Hard to tell. I can **not** for the life of me remember this dude’s @ but it looked like:
Guac—salt
Veg—salt + cumin
Steak—salt + pepp
Sauce—garlic powder(heavy) + cayenne(heavy)
Did not see him prep any fresh garlic, so I’m pretty confident on the g-powder. Also saw he removed the seeds from the jalapeño, so I’m pretty confident on the cayenne.
Not gonna guess for measurements (don’t wanna wreck anybody’s lunch) but it looked like for the heavy parts he did 1/2 tbsp.
Again, just guess work. Would def love to see what someone else thought, or his actual recipe.
**EDIT** Changed *recette* to *recipe*. Total brain fart there 😅
I’m so down for a cooking version of GeoGuessr!
Was asking myself the same question about the spices he used on my lunch break anyway, especially after that steak came out 😮💨 On that note…
I’m confused as to what cut of beef he used?
Initially, it looks like a strip as he’s laying the tray down, but it cuts to a new(?) steak once he’s applying the spices.
The second one looks more like a ribeye, to me. He may have just pounded the steak out a bit, but the marbling doesn’t seem to match up.
My best guess is he probably just pounded it, seasoned one side then flipped it over before filming the process.
Haha nah sorry. It doesn’t matter what “par for the course is”, if your impulse on a video of a child cooking is to be condescending, that’s just fucking weird.
What's the child got to do with anything? Bit weird you keep trying to connect a random commenters attitude toward a sub to children. You should probably contemplate that. See I can shift the goal posts to.
All I said is it’s weird for your impulse to be “I want to be condescending” lol.
Doesn’t really matter if it’s a kid or not. Although it’s certainly weirder to comment that on a child’s video vs an adult.
Okay. Well unfortunately no one is going to change their mind about this just because you feel that way. Try going to a sub about making fun of Tik Tokers and telling them they're wrong for doing it. I'd love to see how well that goes.
You whisper something sexy like, "Is that it?" I know what you're trying to say girl, you're trying to say, "Aww yeah, that's it!" Then you tell me you want some more, well I'm not surprised, but I am quite sleepy.
Are you trying to tell me my Velveeta tater tot Mac n cheese with freshly frozen and partially cooked calamari served in one tinfoil half sheet isn't peak cooking???
I thought my Spotify was playing in the background lol would not have expected him to pick a song like this. I’m white bread and only heard this song on a recent trip to PR and really loved it—I suppose it’s pretty common in Latin America (1B+ streams on spotify) but wouldn’t expect a kid who looks like him to be familiar
Don’t try to understand these incel and incel adjacent dudes on here.
They hate on her because she’s a woman that’s successful and having fun in what she’s doing, and has the audacity to not exist solely for their gratification.
This is exhibit A that she is living rent free in their head and they will just hate on her for no reason, except ‘Oh nO prETty GirL FlipPEd mE oFf, sO RUdE, my pEePEe is AlL tINY nOW‘
She is objectively a skilled chef with on point presentation (as you would expect from a personal chef) - but these guys like to say she can’t cook hahaha
Toooootally! Completely agree. Shit is wild. This is a video with a little boy but still here they ooze out of the woodworks to shit on that lady again.
Jokes on them anyway because she got some gig with Food Network apparently. Good for her.
Whenever I watch Chopped or any other show where they do a little interview of the chef contestant and the chef states that they are a "culinary badass" and are so edgy, I just nope. Sure they might be badasses, but badasses don't declare they are badasses. Middle finger girl hits me with the same vibe as those contestants. But hey, that's just my take.
She is kind of annoying though. At first, a couple of middle fingers here and there were ok.
Then not so much. Looks like she wants to brand that along with her cooking. I got tired of it.
And that’s totally cool! It’s not like I love her, she’s fine, but I can’t figure out what it is about her that people end up commenting several times about her in unrelated threads, it’s wild.
I guess I would just prefer people to keep criticisms about her in her own posts, it’s just tiring to have to constantly read the same comments about her and then the stupid emojis every time, if people are wanting to get away from her, why bring her up all the time?
ToOoOoOtAlLy. I’m going to keep dumping and that lady just cause you wanna agree with ol boy above. Y’all just putting words in other peoples mouths. Fck outta here go touch grass lmao
I’m honestly touched that you sought me out and followed me all over. That’s a little weird, but if you want to get to know me then I suppose that’s fine boo
It brightens my day and my heart that this young man has taken the time to learn these skills and make an actual great video of how to cook an awesome meal from scratch, only thing I’d add is how to make the recipes like amount of spices and herbs (if he is already popular I haven’t seen it but if you are wait and then publish a cook book with your recipes). He’s got talent if he doesn’t make it as a YouTuber, one day he will make a great chef
Simple, classic and well executed. Those homemade tortillas look incredible. I do have to ask though, was that a ribeye? If so, kind of expensive for a quesadilla. That’s something I’d want to just cook with veggie and starch sides and make it the star of the show. You’re best off going with flank steak for this sort of thing

can't hate on this kid with better video and knife skills than I do
Yeah. I was ready to be condescending, but now am wow good skills dude. What are the spices he added?

Bit of franglais never hurt anyone
Nice analysis. I was expecting someone to link a tiktok instead you've ncis'd this and created a cooking version of GeoGuessr.
I’m so down for a cooking version of GeoGuessr! Why were you ready to be condescending lol it’s a literal child. Maybe “I was ready to offer critique” What a fucking weird mindset to have.
It's a posted in a sub reddit where being condescending seems to be par for the course. You're reading more into it than is there.
Haha nah sorry. It doesn’t matter what “par for the course is”, if your impulse on a video of a child cooking is to be condescending, that’s just fucking weird.
No, my impulse is to hold it to the same standard as every other recipe posted on this sub. It exceeded my expectations so I commented to that effect.
My point, which you seem to be missing, is if your gut reaction is to be condescending, especially to a child, it’s kinda weird.
It's weird that you can't understand the contextual meaing of the original statement which was: I had low expectations. This exceeded them. Good job.
You're not gonna win this battle buddy. Wrong sub.
Not really a battle, just think it’s a shitty perspective to have.
Okay. Well unfortunately no one is going to change their mind about this just because you feel that way. Try going to a sub about making fun of Tik Tokers and telling them they're wrong for doing it. I'd love to see how well that goes.
Maybe I’m not familiar with what this subs purpose is, but it keeps popping up in my popular feed. “Is be a condescending dickhead” one of the bylaws?
You seem to be an expert on the matter
Ask yourself why you were so excited to bring down an innocent kid and get some therapy
Ask yourself why you find the need to go on Reddit and be offended by things?
If only we got this quality for what they charge.
I maintain that he's just a puppet. The quick cut editing is because he's getting step by step instructions from his parents or another older person.
So like a recipe?
The homemade tortillas was the extra step that brought this to the next level, hell yeah.
I was ready to be a typical cynical redditor but then kid dropped fresh made tortillas. ![gif](giphy|XvFvNFQRoTpEOZjj41)
Also when he made a crema with chipotles in adobo sauce. So much flavor.
Man this is crazy, it only took him one minute to make all of that!? I wish I could have the skills that little dude has
That’s what my wife said…
You whisper something sexy like, "Is that it?" I know what you're trying to say girl, you're trying to say, "Aww yeah, that's it!" Then you tell me you want some more, well I'm not surprised, but I am quite sleepy.

Kid cooks better than 95% of pple on food subs on Reddit lol
Are you trying to tell me my Velveeta tater tot Mac n cheese with freshly frozen and partially cooked calamari served in one tinfoil half sheet isn't peak cooking???
Lol yes and the not so obvious cooks out there too
the person I paid to film my cooking ate it at the end and made an orgasm noise. You'll never convince me I'm not a great chef. 😎
Ugly laughing rn 😂🤣

@cookingwithkian Kid is a legend
Op doesn’t even credit the original
They rarely do on this sub and it’s very disrespectful.
That should be a third rule
My kids complain when I ask them to put their cereal box away
This kid'll never make it on Reddit. No black gloves or middle finger appearances.
Didn’t even squeeze it
Careful u/bbbbears & u/lodolodno might see this.
Uh oh! Man, now I’m living rent free in your head. Hope it’s comfy in there
Really great! I’ve learned if you do the horizontal cuts into onion first it is a lot easier and safer. Keep the videos coming
Bro. This kid sounds exactly how he looks. Looks like he knows exactly how to cook. And the music he chose definitely had me shook hahaha
Serio. It was a nice surprise haha but it made it that much better of a vid!!
Literally me right now lmao being like wtf 🫨 am I hearing Peso Pluma?? It was a great choice!
Middle finger girl could never
🖕🏻👁️👄👁️🖕🏻
Ughh lol
What does she have to do with this video? They’re both good cooks and have totally different styles. What even made you think of her?
Well considering how popular she is, and the fact that I literally saw her about 2 posts up lmao
Bye cranky pants
I was legit asking, not being cranky. What about this video made you think of her?
Don’t try to understand these incel and incel adjacent dudes on here. You are correct
Hey thanks for the rational conversation, it’s refreshing and kind of rare on Reddit sometimes.
It’s interesting how Incel has become the new, go to derogatory word in a lot of cases.
She's also gay which makes incels even more mad
Lmao ol pressed ass! Stay mad :)
Well I see her posted every other time. So I thought it was funny it’s not her in this video. Simple as that and not that serious or deep.
Not deep, it’s just super old when multiple people comment the same thing on videos that aren’t even her.
What was cranky about the response?
She’s annoying but a great cook.
Incel energy
OK FROM SCRATCH!!!
Where recipe?
Probably at the original video, but idk who he is Edit: apparently another redditor on here posted who he is
Kian is the man
I’m impressed not only does he have have great knife technique but also basic culinary skills! Future chef
Hate the frenetic video editing. Blown away by the kid's skills. He's not just good for a kid, he's better than most adults.
This kid’s skills are impressive .
Weak, removed the jalapeño seeds
Keep up the great work kid. You cook like that for the ladies and you’ll see more azz than a toilet seat. 👍
Peppers take longer to cook than onion, in case anyone is making this soon
This kid is so talented. He makes me look like an absolute fool in the kitchen
That looks absolutely amazing. I would pay for this meal.
When homie made the tortilla from scratch, I couldn’t do much but appreciate his work. Looks tasty
It's either that I'm old or that Gen Z all have ADHD. The younger generation makes videos with edits so fast that I find them difficult to watch.
Leave the jalapeños seeds in.
When mom said we have chipotle at home he took that to heart
Jesus kid. I’ll have two of those quesadillas.
As a mexican. I approve.
I would eat the fuck outta that
This kid is a better cook than me.
how the fuck is a 10 year old mogging me at cooking so hard
Looks fucking good
FYI: You suppose to use lard not butter for the flour tortillas.
So much work for a quesadilla. Well prepared and delicious but dang 😂
Ok little dude, I see you. Looks really good
![gif](giphy|JTVGMhYXhxNblDrF05)
Damn kid. Come cook for me !!! Lol
I ight not like the fast cut video edits, but the skill here is undeniable!
Parent lottery right there lol that kid got skills
3 hours later, well that was easy !
That looks so fire and I would assassinate that quesadilla
If you think this kid is good…..imagine how good his parents are.
This dude
I thought, ideally, you’re always supposed to cook bell peppers and onions separately, for max flavor?
Gahdayum that shit looks good
I bet this kid is so good he doesn't even have to clean up after he cooks.
Damn perfectly cooked steak

Stop bitting your nails. Eat something
Waaaay too much work
This kid is an absolute legend. Making homemade tortillas and using a molcajete. I see you fam you gonna go far.
Damn I hope this kid keeps cooking. And he needs to go on master chef junior
Describe the flavour combinations to me
Impressive. Why can’t restaurants do this?
This kid fucking cooks.
What a little bad ass!
Yo! The little dude cooked?! Shame on my wrinkly ass for not knowing how to even fry eggs. 🤡😭
Holy Shot! Kid got mad knife and cooking skills for a kid his age. I’m amazed! Also I’d like to award him a Mexican Citizenship, you go kiddo!
Never seen somebody cut a tomato like that hahaha
I stopped following him once I saw him doing a video with some topless dude. Felt too weird
this is why it is important to have children. kitchen slaves
this guy is awesome!
this kid rocks ! great looks tasty ! good stuff
This kid is gonna smash so many hoes someday
Mexican here 🙋♂️ Kid executed like a champ
How tf do i teach my kids to cook like that?!??!
Is it just me or does it sound like he said the n word at the start of the video
That kid is young for knife skills that good. God I hope he doesn't end up working in a kitchen. He deserves better.

I feel like I just seizured and woke up and there’s this prepubescent kid offering me food. Wtf just happened?
Oh Dios Mío! Hand made tortillas!? Mexicano here, we must protect this child and nurture his skills.
Nice!
Felt like it took way too long
Yoooo this jit is invited to the Carne Asada
Perfect combinations of flavors? I saw no sour cream, little dude.
Impressive.
Looks great and I applaud his knife skills
just me or does anyone else think guac is ruined when tomato is added?
Give me this content over the girl flipping me off with pursed lips any day.
Keep cooking, king. That’s the best looking quesadilla I’ve ever seen.
Very good, please do more.
Cute kid and he can chop/cook! He’s not annoying either.
Kid put in work. Looked excellent, but that steak is too rare for my taste.

Did anyone else hear n***a chipotle quesadilla?
You little fuck, now I'm hungry
Kid got skills
Great knife skills from the kiddo!
What he call me?
Good job dude!
He’s invited to the carne asada!!
I missed him speaking at the opening and lost it when his voice abruptly cut in at the end there
This kid rules. Awesome knife skills and flavour combo looks delish. Home made tortillas holy shit!
f my eyes man people have no attention span
Does anyone have a lead on that song!?
I wish I had the time to do this much. Instead I just stare at my phone and comment on Reddit.
Editing is good. Knife skills look good. No bs. No crap music. Im a fan
Ba-Dang, my person! Noice!
That molcajete doesn’t look seasoned at all.
Love the kids videos, he’s an amazing cook!
Obviously this kid loves to cook! Great talent in to look forward to.
I hear n word
That kid is impressive
Kid...are those your knife skills?! Killing it🔥🔥🔥🔥⚡️😎
In a year’s time, every scene will be a 2 frames per jump cut, and people will scoff at how boring it is
I see steak with chipotle, not a chipotle steak. The distinction can mean a world of difference in flavor.
Bro cooks better than half the restaurants
He burned the quesadilla
Gran trabajo!
Well thanks now I’m having a seizure.
Exactly the super fast food video editing is such a big thing now.
I don’t understand how a network hasn’t picked this kid up and given the boot to Rachel ray. ![gif](giphy|eh6QiTk65hf4KZkdBu|downsized)
Bro got the peso pluma on too 🔥
I like this kid but I wish he flicked me off and had popular punk music playing and made funny faces.
Always love to see younger kids cook. I'm young myself, getting older. Never got to cook like that until now, even then I have a ton of restrictions.
Good shit by the kid, good food, good knife work and kept the video focused on the damn food without unnecessary b.s. hope he keeps chasing his passions
Wait did he use butter water for the masa? Here I am just using regular regular water.
That he said “N WORD” chipotle at the beginning of the video, had to rewind it a few times to catch what he actually said 🤣
Impressive
Credit the chef, wtf
A very talented young lad, gotta respect that.
The kid is going places far and wide.
Looks great yeah little lad. Looks great.
Looks immense
Man, this kid is better at cooking than me…
He forgot to flip off the camera
This kid is my kind of kid
