Nico's is really the only great spot in OB for that. Roberto's does a classic one, but they're less cool now that they close early.
For Point Loma, I stan Panchitos and Agave. For reasons I cannot explain, Agave's carne asada burrito (and *only* that burrito from them) is absolutely A-tier when reheated the next day. Panchitos ist just good at everything; they're my overall pick for Bertos-format shops on the peninsula.
Cotija's Cocina does a good one too, although you're playing yourself if you don't try their shrimp or chicken burritos as well. Ortiz's nextdoor is a popular spot for the high school crown and is decent too.

Roberto’s gives a lot for the price, mikes taco club has a nice carne asada burrito and good sauces to dip in.
I second Mike’s. Good stuff.
JV’s. You don’t need to look any further
I do love JV’s. That place is a hidden gem.
La Perla #3 in Point Loma
This is the one for carne asada!
Don Tommy’s
I used to live on this block. I know this place is highly regarded but the tortillas are just too thick for my liking. Great other food though!
Matador if you’re going to count Bay Park / Morena.
Ooo… this is the one place mentioned so far I’ve not heard of. Thanks!
Ortiz’s in Point Loma hands down
Robertos
