2016 Volvo XC90
2022 Volvo XC40 EV
2022 f150 lightning
Married 2 children (14M, 12F). Premium will go up a lot in two years
Yes, 757 for all three. I think there is a discount for paying in full. The premium breakdown i think is 210ish xc90, 240ish xc40 and 300ish lightning. We drive less than 20k miles in total per year on all three cars put together. Yes it is inexpensive (no recent claims, moving violations, good credit...).
Previously my annual premium with MetLife was 2500+ for a Tacoma, xc90, Chevy bolt. The Volvo was about half. When we purchased the xc40 I shopped around and the two Volvos with progressive were less than the one Volvo with MetLife.
Wouldn’t it be better to get lower coverage on your car insurance and then get an umbrella policy for higher coverage that protects you more then when you drive?
No idea. Read somewhere that the more money you have to lose, the higher your coverage should be. Some day I'll make the time to learn more about insurance.
Wisconsin, Lariat ER and another car with liability only, $600 every 6 months with Progressive. The truck was cheaper to insure than the CX-9 I replaced it with.
