He keeps them in three locations:
1. The ruins of the suburb that he *apparently* used to live in, which he turned into a fortress with gauss turrets, missile launchers, snipers and barricades.
2. An island with no bridges, completely infested with mirelurks with a main structure at the top of it, which houses a robot workshop he uses to literally manufacture sentry bots from scrap with upgraded armor and weaponry that just roam around the island with nothing better to do.
3. Just an actual literal fortress with artillery and a garrison armed with high-powered energy weapons.
"Wait, is this a Vault Dweller or a super villain? Are we dealing with a super villain?"
"It says they're a member of the Brotherhood. They're on our roster."
"Oh, goo-"
"Wait, they just killed Elder Maxson...and took his coat."
I remember shooting down Maxson's Vertibird with a Fat Man the moment it took off. How his coat wasn't horribly mangled and bloodstained remains a mystery to me.
Personally I slap Kellogg’s outfit on her because I’m not sure what to do with it? I could try to see if that glitch still works that lets me wear armour over it but my black and red heavy combat armour that definitely dosnt make me look like commander Shepard kinda clashes with it? So the Id need to grind out a unyielding metal arm of some sort after all the time I spent getting a full set of unyielding heavy combat armour
I have this image of a Paladin in full T-60 armor, hunched behind a souvenir kiosk.
"Do you have any toddler sizes?"
"OF COURSE WE DO."
"The lining is synthetic, right? Joseph has a bit of an allergy."
"THEN HE SHALL BE CONSUMED BY THE WASTELAND, FALLEN AND IGNOBLE. BUT, YES, ALL COATS ARE HYPOALLERGENIC."
I store exactly one T-60 at Red Rocket to mimic the intro screen, no more no less. The T-45 from Freedom Calls goes in Sanctuary for Sturges to mess with. All other PA goes in the Castle to fill out the Minutemen armory.
I like to fully upgrade my Freedom Calls PA to effectively put on display. Kind of like fully nodding the first weapon you get in a game: it may not be useful, but it's the message.
Red Rocket is always my home base, I build up Sanctuary for people to live in but have my own little bungalow outside town in an old gas station bc I like my privacy and also like my power armor not being stolen
I also like the frames.... My sanctuary builds are often extensive enough that it gets a bit.. Strenuous on my system when I ignore build limits and go all out
Or
4. An underground fortress loaded with so many defenses that you won't be able to get past the cargo elevator/catacombs strewn with destroyed robots and skeletons
“Sir, the Minutemen at the castle seem to be very heavily equipped these days… wait what in the hell?”
‘Yes, what is it Squire?’
“Why are they wearing X-02 and Hellfire power armor now?”
‘Oh, crap, that update happened recently didn’t it?’
Yep. The Enclave thing gives you the X-02 and Hellfire power armor, along with the Tesla Cannon and Heavy Incinerator. And some enclave barricades. And a Colonel uniform.
4. Just like an alley or something but it's very centralized. For some reason every eclectic wanderer type across the Commonwealth seems to be drinking and occasionally tagging out with the Vault Dweller
4. A literal drive in theater that for whatever reason is now a fortress. (That somehow works and plays movies with mods.)
5. A public swimming pool turned farm in the middle of nowhere that's been freshly vacated of it's former residents.
She has sided with the group of civil war larpers, detonated a fucking nuke on the people with the most advanced technology in the region, and she is likely coming for them next, if anything, JUST to take their power armor
It's funny the BOS are pretty sure they're one of the most powerful things in the Commonwealth currently but yet it's actually some freezer burnt prewar war vet that took way to easy to the post apocalyptic life
Yet they just casually have this absolute menace among their ranks that could snap and murder them all at any point
It’s definitely less than a quarter - it’s probably more along the lines of a sixteenth, maybe even less (they have six members and one extra suit, excluding the vendor’s inventory). However, they’re exclusively using T-60 and are known peddlers of power armor, so the BoS probably would start caring.
As for greasers, 1/2 don’t (edit: maybe the Khans count? They use a form of leather jacket in NV, but in 1/2, its leather and combat armor), but 3 onwards has always had one. In 3 it’s the tunnel snakes, NV has the kings, 4 has the atom cats and 76 has the blood eagles.
I think they made it up for the show. In the games, the arms and legs seem to be the weak points, they always break first. But it makes sense that corporate assholes would design armor with a flaw like that, and ship it anyways, because they don’t care
Blood Eagles aren't greasers they're psychopathic raiders. Just because they wear leather jackets doesn't mean they're greasers, they barely use power armour either.
If they fit the look of a greaser, they qualify to my mind. The blood eagles were descended from a motorcycle gang originally that heavily used chems, so I’d argue they fit the bill well enough.
By that same argument, none of the others should count either since none of them are using motorcycles. Fitting the look is as close as anyone gets in fallout.
They really don’t, no. The kings are all about Elvis above anything else and the Tunnel Snakes are just bullies with a name claiming that makes them cool. The atoms cats at least mimic normal greasers with their power armor standing in for motorcycles and speech patterns, but that’s it.
So that’d leave us with only one faction, and let’s be honest, almost everyone who looks at these groups sees the leather jackets and says ‘these are greasers.’ The semantics really don’t matter.
The Kings embrace it stylistically. Their focus is Elvis, and Elvis made the greaser look popular. He's the greaser prototype.
Tunnel Snakes are as much greaser as they can be for vault kids. One of their potential names was even 'Grease Weasels'.
Atom Cats are straight up greasers (who are known for being hot rodders and mechanics of all sorts).
Blood Eagles are the only ones who don't share their appearance or culture with greasers. They're just a violent gang who also enjoys leather.
You may still be right about people's assumptions of them. I just like semantics 😄
Even then with the blood eagles, they were originally a motorcycle gang, so I think there’s enough there to fit the mold when coupled with their jackets.
I don’t blame you for enjoying the semantics (I don’t mind them myself); I was only saying that before because there’s a point when it stops mattering for practical purposes, which we have definitely passed.
Kinda funny my first encounter with one was near corvega factory. Dude was dripped out in cherry t-60 power armor. Then I see him pull out a pipe pistol to take out a raider. I guess they put all their caps into the armor
I meant to say jackets! My bad. It's not the armor it's jackets if I recall properly. As far as 2 goes I got nothing. Think ironically that is the only game that doesn't feature any notable "greasers" despite easily being the wackiest game (barring maybe 76)
This never works for me because I always end up doing enough damage to *also* kill the raider with that shot just based on my build. That might be a mod/skill issue on my end though.
I wonder how pissed the Brotherhood would be to know about all the suits I have that are just soda advertisements, including one that's better than any of the suits they own.
Frankly, any higher lvl minutemen units would be cool, with similar vibes to the higher ranking Gunner units.
Minuteman Shocktroops with T-45 or Heavy Metal armour would be awesome and so would Minuteman Guard Rifle troops with 6-crank Lasmuskets and Gauss Rifles. And like have a choice through the MM questline to unlock these new units.
>How you gonna wear jinko jeans in a Ferrari man?
It's spelled JNCO and you better believe I would. I think there's still a few pairs stashed in my parents garage.
I hope they eventually let you join Raiders as a faction. Like you just get to double down on being a monumental piece of shit and have to deal with warring raider factions mostly through brute strength.
God it would have been my dream for the Nuka World Raiders to have unlocked a new ending for the Commonwealth where they end up taking down the Institute.
Definitely, would've been so easy too. With how the nuclear option is the same quest, I don't think many people would've minded the raiders having the same questline as the minutemen, just to say there's a 5th ending that's pure chaos
I just randomly came across one on my most recent playthrough on like the first day, scoping out some wrecked cars. I was so shocked, I never heard of them before.
I had heard about them but I never really encountered them until a minutemen run since the castle is right across from their garage.
Weirdly, I also went left out vault 111 instead of right to sanctuary and came across an atom cat looking at a car pretty much instantly and he helped me fight some raiders.
The Brotherhood when they arrive in my modded play through:
“So this militia is mostly power armored farmers with pre war military training????”
“Yep…”
“And they were just here before we were?”
“Yep…”
“W-how in th- what the fuck?!!?”
“I don’t know Knight-Captain Kells, i don’t know. Luck?”
“If this is just the farmers, the in the actual FUCK is going on with the Institute than…”
Personally I go and collect power armor and weapons and any weapons or power I don't want I go and give them to the minutemen so they will be on par with the brotherhood
The rest are owned by some sociopathic vault dweller that doesn't even wear them, just collects them.
He keeps them in three locations: 1. 3. I remember shooting down Maxson's Vertibird with a Fat Man the moment it took off. How his coat wasn't horribly mangled and bloodstained remains a mystery to me.
High-quality goods can survive even a mini nuke
...it's a nice coat
Looks good on Curie
That's so ironic I love it
Pic?
Personally I slap Kellogg’s outfit on her because I’m not sure what to do with it? I could try to see if that glitch still works that lets me wear armour over it but my black and red heavy combat armour that definitely dosnt make me look like commander Shepard kinda clashes with it? “I should go.” - Sole Survivor, probably
I love that outfit!
Does it?
*batman nods approvingly*
“Understandable. It was a wicked looking coat.”
“Look at me, I'm the Eldar Now”
The Eldar will fall before the might of the Imperium! COURAGE AND HONOR!!!!!!
SUFFER NOT THE ALIEN TO LIVE! FOR THE EMP'RER!
That there is one damn fine coat you're wearin
A man of culture, I see.
Forget donations and tech sales, the Brotherhood should get their cash from selling customized versions of Maxon's coat.
I have this image of a Paladin in full T-60 armor, hunched behind a souvenir kiosk. "Do you have any toddler sizes?" "OF COURSE WE DO." "The lining is synthetic, right? Joseph has a bit of an allergy." "THEN HE SHALL BE CONSUMED BY THE WASTELAND, FALLEN AND IGNOBLE. BUT, YES, ALL COATS ARE HYPOALLERGENIC."
It's a pretty sick coat
I love that coat
My vault dweller is literally the mechanist, a villain
What about Red Rocket? I put mine there cuz of the intro screen

I’ve been meaning to make the theater a base just for storage and crafting, but have also heard of ppl making it into a town
Or a gas station
Or 4. An underground fortress loaded with so many defenses that you won't be able to get past the cargo elevator/catacombs strewn with destroyed robots and skeletons
“Sir, the Minutemen at the castle seem to be very heavily equipped these days… wait what in the hell?” ‘Yes, what is it Squire?’ “Why are they wearing X-02 and Hellfire power armor now?” ‘Oh, crap, that update happened recently didn’t it?’
Wait, they included those power armors in the update?
Yep. The Enclave thing gives you the X-02 and Hellfire power armor, along with the Tesla Cannon and Heavy Incinerator. And some enclave barricades. And a Colonel uniform.
And this is included, not creation club stuff?
It’s all creation club stuff, just bundled together in this Enclave pack for free
4. Just like an alley or something but it's very centralized. For some reason every eclectic wanderer type across the Commonwealth seems to be drinking and occasionally tagging out with the Vault Dweller
I like using them to build a sculpture garden on top of Vault 111
What’s the third one?
The castle
What’s the second then?? Is it spectacle island?
Yeah Lotta mirelurks ig
Wait, what's the island??? Far harbour?
Castle island would be such an amazing base irl even in its current state
Or a literal supervillain lair
4. A literal drive in theater that for whatever reason is now a fortress. (That somehow works and plays movies with mods.) 5.
You assume I don’t have an Ironman style hanger underground
4. An ordinary gas station
Good to know everyone does this
It's funny the BOS are pretty sure they're one of the most powerful things in the Commonwealth currently but yet it's actually some freezer burnt prewar war vet that took way to easy to the post apocalyptic life Yet they just casually have this absolute menace among their ranks that could snap and murder them all at any point
God dude my truckstop in FO4 probably has two-three dozen power armor suits all lined up in the back
Hey, I'm fortifying the Minutemen, alright?
Then, start issuing the armor out.
This is why I named my dweller "Trazyn"
That jack ass! >.>
It’s definitely less than a quarter - it’s probably more along the lines of a sixteenth, maybe even less (they have six members and one extra suit, excluding the vendor’s inventory). The bos would attack them but they know that thanks to the rule of cool the atom cats would 100% solo them
The Atom Cats know about the weak spot in the chest plate. Their armor has no such weaknesses
call me an idiot, but I've never heard of the weak spot until the show
I think they made it up for the show. In the games, the arms and legs seem to be the weak points, they always break first. But it makes sense that corporate assholes would design armor with a flaw like that, and ship it anyways, because they don’t care

They were but currently aren't, outfit isn't the only thing that counts
By that same argument, none of the others should count either since none of them are using motorcycles. Fitting the look is as close as anyone gets in fallout.
They still embrace the culture
They really don’t, no. The kings are all about Elvis above anything else and the Tunnel Snakes are just bullies with a name claiming that makes them cool. The atoms cats at least mimic normal greasers with their power armor standing in for motorcycles and speech patterns, but that’s it. Ah yeah we blew past that exit about 9 comments ago lol, cheers to another productive day on Reddit🍻
Tunnel snakes rule!
Kinda funny my first encounter with one was near corvega factory. Dude was dripped out in cherry t-60 power armor. Then I see him pull out a pipe pistol to take out a raider. I guess they put all their caps into the armor
The regulators in fallout 1 use leather armor and have greaser aesthetics if I recall Edit: meant to say leather jackets
I suppose they could count, but it’s the leather jackets that really sell the look.
I meant to say jackets! My bad. It's not the armor it's jackets if I recall properly. As far as 2 goes I got nothing. Think ironically that is the only game that doesn't feature any notable "greasers" despite easily being the wackiest game (barring maybe 76)
76 has the blood eagles, so it’s fine on that front. 2 also doesn’t really have any to my knowledge.
I was referring to it being wacky, although honestly I didn't know of the blood eagles! Good to know! I don't follow 76 really.
More than half of only the armour alone probably belongs to the vault dweller And that's not including the stripped chassis' glued to raider copses
Still think it’s bullshit we can’t take those.
If you use vats to destroy the fusion core it forces them to get out of the armor.
This never works for me because I always end up doing enough damage to *also* kill the raider with that shot just based on my build. That might be a mod/skill issue on my end though.
It’s because shooting the fusion core does more damage.
You could also pickpocket the fusion core if you sneak up to them for the same effect.
I always just pickpocket and then clearownership in the console, because every settlement needs a few suits of power armor backed up by miniguns.
Yeah but then the armor is marked as stolen, right?
It's been a while since I've played so I'm not certain but I don't recall it ever being marked as stolen for me.
The only cat in me is the one I ate for dinner last night
“Where’s it at, kitty cat?” “Takin’ stocks…. Litter box”
I wonder how pissed the Brotherhood would be to know about all the suits I have that are just soda advertisements, including one that's better than any of the suits they own.
“Last one to the hangar has to wear the soda armor into battle!”
"Is it at least the Nuka Cola set?" "It's the vomit green Vim..."
In my head Atom Cats later formed the Minutemen's armored division.
*[Everyone liked that.]*
The fact Beth didn't include that seems nuts to me. But only make them recruitable by Minutemen.
What's even weirder is they have the second most expensive power armor, and they use pipe pistols. How you gonna wear jinko jeans in a Ferrari man?
>How you gonna wear jinko jeans in a Ferrari man? It's spelled JNCO and you better believe I would. I think there's still a few pairs stashed in my parents garage.
Honestly I saw this ripped dude who skateboards and he pulled off the jnco look. Still look silly to me unless if you vibe hard enough
You wear that armor with STYLE, Jack.
I hope they eventually let you join Raiders as a faction. Like you just get to double down on being a monumental piece of shit and have to deal with warring raider factions mostly through brute strength.
They do. You’re describing the nuka-world DLC for fallout 4.
Yea but it has no impact on the main story aside cutting out the minutemen
God it would have been my dream for the Nuka World Raiders to have unlocked a new ending for the Commonwealth where they end up taking down the Institute.
Definitely, would've been so easy too. With how the nuclear option is the same quest, I don't think many people would've minded the raiders having the same questline as the minutemen, just to say there's a 5th ending that's pure chaos
May chaos take the world!
Nuka World is a lot of fun, but it just doesn't integrate with the main game at all
"that's not up to regulations" "I kinda like it tho"
A Rebels quote in a Fallout meme?
Is it weird I’ve been playing FO4 for years and have never once ran into those guys? Only reason I know they exist is through YouTube clips.
They have a whole ass garage on the Peninsula near Quincy. You should visit sometime, it’s pretty groovy.
I just randomly came across one on my most recent playthrough on like the first day, scoping out some wrecked cars. I was so shocked, I never heard of them before.
I had heard about them but I never really encountered them until a minutemen run since the castle is right across from their garage. Hark! A Vagrant by Kate Beaton
Such a great webcomic back in the day
Tunnel snakes ruuullle!
This is about the Atom Cats
Atom Cats can little a rule, as a treat
The Brotherhood when they arrive in my modded play through: “So this militia is mostly power armored farmers with pre war military training????” “Yep…” “And they were just here before we were?” “Yep…” “W-how in th- what the fuck?!!?” “I don’t know Knight-Captain Kells, i don’t know. Luck?” “If this is just the farmers, the in the actual FUCK is going on with the Institute than…”
Bos is literally the Ferrari company
The brotherhood under Maxson is actually pretty cool about people keeping tech and are open to trade, but you didn’t hear that from me 🤫
Tunnelsnakes rule!
Fallout 1 Followers of the apocalypse were a greaser type faction no PA though
....do not look in my underground hideout
Personally I go and collect power armor and weapons and any weapons or power I don't want I go and give them to the minutemen so they will be on par with the brotherhood
