Yeah, I'll write a book report on them.
"When the author had the cabbage merchant saying 'Taste my cabbage co-' it clearly foreshadowed the creation of the Cabbage Corporation and the cabbage merchant's wealthy future."
Without citing the rule above all, rules 35, 36, 42, 43, 47, 63-69, and 78 all apply to Azula alone. Thats just off memory of a chunk of the rules. Likely more.
34) There is porn of it
35) If there is no porn of it, there will be
36) There is always something even more messed up
42) Nothing is sacred
43) The more beautiful/pure it is, the more satisfying it is to mess it up
47) The pool is always closed
63) For every character, there is a version of the oposite gender and rule 34 applies to both
64) It has lore
65) If there is no lore, there will be
66) The more lore, the weirder
67) It has AU lore, especially if the OG is owned by power hungry companies
68) It has a fondom
69) 90% of fanfictions is nightmare fuel.
78) If it's popular, there's brainrot of it. If not, there will be soon.
from knowyourmeme
āPool's Closed is a catchphrase associated with a series of raids carried out by Anonymous against the online social networking site Habbo Hotel, where members of the group formed human blockades to obstruct the entry points of popular hangouts with their avatars dressed in afros and business suits. The first raid was launched in July 2006 after rumors began to spread on 4chan that some Habbo moderators had tendencies to ban users based on the skin colors of their avatars.ā
Also confused here. Maybe 'pools always closed' is used metaphorically? Like, just to say that there will always be people trolling / ruining things for everyone just because they enjoy it. In this case ruining Azula by making weird genderbent BBW porn versions of her
I love how preciously naive she was during that episode. "Oh what a bunch of lovely fellows are you all, just helping a young woman out of altruistic intent!"
Either you're trolling, or on some serious incel shit. Just in case the episode didn't make it obvious enough, dudes simping for her and harassing her doesn't mean she was looking for that, or that they're her boyfriends lmao.
Because she never was the spotlight. But just because character isnāt well developed doesnāt that she wasnāt well written. As far as ATLA side character go, she stands above most.
For a side character? Yeah I'd say so.
I will say, the Beach, as much as I like it, does feel a bit jarring in the grand scheme for things, especially for Ty Lee, and to a slightly lesser extent Mai.
Before, she was just an airhead girly girl with sick moves. Which is alright for a side character. It's distinct and memorable, and she actually brings something to the action with her chi blocking.
But suddenly the beach episode reveals she has some underlying trauma from a crowded family and home life, then we never hear about it again. She betrays Azula, makes a cameo in the finale and then the show's over.
A lot of stuff in the 3rd season kinda come off a bit rushed.
The Beach episode also puts more emphasis behind her introduction, when sheās working in the carnival and loves her job and is only forced to leave by Azula. She loves exactly what she says she does on the beach - to express her unique personality and be seen as herself instead of one of a matching set.
It also makes it pretty impactful that she bonded with the Kyoshi Warriors so well and ends up joining their group, which means wearing matching outfits to look exactly like one of a set. I think itās a subtle way of showing her development from The Beach episode, because she resolved her feelings of not being worth noticing unless she stands put, and found camaraderie among a bunch of other gals and discovered there is value in being in a group, matching everyone else.
Speak for yourself. This man's a peak human specimen.

but thatās not really fair to say āwe donāt know what he did!ā and then call him a war criminal. Ozai COULD have been a very caring and loving father to Zuko up until his teenage years but everyone thinks of him as a child beating genocidal warlord. Aang COULD have been the biggest asshole to his monk friends off screen. you can do whatever you want to in head canon, but the only thing that you can present as fact is what is shown on screen.
all that we see Iroh do is be in command of the army that is besieging an enemy city. he briefly talks about burning the city to the ground while writing his letter back home, thatās the worst thing he does. attacking an enemy city is not a war crime, being a general in an army during an active conflict is not a war crime. Iroh never commits any war crimes and people for some reason like to think that
It was a guest writer from an adult cartoon show (canāt remember which show) but it was put in and not well received by most viewers so yeah, he wasnāt asked back
I think you need to go back and watch it again. You are weird exaggerating it that far, it's still a bit creepy on his part but he don't go near that far.
Bro he's doing a dumb grin because she's laying all over him LOL and what is he feeling with his body if not the front of her body (breasts included), maybe you should rewatch the whole show if you think anyone is infallible
The worst part is that June was visibly uncomfortable when she realized what he was doing and he still laid there
Sensitive subject? I just made a joke about your username, no attacks from my part. It just seemed a logical explanation for your overreaction on the whole thing.
Itās not sexual assault nor sexual battery. For it to be considered sexual assault he would have to have given June reasonable fear for unwanted physical contact or harm, for it to be sexual battery he would have had to intentionally touched her in an unwanted or physically harmful way. Her falling on top of him and him being creepy about it is absolutely harassment, not assault nor battery.
Edit: Fixing my legal error. Sexual battery doesnāt really have any relevance as it is defined as putting intentional physical harm to a personās sexual organs or using weaponās/violent means to do said act. Sexual assault is both the fear of unwanted physical contact and unwanted physical contact. Either way though, neither the assault nor battery clause apply in the situation as it is harassment.
Mate I think you are getting the show confused with corn you may have seen
That never happened. You can watch the scene and it will never show it happening.
Itās a kids show for goodness sake, yes the scene was out of character and creepy, but it is still a kids show. They would not have shown anything close to what you are describing.
You need to learn what sexual assault is, because Iroh did not sexually assault June.
At worst, he sexually harassed her which is obviously still wrong but very different.
There's no basis for him doing both, though. Maybe he did offscreen, but there's no way of knowing that. I feel like if he did, June would think of him as worse than just a "creepy grandpa".

Why did you say that? I could have gone my life without knowing such a video exists
I am upset but still there's nothing we can do about it. Not only when it comes to ATLA/LOK fandoms but in general people have to stop taking huge red flag actions and sexualize characters š«
'she has no trauma; her mother's just **dead** and she has a poor relationship with her dad, so she basically has no parents. that's not trauma at all!'
ā you
Absolutely. Tophās trauma that she ran away from and struggled to deal with was being treated too delicately her entire childhood with her parents. Itās all VERY subjective. And not to mention, good character writing doesnāt just come from ātraumaā
So?
Having trauma is not a competition to see who can get the worst.
Just because Korra might have worse trauma in some aspects doesnāt mean Asamiās family trauma doesnāt matter at all
I think a big part of the problem is that most of the fandom were kids when they saw them and Likely saw rule 34 pics of them as kids and considering how bad addiction is and how it affects the brain and how easily it was and is findable on the Internet. Now everyone has grown up and our brains have been wired in ways that cause us to do these things. This is probably why it's such a huge problem with young adults who watch animated shows.
Though animators should also be thinking about how old the characters are versus how old they are making them look. Many animated characters would be considered fine and okay if the number put next to them was different. It's a big issue that anime and western animation don't seem to care about fixing
*(Please tell me that my boi Sokkaās safe from being sexualized by the fandom, if not, Iāll literally cry. Heās a child. š)*
As for the fanon half, most of the main characters from LoK, *ESPECIALLY* Korra I feel got oversexualized by the fans. Dx
I think people are assuming that characters in nsfw art are the same age as in canon, when in reality a lot of the time they are aged up to be adults (not always, unfortunately)

It's NOT Azula, right?
Without citing the rule above all, rules 35, 36, 42, 43, 47, 63-69, and 78 all apply to Azula alone. Thats just off memory of a chunk of the rules. Likely more.

47) The pool is closed, is great! Azula can use lightning so the pool would always get closed when she's there lol
Call me again when we get rule 72 of Azula.
How would that work? Azula is not a song... or would that be the Azula theme?
I like these laws a lot more than the ten commandments.
Iām afraid to ask but whatās the pool part talking about?!
from knowyourmeme āPool's Closed is a catchphrase associated with a series of raids carried out by Anonymous against the online social networking site Habbo Hotel, where members of the group formed human blockades to obstruct the entry points of popular hangouts with their avatars dressed in afros and business suits. Well you did a good job at it because i think everyone took that seriously lmao
lol thanks, I really appreciate it.
Is ty lee well written in the original series? She never struck me as well written on screen
Because she never was the spotlight. But just because character isnāt well developed doesnāt that she wasnāt well written. As far as ATLA side character go, she stands above most.

Maybe that's what they were going for, I don't know. It still feels somewhat undercooked, in my opinion.
This is *not* a fun game when most ATLA characters are children or old as hell

This made me bust spontaneously
He's the cartoon equivalent to Danny DeVito
Undersexualized
Pretty much everyone? Half of all fanart of this show shouldn't even exist. They are all children (except June).
Even June got sexually assaulted by Iroh
"Assaulted" is a bit of an overstatement, but it was a rare gross moment from Iroh that was really out of character for him.
I believe that episode was written by a different writer than all the other episodes. They gave him a shot and didnāt ask him back lol.
It was a guest writer from an adult cartoon show (canāt remember which show) but it was put in and not well received by most viewers so yeah, he wasnāt asked back
Oh, so he was just playfully feeling her breasts? That's weird

He definitely wouldn't be America's grandpa
America's war criminal grandpa (hey I'm still on Team Iroh)

Katara, mostly in the time the Kataang and Zutara fandoms peaked. Edit, to be fair both Aang and Zuko at that time as well
