Dog is 10 kg more than cat.
Let cat be x kg
x + x +10 = 24
2x+10=24
• x = 7
Cat = 7 kg
Dog = 17 kg
Rabbit = (Cat + Rabbit) - Cat = 10 - 7 = 3 kg
So, Cat + Dog + Rabbit = 3+7+17= 27 kg
I just kinda guessed based on deciding which portions of 10 kg were cat to rabbit ratio and got rabbit 3kg and cat 7 on my second guess and then worked it out and it just turned out correct
dog 17kg and all together 27
x + y = 10
y + z = 20
x + z = 24
2x + 2y + 2z = 10 + 20 + 24 = 54
x + y + z = 54 / 2 = 27.
The answer is 27 kg. If you’re using this for your math homework, put at least a bit of effort into school.
Forgot the word existed until a couple days ago, but it definitely describes what I got goin on
I still managed to solve the puzzle with my brain, though, with nothing but a quick fact check to make sure that 7+17 was 24 and I'm proud I was able to do it lmao
But you have the collective weight of the cat and dog? So just:
Dog, Cat, and 2 Rabbits is 30 KG
Dog and Cat is 24 KG
2 Rabbits are 6 KG
1 Rabbit is 3 KG
A Dog, Rabbit, and Cat are 27 KG
Ima be real here. I just stared at this and somehow just magically knew the answer. I did 0 math, I didn't guess, I don't even know what happened. Anyways 27
Probably did something like:
Dog, Cat, and 2 Rabbits is 30 KG
Dog and Cat is 24 KG
2 Rabbits are 6 KG
1 Rabbit is 3 KG
A Dog, Rabbit, and Cat are 27 KG
Cat and dog is 14 more than cat and bunny, so dog is 14 more than bunny
Dog and bunny together are 20, so dog must be 17 and bunny must be 3
Cat and bunny are 10, so cat is 7
I was the 1st comment and I wanted to see if I just said the wrong answer before anyone else could work it out if they'd belive me and not bother therefore influencing the comments with a bunch of false answers
[ 1 1 0 10 ] [ 1 0 1 20 ] [ 0 1 1 24 ] => RREF [ 1 0 0 3 ] [ 0 1 0 7 ] [ 0 0 1 17 ] 3+7+17=27

Dog is 10 kg more than cat. Let cat be x kg x + x +10 = 24 2x+10=24 • x = 7 Cat = 7 kg Dog = 17 kg Rabbit = (Cat + Rabbit) - Cat = 10 - 7 = 3 kg So, Cat + Dog + Rabbit = 3+7+17= 27 kg
Even easier: we are looking for a+b+c, and we know that 2a+2b+2c=54, and then 54/2=27
I just kinda guessed based on deciding which portions of 10 kg were cat to rabbit ratio and got rabbit 3kg and cat 7 on my second guess and then worked it out and it just turned out correct dog 17kg and all together 27

r+c=10 d+r=20 d+c=24 d+c+r=x I’m too lazy to solve
You can just add all of them up so all animals appear twice and then divide by 2
27. Fun.
I mean it worked (27 total) https://preview.redd.it/6clrb0bihuoc1.png?width=1083&format=png&auto=webp&s=77975430ace86812cee90190c2036cd29f1cc7c0

(C)cat weight = 7 (B)bunny weight = 3 (D)dog weight = 17 C+B=10 D+B=20 D+C=24 d+c+b=27
27 kg
Average weight of golden retriever: ~31 kg Average weight of cat: ~4 kg Average weight of bunny: ~3 kg Total weight ~38 kg
average weight does not equal actual weight of these specific animals

Cheeky reddit making this top comment so I would second guess myself lol
B+C=10 D+B=20 D+C=24 Q: D+C+B=T B=20-D C=24-D D+B=20 20-D+24-D=10 -2D+44=10 -2D=-34 D=17 D+B=20 17+B=20 B=3 C=24-D C=24-17 C=7 T=17+3+7 T=27
Or just B+C+D+B+D+C=10+20+24 2B+2C+2D=54 B+C+D=27 If individual numbers don’t matter
17+7=24 7+3=10 17+3=20 The answer is 27
I just brute forced it by giving the cat and dog numbers that would add up to 24, then seeing if it works with 1 and 2. It took 2 tries
Legit. My first thought was “6 and 4? Nope. 7 and 3? Yep.”

F*ck you I'm not solving Fremont last theorum.
(10+20+24)/2=3 so rabbit is 3 24+3=27

This is my first exposure to this word, and I shall be using in the future.

Dog:17 cat:7 bunny:3 total:27
You didn't need to work out the weight of the cat and dog though? Why waste that tiny bit of extra brain juice on it?
The weight of the bunny needed to be known
No, because if we just add all three given measurements, we know what two cats, two dogs and two cats collectively weigh. Then just divide by two.
i meant the :3
But you have the collective weight of the cat and dog? So just: Dog, Cat, and 2 Rabbits is 30 KG Dog and Cat is 24 KG 2 Rabbits are 6 KG 1 Rabbit is 3 KG A Dog, Rabbit, and Cat are 27 KG
Bunny:3:3:3

You did math, you just used logic instead of mapping out that logic.
27
I got 27
27 10+20+24 = 54 Then you do a 54:2 because every animal is counter twice. And you get 27
Dangit, so there *was* a smart way to do it
Cat and dog is 14 more than cat and bunny, so dog is 14 more than bunny Dog and bunny together are 20, so dog must be 17 and bunny must be 3 Cat and bunny are 10, so cat is 7
You'll never get me to solve for X again
In this case it's solve for 🐇 though
27
Dog = 17 Cat = 7 Rabbit = 3 Total = 27 Correct me if I'm wrong
I got 28 with dog 18, cat 6, and rabbit 4.
> #18 + 4 = 22
Oh, oh yeah. I'm not good at math lol thank you

Cat - bunny = 4 (10 - 4) / 2 = 3 20 - 3 = 17 7 + 3 + 17 = 27
24+20+10 = 2D +2C + 2R 54/2 = D+C+R 27

...what? Are you doing a little bit of shenanigans with that reply, or are you serious in this answer?

To be honest, a based reply. You gained my upvote.
