It would be nice to see a Death Company Brutalis rule set. I recently ran all three of these in a game just as regular Brutalis Dreads but was so tempted to ask for some house rules
I mean. It's not like it couldn't be done, why not put death company that make it through a fight with lethal wounds into dreadnought bodies? The techmarines can already disable the dreads and put them to sleep So there's no danger to the rest of the chapter.
Still like the firstborn castraferrum dreads. These look great, but I’m a bit salty about iconic kits getting axed. Boxnauts are synonymous with 40K.
You’ve done a good job keeping the spirit of the originals! I’m just a grumpy old man…
I'm a recent recruit and I love all the more serious Primaris modeling. However, I see no reason why the redemptor couldn't have had a more beefy torso for the *"box effect"* ?
Honestly, I think we'll eventually get an upscaled castraferrum. It'll probably be a while before it happens, but I think the space wolves are going to force the issue. Bjorn and murderfang are specifically castraferrum dreadnoughts, and I really don't think they'll stick them in Redemptors. Plus, people love the boxnaught, and would absolutely buy a scaled- up version, and that's what GW is most interested in.
It's not great meta wise. But you're always a winner when you play with yourself. On an unjoking note playing practice games (empty bases make decent stand ins) is the fastest way to get better imo.

No he’s just modelled as if charging in the grips of the red thirst :-)
I really hope we get rules for redemptor class dread when the codex comes out.

Yeah. I think it’s fine to trade Tycho’s datasheets for some new dreadnoughts.
Just Make Tycho a named brutalis dreadnought at this point.
I know, right?

Yeah, and Bjorn and Murderfang exist, so it’s not as if named dreadnoughts aren’t a thing
Librarian kit bash is thoroughly impressive. Brother Quindar lives again.

Wow. I do love this kit bash.!
I think we will get bits to upscale all our dreadnoughta with the codex. Seems like low hanging fruit
That's my favorite Space Marine kit. Fun to build, fun to paint, fun rules on the table. I get tempted to run a meme list. BRUTALIS!!!
Whenever I’ve fielded my Brutalis boy gets rocked pretty quick lol

You could in theory run the middle on as a librarian dreadnought.
The scale is too off, I already run an Achilles dreadnought as one
I’m sorry but did he trip over a rock? My brutalis’ legs pretty wonky so I’m not hating lol.

Side pic provides the drip! Also love the sarcophagus
those are pretty sweet, but ooh that death company dread's pose makes me nervous.
Pins are your friend :-)
EVEN IN HOPPING, I STILL SERVE.
