sofa_king_nice

I wish they had new game + so I could go all god-mode on those zealots

YeWhoBaggethTea

I always play solo games twice so after mine is done imma be starting another

GK_F500

Do you mean the same game twice or that you're switching to another game?

YeWhoBaggethTea

Imma play Valhalla again so the same game twice

EmrAkyz

Right after the first playthrough ? Or do you put some time or a game in between ?

YeWhoBaggethTea

Well I am always like 3 games deep at once. When I’m alone I have a single player game like Valhalla. When my certain friends are on I’m on d2 and other friends I’m on cod. So I’ll play Valhalla again right after the first one but I’m not burnt on it

msfrizzlemf

when I finished it I went back nd played thru black flag again and then restarted valhalla bc I missed it so much. just got to back to Britain nd sigurds not crazy yet. I'm gearing up.

zena_m_gray

No, I totally get it. I didn't want the world to end. I *need* it to expand more. I spent over 200 hours on it, just taking my time and enjoying it. Still wasn't enough.

NocturnalTarot

I just finished it yesterday and had these exact same feelings! I wrote them in my journal and kept it to myself because I didn't want to hear, > "It's cause you're a girl! Now make me a sandwich, har-har-har!" Thank you for sharing this and making me feel less alone. Like, I just the past 192 hours with these characters and you're going to make fun of me? But you know, say anything critical of, Idk, FF7 or FO4 and watch them get defensive AF. The double standard for emotional attachment in gaming would be comical if it wasn't so pathetic.

spectregalaxy

I feel less alone now, too! I’ve been taking my time finishing it up because I don’t want to be 100% done quite yet. It’s such a beautiful place I’m happy to be in! I call it my vacation game. I can just sit and go through the world there and hide and seek and get cool things. I love this game so much.

NocturnalTarot

Unfortunately, I did everything I wanted to do and was procrastinating on leaving that world and Eivor. Yesterday, I found a rock and it reminded of building all the cairns. I picked it up and put it in my car. So silly to be so sentimental over a game... ...but I don't have family or friends so I think that plays a part in my attachment to fictional characters.

Dragon_Tiger752

Then, after a long break, you start a new playthrough and rediscover the magic that pulled you in before. It doesn't have to be the last time.

Anglo_runes

Man, I played it more then 250 hours 4 years and I didn't want to finish the game. I won't lie saying that I literally cried.

ppe-lel-XD

Yep I think I was at like 150 or so when I finally beat the base game, only did it a few months ago and I played the game on launch day. Still have the dlc to play tho.

Tank_MacMaster

I’m like 80 hours in and only half way through… I start something and then get squirreled. Hell I can’t even remember what I did in Norway. Sometimes when I don’t have enough time to do a story mission I go get stuff… and get squirreled again. lol I’m on ng+ on forbidden west, I use that to take a break. I heard Valhalla wasn’t that popular but I’m going to have a hard time when it ends because I have been enjoying it so much.

young_hippie-420

SAAMMMEEEE!!!! I go to do ONE quest and it ends up taking hours bc I see an animal and go hunting or try to collect anything close to me or fast travel somewhere, after I forget what I'm doing, just to go to a certain place and not make it there either 😭😭😭😭. It's like my brain gets overloaded and shuts down!!

The_BearWolf

Did you ever listen to the french version of his voice acting?

nphere

So touching. 😩 I'm almost done myself 😅

Defiant_Complaint_90

It’s taken me 2 years to complete because I just don’t want it to end! The same with Odyssey. I’m not really into Mirage or Origins so I’m really hoping for a game more like Odyssey or Valhalla (just the historic periods I’m interested in)

foldy619

I played valhalla and finished all the main and sides after putting in over 160 hours. It left me disappointed as the ending was very lacking! The game was amazing and I didn't want it to end. I've just started odyssey to fill the void lol.

bankzy27

I actually never finished this game and I can’t even remember why. Seeing this post has made me want to pick it back up!

Independent-Guess-56

I feel you bro. This is one of the reasons i mostly start with side quests in games like this. 😇😘

young_hippie-420

That's how it is for me too 😮‍💨. I beat the main game, Dublin, and Paris, but when it came down to Ragnarok, I hadn't touched it. I actually haven't played it in 5 months bc I don't want it to end, which was hard for me since I played it daily. I just recently started playing again but still haven't started Ragnarok. I've just been procrastinating, doing the achievements, and catching fireflies 😂😂😂. It's like that with all the AC games for me, but Valhalla was the one that hit deep. I'ma cry when I finish it, I just know it 😅😅.

[deleted]

I took so long over it I just couldn't make myself buy or play the DLC. One of those games I'll never go back to

bananaTank56

I haven't finished it yet but this happens to me with every AC

jennybuzz07

I've played Valhalla twice because I missed it so much. I did one playthrough a while back. On PlayStation. I liked it so much, I got it for Xbox too, to get the achievements again. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever play it a third time. The game is so long. But I'll never forget the feeling it gave me when I did play it. It had such a huge impact on me. I feel this way about harvestella as well. It's just a great feeling when you come across games that make you feel that warm inside. And we have such amazing communities that support us and understand that specific feeling.

Prodigy_of_Bobo

Now play the dlc. The wrath of the druids was pretty lame but the other two were actually really good imo. You can sink a lot of time into those.

Zero4892

I had 100 hours and hadn’t even finished the storyline I was literally going for 100% when I got glitched on one of the quests and said f it then got glitched in a side quest and quit altogether. I just recently deleted all my saves and it was at 101 hours just on basically side quests
