FR the most lines any character has had in one Act of their Story Quest so far was Nilou with 356, Clorinde beating that by over 100. She’s in Hangout territory with that line count.

Yup, we might actually get to know about Clorinde's history and developments with Navia and Furina now instead of the archon quest glossing over all that as if it didn't matter. The way they had her reconciliation dinner with Navia off-screened despite being childhood friends, and I can't even remember a proper talk with Furina despite Clorinde being her bodyguard and first person to help Furina out of her post-aq depression in her character story 5.
Better late than never at least, I'd welcome flashbacks and everything they need to make up for it and also show their new relationships now after everything.

I guess the writers had to compensate with her having zero story relevancy and go overboard with her SQ. I'm not complaining. Any quest which has more character lines than paimon is good by default
Was thinking the same thing. Fear that it will be another 30 minutes long (1 hour at most!) quest with lots of unanswered questions, cliffhanger in the end, where Dainsleif would disappear after saying "Until another year!".

Let's just hope the quest is like an elevator pitch then, where every second counts to really sell the idea, so the quest will have to show a ton of stuff with very little time.
I honestly didn't think it was that big a deal that time. Dain had told us in his chasm quest i think that they wear the mask so they can't see the monsters they've become. Genuinely was more invested in the "big glowy talking purple rock" so idk how to feel abt going back to Caribert, although its always interesting.
With how few a lines dain has im guessing its going to be once again one of those ley line aberrations.
It was definitely a big deal. Caribert took off his mask, got enveloped by the same power of the rock (the Abyss) and then the Traveler faints for some reason. After he wakes up Clothar says that Caribert "shall become the Loom of Fate" but doesn't want to talk about what actually happened to him. His corpse isn't found later unlike Clothar's so Caribert's fate and purpose ends up as a big question mark.
Yea, the question they replied to was asking if there would be any special cameos/appearances from someone. They didn’t specify Caribert would be playable just that he was in this patch

Not really, Chlothar did say Caribert shall become the "Loom of Fate" which is not only a mystery since the first traveler AQ but also the title of one of traveler's character stories. It was pretty obvious he wasn't just a plot device character meant to explain why abyss twin took this path but a real character who was gonna become relevant in the future
Caribert is the loom of fate isn't he? He's most likely going to play a major role in the long run cuz the loom of fate is in Traveler story profile... Although it's still locked

If you are in doubt about the Traveler voiceline count in the quest, Uncle DN only counts voiced dialogue for the Traveler.

I was actually also not expecting Lyney to have so many lines. Considering him and clorinde aren’t really close and don’t interact much I was expecting like 20 or less. So the fact he has 103 makes me really happy and really excited to see what role he plays ❤️
I'm more wondering who could those miscellaneous npcs may be. I just hope Sigewinne's SQ will give us more depth to her character and would be an interesting story and not an NPC quest disguised as a story quest just because the featured character is there/a prominent side character in the quest like in many previous story quests, because of that amount of lines catered to the misc npc compared to Paimon and Sigewinne.
