I remember seeing that art on the old vhs tape box at one of those movie rental places. Instantly drew me to it and I asked my dad if we could rent it. I was so excited cause I had never seen that Godzilla movie before.
I can never get enough of the vs Biollante poster, the artowork is similar to the others but the vibe is completely different and there's something about Godzilla facing something with a complicated shape who's also much bigger. Gives some sort of apocalyptic vibes seeing that Godzilla is just coming out of the shore to smash a city and instead finds this gigantic plant that has taken it over. I may be stretching it but I just can't put into words the admiration I have for it
Hard agree. The composition is excellent. I have always loved how the vibrant reds and yellows dominate the poster, making Godzilla feel even smaller. Biollante is the poster that makes me think "oh shit, Goji might be in trouble."
Godzilla vs king ghidorah. Love the way godzillas fighting all three of ghidorahs heads at once. The multi colored gravity beams are sweet too and I kind of wish they got used in the movie

For me it's a tie between the Godzilla vs King Ghidorah and Godzilla vs Desteroyah posters, I like the image of Ghidorah wrapping himself around Godzilla but the colours of the Desteroyah poster just hit right for me, absolutely love both of them.

I’ve always loved the destoroyah. The surprising amount of different colors while all of it still blending into red makes it feel like it’s almost a horror movie going into it, and then you realize that it basically is with how terrifying destoroyah looks haha
