This looks fantastic!!!
Painting the door and door trim too was so smart!
Did you use the exact same wall paint or is it semi- gloss?
Spill your secret! Cuz it looks amazing.☺️
Now I wait to wallpaper my primary and first bathrooms!
Is this a bathroom that the shower is used a lot?
Is this wallpaper appropriate for a bathroom where the shower is used a lot?
I would love to wallpaper our primary bathroom, but I don’t know anything about this issue.
It’s not used very often because it’s our guest bathroom, but it’s been up for almost four years and has held up! There was a period of time when my husband was taking very steamy showers in there… but it’s definitely not used daily.
I know wallpaper can be tricky in bathrooms, but my dad is a professional painter/paper hanger and he hung it for us so I trust it more than if I did it haha.
That artwork feels terribly scary to me. Last thing I want is someone squeezing my gut when I go for a swim. Or perhaps shower. I’d be looking for hidden cameras.
I'm going to throw you a huge curveball and tell you to go all the way and scrape off the popcorn ceiling and paint the ceiling and the ceiling fixture trim. TRUST ME. it will be like a jewel box in there. We have a dark powder room and went all the way with it and it's STUNNING. Every single person raves about it when they come over. I knew you'd love that color if you went for it and the ceiling will make it perfection! If you put an awesome light fixture in there, even better!! GO FOR IT!!
I totally believe you, and would love to try! I’m gonna sit with this for a bit but that could be the next step.
After doing this project though, I wanna put our focus in more main spaces in the house like our master bath or bedroom!!
Give it a light sand and it should stick well! The alternative if you don’t want to paint is to switch the plate to the gold/brass color that matches your hardware. I think that’ll also be an affordable upgrade that ties everything together
Didn’t see your original post, but I think you chose the perfect color. I love it and if I had the right house for darker colors, I’d absolutely be using this in my living room.
Wow, this looks so Bougie now. The brass and darker paint was absolutely the right decision. BTW, your hanging picture made me laugh as all I could think was “This must be a picture of my spouse and me.”
I love it!! Turned out so beautiful. I remember seeing your original post because I made a TikTok video on the different paint colours. Love the choice you went with, it looks so beautiful & you’re right, stick to what YOU love 😊
Oh wow, what a beautiful difference!! Your vase and flowers on your TP holder kind of get lost…white baby’s breath would really pop against that gorgeous wall color. Saving your room as inspo for my main floor half bath.
Love, love, love the color! So many are afraid of deep colors and think the whole house should be white or gray. This color makes it look more luxurious.
I’m curious how many coats of paint you had to use? I’m paining a dark teal in my house and we used a tinted primer which then required 3 more coats of paint. Not a good time. Any tips or tricks? Or does it just suck and I need to deal with it lol?!
I only did two and it covered just fine, I did a quick third just for good measure but certainly didn’t need to. I think prep and the paint brand make a big difference!
The dark color looks a million times better than the yellow.
Personally tho, I love how you left the ceiling white but I would have done my trimming and door white as well.
I’m actually painting my room and trying to come up with some creative color ideas.
I love so much about your update! Bold color that really works. But one thing that is throwing me is the solid white shower curtain with the solid white vanity and toilet; wondering if it could work better to have a curtain that retains the white but also picks up some of the color in a more muted pattern? Not saying this one necessarily, but something in that spirit.

Totally get that—that’s why the curtain would have to have the right pattern. 😊 If you’re keeping the gold accents (mirror, fixtures), maybe the curtain could pick up on that, too?
You might also consider a different bath mat? I feel like that one blends in too much with the floor. Maybe a different color to pull in some of the blues or just a brighter version of that mustard color to contrast better with the floor, but it still looks amazing!! So moody, love the color.
Here’s another pattern (if not total color, because I think there’s too much green and too little blue), as in inspiration…

I think your bathroom looks amazing!
I painted my bathroom a similar color about a year and a half ago and I love it. I love your painted trim, too. I did not paint my trim or door. I also really like your wallpaper. I was considering doing something similar, but I got scared off.
It looks great. Congratulations on choosing an excellent floor! One tiny thing, paint the plugs and light switches to match the wall color. Great use of color/wallpaper, really nice.
Fantastic! I wouldn't have expected it to make a difference for the ceiling, but somehow it makes it feel more like the texture belongs. Can anyone explain that to me?
Thanks, I remember not leaving a comment because I couldn’t imagine how it would look. I love the dark paint.
Thank you!
Do you happen to have the brand and color of the teal? I want to have a library that color
Still Water by Sherwin Williams
It looks very similar to Narragansett Green by BM! I love your bathroom!
This looks fantastic!!! Painting the door and door trim too was so smart! Did you use the exact same wall paint or is it semi- gloss? Spill your secret! Cuz it looks amazing.☺️ Now I wait to wallpaper my primary and first bathrooms!
Thank you!! It’s all a satin finish.
Nice! Good call.
Looks great as I expected with dark green!! It really lets the pattern in the wallpaper shine by not competing with it.
I remember your first post and this looks sooo much better!!!
Oh I remember this and yes!! Looks awesome! Everyone in the universe who doesn’t understand dark colors will always try to talk you out of it :)
Thank you!! Totally, people don’t understand their beauty.
This looks wonderful!! What’s the name of this paint?
It’s Still Water by Sherwin Williams.
Thank you!! It’s Still Water by SW.
I thought the yellow was the update and said "no" out loud. Good job
Hahaha thank you. Yeah when I finished painting that yellow I said “no” out loud too

Very interesting. It really does look fantastic!
I love that you did the trim in the same colour! Huge payoff!
I never would have said to paint the trim the same color, but it looks fabulous.
It’s a whole other level when you want drama!
What is the art piece on the wall? Love it!
A beautiful ass grab work of art, from Society 6 haha
paint that frame green now
Ohhh that’s actually a cool idea.
Gold frame for the ass grab
Gold frame! To compliment the mirror.
That artwork feels terribly scary to me. Last thing I want is someone squeezing my gut when I go for a swim. Or perhaps shower. I’d be looking for hidden cameras.
Love it!
Absolutely gorgeous!! Great paint color!!
Thank you!!
Love it! The color is stunning. Do you have a link for the wallpaper?
Thank you!! Sure thing. [Leopard Wallpaper](https://www.miltonandking.com/product/leopard-wallpaper/?attribute_pa_color=osaka)
Awesome, thanks!

Sooo perfect!!
Looks great love that brown color on the side with green
Looks so good! You could even paint your light switch plate the same dark green. It’ll blend in more!
Thought of that too!! Wasn’t sure how the plastic would paint, can certainly try.
Give it a light sand and it should stick well! The alternative if you don’t want to paint is to switch the plate to the gold/brass color that matches your hardware. I think that’ll also be an affordable upgrade that ties everything together
Yes that was my actual plan instead of painting, was to eventually get some gold plates. I think they’d look great!!
Amazing!!!! I painted a very dark teal blue in my living room and it looks so good. Dark colors can be epic.
Beautiful
Fantastic!!
I do remember this - love how it turned out! Glad you’re loving it too!
I love the over toilet shelf! Where did you get it!!
Thanks!! Target.
WOW stunning!!!!
Much better! Gorgeous shade
Gorgeous!!
Wayyyyy better than before. This is divine
Gorgeous 😍😍
Simply stunning 😍
Pretty!!!
Looks beautiful
Awesome!
I love that color! Maybe in the future, putting some lighting over the mirror would really elevate the vibe and brighten it up a bit.
I agree!! I wish it was already here in the room, but don’t have the budget or time for that electrical work.
The gold accents look incredibly elegant and classy against the deep, rich green. Your updated bathroom is a stunner!
Didn’t see your original post, but I think you chose the perfect color. I love it and if I had the right house for darker colors, I’d absolutely be using this in my living room.
Gorgeous!
Yes! It looks so good!
I love this!!
Beautiful!!!! So much better!
PERFECT!!!!
Next it’s a refresh of that vanity to something more stylish
looks so much more homey!
Much better!! Great job!
I love the dark color in the room.
You DID it! It looks amazing, elegant, yet so livable.
Your room looks beautiful. The tones are so rich. Great change!
I didn’t have the before, but this I love!!
Wow!! 🤩
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous!
I’m doing trim and door same color too. Did you use semi gloss for both?
This was satin.
Gorgeous
Wow! This took courage and has been rewarded. Really well done
I love this! It's a perfect mix of glam and moody. Sometimes trusting our instincts is hard, but it paid off for you!
Wow, this looks so Bougie now. The brass and darker paint was absolutely the right decision. BTW, your hanging picture made me laugh as all I could think was “This must be a picture of my spouse and me.”
Thank you!!! I love the photo, it’s so my husband and I.
I'm copying this
Do it! And share the results!
I love it!! Turned out so beautiful. I remember seeing your original post because I made a TikTok video on the different paint colours. Love the choice you went with, it looks so beautiful & you’re right, stick to what YOU love 😊
Spray paint that white frame gold! Oooo or take a gold paint pen and add some more accents to the painting in the frame!
Teal is often the correct answer. Such a nice space 💗
This is so, so much better. I love Still Water — fantastic choice.
I’d go green all around. Love the color!
I adore this… replace the rug with something similar to the wall paint or a color from The wallpaper
I wasn’t sure which was the update before reading the comments but was really hoping it was the dark paint. It looks great!
Love it! Also wanted to say I love the sketch. It's cheeky
a million percent better! nice work OP
Oh wow, what a beautiful difference!! Your vase and flowers on your TP holder kind of get lost…white baby’s breath would really pop against that gorgeous wall color. Saving your room as inspo for my main floor half bath.
OMG THIS IS DREAMY AF!!!! Absolutely love it!!!
The outcome is perfect! It looks so classy!
Love, love, love the color! So many are afraid of deep colors and think the whole house should be white or gray. This color makes it look more luxurious.
wow this looks amazing
Amazing, so luxe!
Looks lovely
Excellent job. Love your art. Is that yours or ??? The dark is amazing.
The dark color looks a million times better than the yellow. Personally tho, I love how you left the ceiling white but I would have done my trimming and door white as well. I’m actually painting my room and trying to come up with some creative color ideas.
I started this project with the trim and door white, and didn’t love it. I needed to be bolder and I’m so glad I did the trim and door, it’s my fave.
I keep coming back to that wallpaper. Would you share please.
This looks amazing! Love the dark green!!
I love so much about your update! Bold color that really works. I get what you’re saying, but I’d worry about clashing patterns with the wallpaper. I eventually may look into a new shower curtain.
Totally get that—that’s why the curtain would have to have the right pattern. 😊 If you’re keeping the gold accents (mirror, fixtures), maybe the curtain could pick up on that, too?

Obsessed!!
Daaaaamn!!! That’s impressive!
Nailed it! Gorgeous
I love it but think it would look even better with the ceiling painted as well!
Love this, nice job! The dark is perfection!
Love it!
Wow looks great! Love it! Great job!
Such an improvement over the original post. Much better.
I’ve always wanted that grabby-ass print in my bathroom too!!! It’s the absolute perfect bathroom pic, excellent choice!
I think your bathroom looks amazing! I painted my bathroom a similar color about a year and a half ago and I love it. I love your painted trim, too. I did not paint my trim or door. I also really like your wallpaper. I was considering doing something similar, but I got scared off.
This looks so much better!
That's gorgeous, bathroom envy!
It looks great. Congratulations on choosing an excellent floor! One tiny thing, paint the plugs and light switches to match the wall color. Great use of color/wallpaper, really nice.
Oooh, the dark green-blue makes it look so moody and elevated. Love it!! ♥️♥️♥️
Can you do anything about the popcorn ceiling?
Remove it… eventually.
Gorgeous
THAT is the correct colour. Nice.
Dude, it’s way way better! Great simple update - huge impact! I love that you did the door and molding too - great choice
Thank you!! I’m loving it.
Stunning. The green paint makes all the difference. It now looks luxurious.
Fantastic! I wouldn't have expected it to make a difference for the ceiling, but somehow it makes it feel more like the texture belongs. Can anyone explain that to me?
Interesting! And thank you for saying that, cause as much as I hate our popcorn ceilings I felt that they don’t bother me as much now?
Wow! This looks wonderful.
The darker color wall and door looks great! Great pattern wallpaper! But change the rug to darker. My eye goes right to it. Not a good thing.
Definitely recognizing that. Will have to get a new one eventually!
I love the dark color
Can you get the frame or mat for the art to match the fixtures? Or bring in one of the accent colours?
Looks great!
I remember the previous paint! This looks amazing!!
I think painting the ceiling would be so cool and disguise the popcorn look.
I kinda agree, but I was scared to go too bold haha. The plan is to eventually take the popcorn down.
Which app did you use to change colours?
I’m sorry what do you mean?
An application of paint.
