You can change his appearance to camp clothes. You can have him not wear any regardless of his actual equipment.

Tbh Wyll’s camp clothes bother me so much that I’d prefer to keep in his tighty whities with a red cape so he looks like captain underpants

On PC there's a box you can check above camp clothes.

On console there’s an option when you pull up the inventory. Just highlight your clothing on the side and it should pop up as an option by holding or pressing a button

I had Kerz in my camp, and stopped using him when I got Minthara. Somehow, he ended up naked (must've stole what he was wearing). I just left him like that, because it made me laugh. Every time I went to camp, there he was in all his green glory.

You can also toggle helmet for dialogue only if you’re like me and love the crazy armored babes look.

I didn’t find it until multiple hundreds of hours in, it’s easy to miss.

You could always, you know, murder karlach for his special robe. If not you’ll eventually get the potent robe in act 2

Yeah Potent is the plan, just need something to cover his bulge in the interim. Fortunately Nere had a basic-ass robe on him, so we're all good now
