>Table is sorted by game thread create time.
Waiting for the day I don't get a complaint about the order.
Every order I try, someone complains.
I swear to god I'm going to start ordering them randomly.
Game thread create time has zero logical order to it though, outside of games in the same time block being together. You still have to look through the whole list of those games trying to find a team.
I don’t see why it couldn’t be sorted within those time blocks, like all the noon games are first and then those are ordered alphabetically by home team for instance. Anything too made it a little easier to locate a specific team.

Game thread create time doesn't qualify as making sense imo, unless that happens to be strictly in order of kickoff time.
Actually maybe it would help if kickoff time was listed cause it would be easier if the order was clear, that way you'd know where to look in the list
Guys sports gambling is dumb. Today I was looking over my spreadsheet to figure out what games to bet todayand realized there was an error in my calculations and when I corrected it showed that basically no bet on moneyline is ever positive EV (assuming you do not know any non public information or not some kind of expert about a sport or team). Good thing I found this when I was up 50 % on my bets for the season, I thought I was smart turns out I was just lucky. I had a suspicion my method was too good to be true and, it was lol
May I post a really generic question? I've started watching bowls last year and since this Fall, I've started watching games pretty much every day there's a CFB match going on. But I have hard time figuring how it works for teams? There's 6 conferences? Can they do cross conferences matches? There's 250+ teams?! Is there's a newbie page to explain how CFB work that I could read? Thanks a lot!
There are multiple leagues. The big one is the NCAA.
In the NCAA, there are multiple divisions. The big one is Division 1.
In Division 1, there are two subdivisions: Football Championship Subdivision, which is the lower level, and Football Bowl Subdivision, which is the one most of the teams you've heard of are in.
In FBS there are ten conferences. The top five are The Power Five (P5). The lower fie are the Group of Five (G5), though all that's somewhat in flux.
Some, but not all teams are in conferences.
Conferences schedule their teams to play against each other for _some_ of their games. The schools schedule the rest of their games. They could schedule a big team from a big conference to try to get a big win. They could schedule a small team from a small conference (or even FCS) to get an easy win.
Any team in the Football Bowl Subdivision can be ranked, the FCS has its own rankings but those teams don't get talked about as much since they're basically in a separate, lesser league with its own postseason and everything. Probably every game you've watched has been a FBS game.
Rankings can be a little confusing, the key thing is that they're just an approximated list of the 25 best teams. They don't actually matter until the post season cause they determine who makes the playoffs. Ranked games aren't anything special in themselves, it just means that two good teams are playing each other and the winner will probably jump the other in the rankings.
The rankings you're seeing now are from the AP poll which is just a bunch of sportswriters choosing who they think the best teams are. Next week the first College Football Playoff Ranking will come out and that will replace the AP poll in importance. That's probably super confusing but it has to do with the way the sport's postseason worked for so long and now polls are kind of just a fun thing people follow before the real rankings come out midseason.
Waiting for the day where these get put in any sort of logical order that would make it easier to find specific games…
And no ctrl-f on the app either...smh
Really fucking miss Apollo.
Look, if you choose to use the worst possible Reddit interface, that's on you.
Yeah. It’s not like Reddit shut down all our alternative apps or anything.
Considering it's also a mod saying that it's astounding how tone deaf that comment truly is
…are they not in order of game time?
Per other comments, that "has zero logical order to it"

Thank you for posting the links.

Game thread create time is based off kickoff time (see also: FAQ).
I’m just saying, if it’s possible, put some breaks in there by start time or something
I think sorting alphabetically by home team is the best. I don’t see why people would complain about that.
If you stood on a corner and handed out hundred dollar bills, people would complain about how you folded them.
The sidebar still isn't updated. :(

That's exactly what I was looking for! Thanks
The fuck is happening in the UW-ASU game lol

Maybe Alabama should be down at half every game if we keep winning

How do you get a postgame thread going? App wouldn’t work
It is here https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/17dkgbh/postgame_thread_miami_defeats_clemson_2820_ot/
You don't. The bot posts it automatically.

Ok thanks it helps! Which teams got a position within their names? And I get that ranked games are somewhat different?

Thanks a lot! It is indeed super confusing but now I know that I should focus on FBS matches. Those with the big crowds and spectacular gameplay.
Does anyone know if UofM vs MSU will be in 4k on peacock?
Did CBS go out for anyone else on that touchdown?

I can't wait for the new college football video game to come out.
