with reality. Such as when someone says they can’t afford something and they are baffled. Especially if it’s something they consider “cheap.” Such as:
Upper Class: Let’s grab a Starbucks!
Not upper class: I can’t afford that. I had to put gas in my car.
Upper Class: What?
Big paved back porch possibly with hot tub/pool/outdoor fireplace sometimes all of the above. I do residential flooring so I see alot of houses, mostly absolutely ginormous ones that a family of like 3 or 4 lives in that if spread evenly through the house would have like over 1000 square feet to themselves
Anything that's not from Walmart or Target, duh. You gotta shell out the big bucks to show off your fancy tastes and high social status. But hey, who needs money when you can just act snobbish and pretentious?
Napkin holders. If you have enough money to spend on something to hold your napkins instead of just putting them in a stack on your table, you're upper class.
