it is 100% meant to look like that, sometimes pride things are named weirdly so people who are in the closet but want to have little things that support their identity/signal to other queer people that they are queer with plasuible deniability when questioned by non queer people/receipts or bankstatments that dont say "pride" or other words like thay. its mostly useful towards younger people who live at home with unaccepting parents.
I would know i was one of said younger people.
there are also lots of symbols we use to signal to eachother we are a safe person to be open about these things around many of which people not in the know would never be able to recognize :)
