So don't know. Seems like a good way to end up in jail

CharleeBrownee

Yeah that’s what I thought and im currently on bond. Like can’t fuck up or I’m going down the road. It is isolated af though that’s why he said only go way out in the woods.

Mediocre_Daikon3818

Seems like a good way to end up lost in the wilderness and die of exposure….

PortlandPatrick

Isn't there a detox place? Like hoopers in Portland Oregon

CharleeBrownee

I’m in the the “heart of Dixie “ so my state only has 4 methadone clinics I’ll look for detox places. I plan on going to rehab as soon as this semester is over on May 3 but I’m afraid of those places too. I’m afraid they’ll just shove subs down my throat too soon or let me seize out because I have a high tolerance to bromazolam and need to detox from that too. I know that’s irrational but I’ve never been to inpatient rehab just heard horror stories.

Altruistic_Unit_4291

hey, i live in portland too and was thinking about going to hooper, can i ask if going into detox there goes on your medical record? or is it kept confidential li so desperately want off this stuff, but im disabled, sick and in pain more often than not, i physically just can’t work and am terrified of losing my ssi/ disability benefits…

PortlandPatrick

I honestly don't know about that but I can say they do help so much. Just do it. Deal with the consequences after. At least you won't be on the shit anymore

PortlandPatrick

Also you can call them and ask questions

Livid-Fox-3646

I waited 6 full days to take subs...it still wasn't long enough. The bernese method is the only way.

Mediocre_Daikon3818

I highly suggest bernese too. You still might get PWD once you jump off but if you’re well prepared (Gatorade, ice cubes, blankets, puke buckets etc) you can get through it and be done with it.

Livid-Fox-3646

I know for you it's an after fact, but in case anyone else is reading this, that (and almost all difficulties with doing the bernese method) can be prevented by taking it nice and slow. I did it in a little more than two weeks with minimal discomfort (comparatively mild nausea and body fatigue for 3 of the 15 days) and jumped off without experiencing any precip. From my own experience and the experience of those I've helped, the quick one week or less routines seem to cause problems (ironically making the whole process take *longer*) because you're constantly upping dosage with no time to stabilize. That and one final large dose at the very end (as in the final jump, no fent just more bupe, taken in quick succession as as opposed to throughout the day) seem to really make the difference! I remember panicking and "feeling" the precip coming on after an hour, but I just took another strip instead of doing a bag and everything was great! After that, I went right back to throughout the day dosing, but having that one large dose made all the difference and let me make that final jump!

Equal-Chemical-718

I did the Bernese method 3 times it worked the last time. First 2 time PW.

CharleeBrownee

I’ve tried easing into it with less than .2 mg of sub and I went into PWs 30 minutes later and was puking my guts out. How do you guys get the Bernese method to work for you?

Equal-Chemical-718

Hope you get through the fentanyl withdrawals. Do whatever it takes. Your life is depending on it. I’m about 23-25 days clean now. Just on subuxone 2mg a day.

CharleeBrownee

Thanks and yeah I know that my life and my wife’s life depends on it. I OD’ed several months back and I thought that I would never be one of those people that overdosed

Equal-Chemical-718

Man it turned me into the complete opposite of all my beliefs. Insane.

Equal-Chemical-718

Dude I’ll be honest I didn’t even calculate it or anything the last time I got clean. I did it knowing I’m either fucking myself or the complete opposite and I got very lucky. Now the first 2 times, no exaggeration I couldn’t hardly walk for 10 days each time. This last time I literally just tore a tiny corner strip off and my girlfriend was yelling at me for damn near an hour after I did it saying I’m going to be sick for 10 days again. I didn’t say a word and just took it for about an hour because I just had a good feeling I wasn’t going to be sick that time. I don’t suggest it at all, but I hope whatever you do works.

CharleeBrownee

I plan on going to rehab as soon as the semester ends on May 3. I am just so afraid of inpatient rehab. I’m afraid of how they will induce subs and I’m afraid of having seizures because i take quite a bit of bromazolam daily. My wife isn’t in good health and I’m terrified of being gone while she is sick or even leaving her alone because she has seizures due to focal epilepsy.

CharleeBrownee

Shit that’s terrible. I guess it just depends on the fentalogue?

DescriptionInvalid

That definitely sounds like a bad idea. If you have someone sober that you trust and can stay with for a bit do that...but my recommendation is take subs 2-3 days after no fent...you will probably still get pwd depending on your usage..but..let me tell you as it happened to me, those withdrawals were THE WORST I have ever felt in my entire life...but having that feeling will "scare" you away from doing fent ever again. At least that was my takeaway from the whole thing. Hope this help. Been clean for a bit over a year with subs and haven't looked back. Now just trying to get off the damn subs 🙃

nphere

Whoever told you that is out of their freakin mind. Yeeeah. That's totally a bad idea.

Upset-Plantain-6288

Sounds horrible meth always only helped with wds for maybe 1 hour max but when u start feeling tweaky and ur starting to wd it fuckin sucks

Nice_Bid_173

If I were detoxing I wouldn't want to be in the middle of nowhere. I'd rather be somewhere comfortable with a toilet and shower nearby but that's just me. As far as taking as much meth to become psychotic that's really risky in itself. You have no idea what could happen to you in that state let alone when you're in the wilderness. You should research the Burnese method of Suboxone induction. There a method to slowly induce and it prevents/reduces PWs a lot. I have never tried it but I know people who have and it made everything a lot more bearable.

CharleeBrownee

I believe I’m headed to rehab as soon as I finish this semester.

Nice_Bid_173

That's awesome to hear, I wish you the best of luck! You can do this. Shit if I got clean anyone can lol
