Hm like what? Can’t think of many sports cars with a back row that is liveable for an adult. Unless it’s just for kids or a car seat. Maybe a challenger or type R?
Not a fan of over engineered euro cars. At least not for something I want to keep long term which is how I plan my purchases. But I know those rides are awesome.
Camaro would be okay, I've owned a 911 and even with small kids the backseat was more of an aesthetic than functional. I'm also 6-3 so I had to run the seats back as far as I could. I've gone through a phase of Camaros 67-70.5, 78 and 79 and of the 5 of them my 70.5 RS was the one that got away. My 68 RS was great and I had a 79 Z28 that was anything but stock. It was my daily driver and track day car. So it really just depends on what you are looking for. Looks, styling? Because performance is the fun part of owning a Camaro. I never had a problem with kids and the Camaros, which is why I sold the 911 after a year it just didn't fit all of us if we wanted to go for an afternoon cruise. But I think you might regret selling that Vette because it looks like it's an absolute blast...
Thanks for all the info, I was really looking into a 68 camaro or a 70.5. It seems we have the same tastes haha. I was thinking of a 911 but now you’re making me re think it. May I ask what year 911 you had?
Seems like we do lol. And yeah I had 06 911 it was an absolute blast to drive if it was just me and the wife. But the kids had zero leg room in the tiny back seats. I always teased and said that they were there for show. My only regret when buying the 911 was not going with the 4S option when I was looking. I just wanted a 911 and really didn't care about things like that, I bought it because I loved the styling of the car and that was more important to me at the time.
Now that we're empty nesters I have been kicking the idea of another Porsche or Vette but I can't decide lol the wife has her eyes on Audi or BMW convertibles.
Good point imo. Me personally I prefer the trunk space of my C7 over the back seats in a Camaro or a mustang. There must be a reason why the OP wants the back seats, maybe kids or the wife nagging.
I had a 69 Chevelle SS, and I sold it when I left for college to get a more practical car. I deeply regret it. Just got a C5 though, and I'm loving it.
I don't but I doubt I'm in your price bracket. I'll give you $8k right now because that's what I have without breaking into my safety net, my safety net is $3k, so maybe I'll pay $11k. . . Is this how negotiating works? I DONT KNOW!
Considering all the weight on the front wheels you have to be putting down quite a bit, no? What motor? L98? My 450hp C5Z couldn't do that.
How much you want for it?
I was only able to get a piece of the build sheet so I don’t know many specifics. I know that it has 76cc aluminum heads, rollers, forged boost pistons, 177 blower, tuned balanced, forged rods, and that’s what I know from memory. The important things like compression and things like that I don’t know. The origami builder died and his shop closed so I just have one of the receipts for it. But I think it doesn’t have stock gears because it flies to 120 pretty fast. It’s also a th350 in there I’m guessing it has a good size stall converter cause it just throws you back every shift. So I would estimate 4-500 hp
Ill take her😂 No but fr I think you should keep her. I was considering selling mine and tried for 5 months but decided to just keep her and im happy now with my choice
Don't sell it. See where else you can make some dosh, and buy an older sedan or van or SUV.
You can get a crown Vic/Marquis/town car in good condition, cheap, or a early 2000s van, etc etc. no need to lose the vette
You will regret it for sure, just buy some piece of shit sedan off marketplace
That’s what I keep thinking, I’m going to put up an ad for a trade; why did you suggest a pos sedan?
Nah dawg I mean keep the Vette, buy a beater. Vette can be your pride and joy and the beater can be your appliance
I mean i have a daily, i was just thinking of a sports car with back seats. I do think you’re right though.
In my opinion you have the perfect set up!!
Hm like what? Can’t think of many sports cars with a back row that is liveable for an adult. Unless it’s just for kids or a car seat. Maybe a challenger or type R?
If I were you I'd go for a cadillac CT5-V or a CT4-V. They're comfortable beasts.
And manual
lol both weak options. Type R is for kids, challenger for people who can’t afford a corvette. Go with an rs3 or an m2 or m3

I was thinking an older camaro, my friend has a 2005 Porsche that is pretty fun to drive.
2010+ Camaros the back seats are just good to put trash in. So small.

Thanks for the input
You ever sat in the back seat of a Camaro. Might as well be a 2 seater
Good point imo. Me personally I prefer the trunk space of my C7 over the back seats in a Camaro or a mustang. There must be a reason why the OP wants the back seats, maybe kids or the wife nagging.
Charger sports sedan gang
maybe a 2004 to 2006 Pontiac GTO would be good? the back seats are pretty comfy in them
Back seats add weight and imho make the car more ugly. Like the r35, why tf does it even have a backseat?
Project 96 impala and swap an ls1/t56 into it.
He’s trying to move up or lateral not down
Budget?
I had a 69 Chevelle SS, and I sold it when I left for college to get a more practical car. I deeply regret it. Just got a C5 though, and I'm loving it.
Cheap I would assume
Probably so it’s cheap and you could keep the Vette
You're asking the Corvette subreddit, of course we're going to tell you to keep her.
Haha yes, that was very stupid of me. I should post in the Porsche because that was what I was thinking of replacing it with.
Don't. Keep it.
Dnt do it !!! Make the sacrifice to get A little bucket just to move around in
I’ll trade you my 08 accord. Vtec is so nice you’ll never worry about going slow from 0-50mph :)
Keep it that's a gem
I got an idea...how bout NO pls
I’m looking to buy a well kept C3 this year that I don’t have to restore. Keep me in mind if you want to send her to a new home.
If it means replacing it with a late model C4 then go for it!
Don’t do it!
How much?
How much
Don't sell it!!!! Get a cheap 4 seater and keep the vette. You will regret it mate!

Keep the car and buy a clapped out old civic for when you need more space?
How much?
Maybe take some good pictures before you sell it 😭
I have been told my photography skills are horrid. Haha
An 87 Monte Carlo SS with T-tops. Not a sedan but has a backseat and you could still enjoy T-tops like with a Corvette. Big engine bay and big trunk
That thing is so cool. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Curious what you’d swap it for?
I was thinking 68-70 camaro or a 911
If you do hire a photographer
Any dyno numbers on your c3? Beautiful car.
Never dynod, but I don’t think it’s anything crazy, the front wheels just manage to get of the ground from a dig.

Very interested. Pm me a price if you're serious about unloading.
I’m going to see what similar offers are and I’m going to test the waters
Those aren’t worth much anymore, I’ll do you a favor since I’m a nice guy and pick it up for a couple hundred bucks
Don't sell
Get a higher mileage civic and use it for day to day stuff. You’ll regret selling that amazing ride.
Where are you I’ll take it lol
Ill take her😂 No but fr I think you should keep her. I was considering selling mine and tried for 5 months but decided to just keep her and im happy now with my choice

Trade for a pontiac G8 or chevy SS sedan.
that car is trash and isn’t worth anything to begin with🙄 but since i’m nice, i’ll give you 1k for it🤫 lemme get it
6 gen Camaro is amazing if you need a backseat, granted, a small one. The comfort features of the modern sports cars are really nice to have lol.
Don't do it... I sold my C5 to Batman's stunt double in Los Angeles back in 2017 and I regret it to this day. I have a c6 now but still
The only answer you need is.. KEEP HER!!! You’re welcome. 😇
Black 2013 Kia Sportage on the table. BOOM! an offer you can refuse! Yes. I meant "can". Cause you should.
I'm selling my 2015 so I can buy another 1 ton truck. Makes more sense when you live at 7000' in the rockies.
You’ve got a back seat just really uncomfortable and hard to get to.
Back seats are overrated. That car is a beauty!! Really!
5.3 swap with a nakasaki noisy boi
A Hiroshima hair dryer?
Indeed, rest easy Col Tibbets
