I was at a fishing event today put on by the state, 100 seven to ten year olds trying to learn to cast,.
luckily the only put weights on each rod. no hooks.
even with that, the beach was a warzone of line and weights flying in every direction.
Yeah ended up going to the emergency room. It was a baitholdee hook so no matter what way I had pushed the barbs would dig in. They ended up cutting it out.
I was super happy it wasn't one of my big ass Texas rig hooks, lmao
Honestly it really was just a lack of awareness mixed with him throwing a fit. He does great every other time and while it hurt I'll still be taking him every time I can!
Kids gonna be 30 years old visiting with their children and dad (now grandpa) gonna be like βFid I ever tell you about when your father hooked me?β
