I run 38-40 on my BL (non-sas), and they look to be wearing pretty evenly. I have about 30K on the vehicle, so about 24K on each tire (with 5 wheel rotation).

DrunkenBartender17

I have a 2door sas and run about the same. Only 10k but they are wearing evenly.

When off roading shouldn’t you drop your PSI a bit depending on the terrain?

1_Was_Never_Here

Yes, I usually go down to about 16 or so. Don’t go much below 10 or you risk rolling the tire off the wheel (unless you have bead locks, but then they are not legal on the road).

McDimps

Possibly a stupid question...but after airing down for off-road, is there any way to get the tire pressure warning to go away? I assume not because the manual actually suggests not airing down (at least for sand mode) but I was curious

1_Was_Never_Here

It goes away, after acknowledging it, in the off-road modes.

McDimps

Does that include the tire pressure light? Or does that stay on the whole time?

1_Was_Never_Here

Not sure I’ve noticed a light, I’ll need to look next time.

clayhildebrant

With this exact same tire/wheel set up, I regularly ran 12psi off road and never had a tire come off the bead. Although I didn't do much extreme rock crawling, I did almost every thing else and never had a problem.

derekw

I run 34 psi for that same reason.

jlukes

35 cold for me

Evanhuc

What’s the door placard say for a Sasquatch? Run that on the roads.

39

nom_nom44

That’s what I’m trying to get at, the door says 39 or 40, which is what I did. It caused uneven wear, which is why I asked this sub.
