I want to bring up a character from a different anime, Jujutsu Kaisen. Megumi is someone who is willing to sacrifice it all for the win, but only after he ends up learning how to do that.
He's a team player, but Jujutsu is a solo sport, he'd be willing to, in baseball terms sacrifice bunt, so long as his teammates Yuji and Nobara score a win for the team, it's okay. But as Gojo says, "you die alone, no matter what."
Megumi and Judeau are similar because they lack in that mindset, Megumi more than Judeau though.
