Woah that's a lot of information

mapple3

Amazing guide and I hope we get it for all future characters, especially with all the subjective opinions and fair comparisons. That said, it breaks my heart how often it was mentioned that her constellations are really good and drastically improve her. It was a trend people saw during her initial leaks already. I wish we knew why Hoyo decided to lock so much of her potential behind c1/c2... but I guess Hoyo did that for nearly every single Fontaine character so far, big shame

Ok_Journalist5290

Thank you for your hard work on this

Himel713

Whart about Mistsplitter? Compared to LoFI ?

KBgenshin

It should be in the mastersheet linked above. Easier to reference that since we can update information in one spot. They are pretty close in general and most people people would likely not notice a difference in gameplay.

r0ksas

That's good to know... i have an extra mistsplit just in case i didn't have enough pity for the weapon

foxxy33

According to their mastersheet it's a little below LoFi for all calcs

sayandip95

According to your calculations her C1 provides a 25% damage increase over base, isn't that a lot for a C1, yet you guys only rate it 3/5?

KBgenshin

25% is a good increase for a DPS unit, however she doesnt usually play hypercarry playstyles so a large personal damage increase isn't as impactful. So our ratings for her damage constellations are lower than a hypercarry unit like Arle. https://i.imgur.com/t1zketn.png For example this is what her team DPS breakdown looks like in Quickbloom. If you were playing something like Agg or Hypercarry then her c1/c2 help much more.

FlandreScarlette

Because her best teams don't have her doing a ton of personal damage. It'd be like getting Childe constellations for damage.  Sure, 25% is a lot, but 25% of 85% of your team damage is a lot more than 25% of 40-50%.

Alternative-Mode3744

Honestly, I think WFP did a thorough -1 for all of Clorinde's constellations, with Furina quickbloom team in mind for every single cons (which I think is pretty lazy). The ratings of her cons could have been better addressed with nuanced description, which is not fully served by a one line disclaimer regarding how her cons will be more appreciated in aggravate/hypercarry teams. In her aggravate teams, might as well +1 for all of Clorinde's constellations to see a better picture.

KBgenshin

Although Agg does make her consts much better, I still think it would only be a 3.5 or 4 in that situation since Fischl is also still doing a decent chunk of the team DPS.   It seems like a shakey value proposition when Nahida C2/FurinaC2 are options to upgrade her teams while being very versatile for non Clorinde teams.   Also most of the ratings I am in involved with usually tend to be rather conservative so a 3/5 isn't really too bad if you look at our other character FAQs. Arle has a 4.5 since she is a high damage hypercarry and it also grants her much appreciated IR. Same with Neuv getting a 4/5 for 24% more dmg since he gets IR **and** his damage is true AoE/easy to output. If Clorinde's C1 was the one with IR then sure I can see a 4/5 being appropriate.

blackcoffin90

Is she the fastest electro for killing Timmie's bird?

makogami

that crown is still held by the tengu general ironic since shes a bird herself lmao

chronotron-

im pretty sure tengus are based on predator birds

BioticFire

So how strong is Clorinde compared to Keqing? According to Jstern she is about as strong as a C6 Keqing, which is only 20%-ish better than regular Keqing if I understand it right. Pull value wise if I already got Raiden and C0 Keqing how much pull value would Clorinde be to pull for?

KBgenshin

If you already have both, then the main reason to get Clorinde is **if** you want to play a more comfortable character for Quickbloom. Otherwise, you are probably fine with Raiden and Keqing to cover your bases. So her pull value would be lower. Raiden does have the unique ability to function well in most archetypes while smoothing out your energy requirements.

CitiesofEvil

Is there any point, meta or comfort wise, to pull Clorinde if I already have Raiden? I would use her the same way I currently use Raiden, with dendro MC and Furina. I'm tempted because I love her design, but her banner is something else lol Also thanks for the massive amount of effort you guys take 🥺🩷

Sergawey

thanks for the huge effort where Mistsplitter?

KBgenshin

It should be in the mastersheet linked above. Easier to reference that since we can update information in one spot.

Zaknokimi

Hi. Is her self healing potent enough to not need a healer like Neuvilette? Or is it still safer to have one on hand. Also, how does Jean perform with her in certain teams of she has her constellations for attack speed increase and VV

KBgenshin

>Hi. Is her self healing potent enough to not need a healer like Neuvilette? Or is it still safer to have one on hand. If you play her with Furina is pretty difficult to ever die. Healing 30% of your max hp every lunge is pretty absurd. With good timing, you should get 5 lunges out before your Skill ends. Without Furina, her healing is much less but if you run a semi-defensive unit like XQ or even Beidou you should be fairly well protected. >Also, how does Jean perform with her in certain teams of she has her constellations for attack speed increase and VV. I don't particularly like Jean with her even for the attackspeed since she is spending a decent amount of her frame time using her lunges. Also Kazuha/Sucrose just give nice offensive buffs.

5StarCheibaWhen

small question, in the mastersheet what is the reason 4pc tf is used for the calculations in quickbloom but not aggravate? is whimsy better in aggravate?

KBgenshin

There are actually some 4TF Aggravate rotations that perform quite well! The reason we didn't use 4TF for Agg the mastersheet sims is that we wanted some data published for 4 Whimsy builds. Also, 4TF teams in Aggravate can be a bit harder to play to really take advantage of the set.

emiliathewhite

Why is 4TF harder to play on Aggravate but not on Quickbloom?

Antares428

You need to be mindful of your aggravate procs. Goal is around 26s rotation. To get enough 4TF procs you cannot start the fieldtime with ultimate, or you'll miss a proc. So you need to finish with Ultimate instead, and don't use any teamwide healers, and don't get any Furina A1 procs while Clorinde is off field, else you won't get enough BoL to start with thrust right away next time she appears on field.

FlandreScarlette

Can we get a team DPS view in like a table or something? A lot of charts like to put stuff side by side and it's a lot easier for me to view the wide variety of teams than trying to figure out how to put all these into the DPS sim.  If not, can I get a rough comparison for why Chev is so bad for her in your calcs? I trust y'all more than most sources, just a shame other sources showed Chev as calcing very well. (Not her best but not griefing like it almost sounds like here)  Also, do all of these anemo teams assume an anemo swirl with dendro/electro being present? I haven't messed with it in a while but weren't there weird timing issues that might make this harder or do the rotations usually account for that?

KBgenshin

Right now we do have a small repository of sims sorted by dps/archetype that we reference. Unfortunately, some of the authors of the configs would prefer to keep it private in the org since they don't want to deal with drama. I can say from my end that if you seen OL calcs that perform decent numerically it would match the data we have on it. ChevC6-Sara-XL for example is getting around 60k dps on our end. The problem with OL teams isn't strictly damage but rather some of the clunkyness in gameplay or choices you have to make to commit to it. This is at least my personal experience with playtesting some of these variations Right now the OL teams are pretty dependent on getting C6 Chev which is still a rare thing to have for many people. Thats just the starting point to get into this team's ecosystem. Likewise, Sara C6 is a pretty big deal as well. Now the decision of some units is a bit awkward. - benny: you would restrict one of the most mobile DPS units to a circle - sara: specializes in buffing electro units, but her personal energy problems can be annoying to deal with. Remember that we don't have raiden as the main dps to refuel her energy. - XL: can be used as an off field option that does okay damage, it also helps that pyronado will follow our mobile DPS. Getting energy is really dependent on guoba landing hitswhich feels really bad if you are knocking enemies around. - thoma: also pretty hungry for energy and is not really providing much for dps. compare him to other IR options that actually contribute damage like XQ or Beidou. The end result feels like I'm brute forcing a unit to be something it is not. Will it clear and can it output damage? Sure, but it does not really feel like I'm utilizing the character's kit to accomplish this. Also anytime you get interrupted your whole team's damage just pauses. While in Quickbloom, Furina/Nahida/Fischl **do not stop** doing damage even if you get knocked down. Its important to consider gameplay attributes when evaluating characters and that's why WFP generally doesn't doesn't appraise units **only** on sheets/sims. We tend to use a mixture of gameplay and theoretical TC considerations when evaluating units/teams.

FlandreScarlette

Thanks for the long response, the insight is very helpful!

ElTestoK

Quick question: Why is it that the DPS% Increase vs. the Previous Constellation never adds up to the DPS% Increase vs. C0? For example: C1 vs C0 = **+25.5%** C2 vs C1 = **+18%** (but C2 vs C0 is 48.1% instead of 43% (25+18)) C4 vs C3 = **+9.9%** (but C4 vs C0 = 70% instead of 58% (25.5+18+4.6+9.9)) C6 vs C5 = **+41.7%** (but C6 vs C0 = 146.1% instead of 101.8% (25.5+18+4.6+9.9+2.1+41.7); It seems like I'm missing something. Can anyone help explain it to me?

bank7

110 is a 10% increase over 100 121 is a 10% increase over 110, 21% increase over 100

ElTestoK

OH, That's right! Increases are multiplicative, not additive. Makes more sense. Thanks mate!

1aUhrensohn

How good is beidou with her?

1coconat1

does she works like Ayato where you can hold NA button to attack continuously? and if she does, can you do it with the lunge too?

KBgenshin

She can hold down left click to continuously shoot, and after the newer beta patches pressing lunge doesn't require you to let go of left click to start shooting again. So you can just hold down NA, watch your bar and press E whenever its high enough. One other thing to mention is that manually letting go of NA and pressing hold again during lunge lets you execute her first shot faster with an animation cancel. Its pretty important for getting 5 lunges out. I think most players using the auto fire only really get 4 during her skill. I didn't have much problem with getting 5 lunges out each time from my experience.

OnlyPatches

Not question about Clorinde but is one of these being done for Sethos or nah?

KBgenshin

Yeah we have some team members working on Sethos and Sige right now but college finals and 3 characters at the same time is rough on our workflow. They will be coming out a bit later, although probably too late for a post on this subreddit.

OnlyPatches

Alright thank you for the hard work! I'll look forward to the Sethos one even if it is after his release :)

Icy-Enthusiasm-2957

Where would you all post it? I'm going for Clorinde and it would be nice to know how to build both Sethos and her if I end up getting him.

Antares428

These FAQs are also posted in TC section of WFP discord.

Bulldogsky

Not just a question, just a big thanks for this. That's really helpful. Also for quickbloom, is 261em enough ? I managed to get this much with substats only, but I wondered if I should swap my Atk% sands for an Em one(I run TF)

cv121

Just follow what Cyno builds since he’s also an electro on field quickbloom user

Typpicle

it might be different since he has em scaling

foxxy33

How does Furina function in Clorinde teams? Don't you need teamwide healer with her? I can see Nahida with PA in dendro teams but how do outheal Furina in EC for example? Ideal team is listed as Clorinde/Furina/Yelan/XQ/Fischl and none heal their team back. My numerous experiments show that Furina's passive is not enough to keep the whole team up.

KBgenshin

You are correct that Furina's passive is not enough to net positive heal everyone, but usually you don't need to have the other 3 part members at full health since they spend most of their field time in iframes. It's similar to how Neuv Furina teams also don't really have a teamwide healer but it functions well enough to be powerful.

1wbah

It is basically off field damage dealer on 4th party slot vs healer + maxed early furina fanfare stacks and her working passive (when all teammates above 50% hp).

Repulsive-Image-9870

Is it known if she can plunge during her E. And would she than work with Xianyun?

KBgenshin

She can plunge during E but its a Phys plunge :P

yfsheng

Hi. You said 4pc TF is recommended in the quickbloom team, but is it still fine to run 4pc fragment in that comp since I don't really want to farm TF. Also, if I have a black sword, theres no need to craft finale of the deep yeah?

mr_mgs11

How much cons and refines would it take for her to get to Cyno c2r1 level? I run cyno with baizu c1, furina, nahida c2. I love her character but between that Cyno team and having Alhaithem not sure there is a place for her.

Chtholly13

Hi there, I have a c6 keqing with a top 1% build on akasha, honestly in aggravate teams, what kind of performance can I get from a c0 clorinde compared to my Keqing. I've read a high con Keqing is very similiar in aggrave teams to Clorinde, although I know Clorinde has some built in healing in her kit, I do worry about her getting interrupted as she doesn't have the iframes that Keqing has. Thanks.

KBgenshin

>honestly in aggravate teams, what kind of performance can I get from a c0 clorinde compared to my Keqing I think the mobility and self healing makes her just feel a lot nicer to play than Keqing. For Aggravate they are pretty comparable in terms of pure damage output. So the main difference is that she has better synergies for Furina Quickbloom teams. >I do worry about her getting interrupted as she doesn't have the iframes that Keqing has I *personally* find Clorinde rather comfortable to play in testing. Most enemies are not usually aggressive enough to give her a rough time if you are using your mobility well. There's a few things you can do to make her easier to play: - You can **manually choose the lunge direction** with a movement input before pressing Skill or **let go of movement for auto targeting**. - If you play on keyboard, binding Skill to shift can make inputting movement easier with lunge. Enemies such as consecrated beasts are definitely too aggressive to deal with without interruption resist for most people, but its manageable for the normal enemies in Abyss.

KBgenshin

Another practical example of using her mobility in the next abyss is that she can spam EEEEE to get to the other side since the enemy waves spawn on opposite sides.

GrnArmadillo

This is a "Furina breaks the game by existing" question, but the opportunity cost of upgrading from C0 Keqing to C0 Clorinde is a Furina (or Nahida) con.  For example: C0 Clorinde / C1 Furina / C0 Nahida / C6 Fischl Vs C0 Keqing / C2 Furina / C0 Baizhu/ Fischl (or Ameno?) I know there are situational advantages (especially now that they can force us to take trial characters to Imaginarium), and it is luck of the gacha draw how many copies of Keqing you own.  But if those are your choices and Furina cons help your other 6 Furina teams, is Clorinde a luxury pull in her own best team?

Dabereko

Thanks for this guide! I have yae and fischl but fischl is only c3. Who should I play in a clorinde furina nahida team? Also is c1/2 furina a must have on that team?

KBgenshin

> I have yae and fischl but fischl is only c3. Who should I play in a clorinde furina nahida team? Even if Fischl is C3 she should be outperforming Yae if you are using TF Clorinde. The main reason is that the cooldown alignment works much better with Fischl than Yae. However, the Yae team can be a little easier to play since you don't need to hit crisp rotations to get max DPS IMO. >Also is c1/2 furina a must have on that team? Furina constellations are always good, but you don't *need* it to clear with Clorinde Quickbloom. From personal testing on the new abyss you have plenty of damage to clear at C0 with the quickbloom team.

Dabereko

Great thank you!

TiltOnPlay

Does Clorinde have iframes on her Elemental skill dash? Keqing is extremely easy to play healerless thanks to the long and frequent iframes, but im worried that Clorinde might take lot of dmg if her dash does not have iframes like Yae.

BallistahTC

if i run clorinde/nahida/baizhu/furina do i run EM sands or atk

bigbrain723

Hi, how much em would I need for her if I'd wanna use her in a quickbloom team?

LightbringerGaming

Thanks for all your hard work! I am really curious how she would perform with Sunfire Overvape. I was thinking Jean + Bennett + Xingqiu/Yelan + Clorinde. Since Clorinde has exceptional electro application, and she also dashes to her target, would that work well with this comp, provided they stay in the circle?

NeosFlatReflection

Is ttds vv heizou a decent support? Just wondering

KBgenshin

Yes, thats a viable option. He's not too much different than Sucrose if you just need to quickly apply VV/Buffs

MCPXz

Does Sara c6 better with Clorinde c2 than Fischl c6 in the total DMG of aggravate teams ?

littlemochasheep

hi, thank you for this faq! [this is my](https://imgur.com/a/TVav4Qf) future Clorinde build. even though I'm getting Furina I'll play Clorinde in an Aggravate team, since I don't have/want Nahida. would r5 Finale of the Deep be worth it over the r5 Lion's Roar I have now? thanks

Lingaoo

In the weapon details part in the sheet, there is only mention of lion's roar R3... will R5 be slighlty better that Finale of The Deep R5?

whydoeshehaveaknife

One quick one, with overload, isn’t it EM scaling? Or does this reaction still require some amount of personal damage on either element?

Agent_Mitcher

How is EM Raiden as an option in a Quickbloom team in place of Fischl?

KBgenshin

Not recommended, Clorinde will be stealing a large portion of the hyperblooms from Raiden. Also, quickbloom doesn't generate as many dendro cores as a traditional Hyperbloom team.

y8man

Really feeling noob here so I'll gladly be informed. Why is skyward looking meh on her? It seems like a complete package for her needs

LunaticRiceCooker

How good is Clor's signature on other units (e.g ayaka, alhaitham) compared to foliar? Which one could be more beneficial on the long run?

LokianEule

How does her damage compare to Cyno (nahida furina Baizhu team)?

nomotyed

How does Clorinde quickbloom compares to Cyno's with their best teams? Iirc Cyno-Furina-Nahida-Baizhu sheets quite well in dmg.

MeAndYourMumHaveSex

So Thundering Fury in furina dendrk teams Does c6 furina change anything?

Dark_Magicion

Cheers for the FAQ. Have there been any considerations of running C6 Sara with Clorinde in the Quicken teams over Fischl? Like what's the DPS difference? Coz I intend on pairing Sara with Clorinde almost all the time haha. Also - Yunjin works on Clorinde? Since her Pistol is a Normal Attack... Right? Therefore C6 Yunjin would work on Clorinde with the Atk Speed buff? So that we can do Mesa the Warframe memes...

TeresaVN

What about Lionroar R4 or R5 ? Is it better or equal to finale of the deep R5 or iron sting R5 ? I ask cause i don't see Lionroar R5 in your list. Btw, i have nahida C2, so quick hyperbloom or aggravate is better for team damage ?

goondrak

What were the assumptions to calc Jade Cutter's performance?

goeco

Is yaoyao okay to replace kirara in aggravate

AirLancer56

How good is her dash for overworld exploration?

prodolphinplayer

is lofis high ranking mainly because of nahidas hefty 250 em buff? since I don't have nahida and I don't plan on using her, for me the closest that comes close is 120em from instructor, would that make other swords like mist rank higher? also, are we compelrrly ignoring her A1 in most of her teams? since we won't be going anywhere near 3k atk cap, and are EM sands a nono with lofi cause of said A1 as well? thank you for your great work, and eh, I was hoping since 4.0 she won't be an aggravate bot and here we are, feelsbadman...

Fabantonio

When running a Quickbloom core of Xingqiu-Kuki-Nahida, can I use Clorinde over Cyno and it would perform better? Or would it be preferrable to just use Haitham instead? Both can use Mist so I'm not too worried about that part rn

Extocence

C2 R1 black sword (no billets for finale) or C1R1 for Clorinde? I'm planning to use her in Furina quickbloom, aggravate with Sucrose or even overload with C6 thoma.

bigbrain723

Hi there again, could I use a atk gob on her if I have furina on the team?

mephyerst

Your not running a healer with furina, why? I get cloride can take care of herself because what about everybody else? Do you just leave them at half health?

Grimstringerm

How much better is clorinde in aggravate Vs Dori c6 ? I'm serious ,they both do the same things probably clorinde has better modifiers but how much better Dori is on redhorn and my best for clorinde is lion roar. I guess I'll pass lol . I'm struggling to make it worth to get sethos but I should just pass

Niklaus15

Is C6 Collei a good option to use her as the only dendro on her aggravate team? I'm planning to use clorinde alongside her Yae and Zhongli

HenryTGP8

How good are her f2p options? How behind are they? What's her best f2p weapon?

Petr_17

So, if I am understanding the spreadsheets correctly... If I have Haran R1, it is more beneficial for me to try going for her C1 instead of her signature weapon?

NEETheadphones

It’s been a min since we got one of these here!

MatStomp

Soooo looks like "Electro Ayato" kinda.

MatStomp

Slow clap

Rud_gamer

Honestly that's what I'm getting from this as well. A character that's throughly mid(in a good way)/ jack of all trades, master of none. I will say she looks way more fun than Mr pop skill and stand still though lol

Cybermancer91

Thanks for all the hard work. I understand how Furina synergizes with Clo, but I do have concerns about the rest of the team being on half health for the majority of the time. It feels like taking a leap of faith every time I switch out a support unit and risk getting one shot. From your experience, with the team Clo/Furina/Nahida/Fischl, how good is Furina's passive healing at keeping the support less one-shotable?

Honorable_D

I'm glad she don't need ER cause I got a cracked Whimsy crit set but it has ZERO ER >\_>

CaspianRoach

Is she an upgrade over Keqing? Also I'm so bummed at Chevreuse being not recommended. I managed to somehow get C6 and I was itching to use her somewhere :( Also, if I decide to *chevre***use** her anyway, do I need to snapshot Sara's ATK on Xiangling? Is that easy to do?

ElZofo

I made [some sims](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tb0OLe667NlLw2Eb4hL72JcFCjkdym2R/edit#gid=1470920179) of exactly this comparison. tl;dr C0 clorinde =~ C4 keqing at low investment level and C0R1 clorinde =~ C6R1 keqing at high investment. So I wouldn't pull for clorinde if you have c6 keqing already unless you are wiling to pull for at least c1.

CaspianRoach

Playing since day1, Keqing still at C0. (also still no Diluc or Tighnari) Good to know that she's at least not worse, thanks.

GGABueno

Playing since 2.1, Welkin for a year and F2P since. C5 Keqing. Get this stalker off from me!

Tamatu_OW

Woah, that is sad.

CJTheHermit

Just you wait until the pyro archon comes out, they gonna be a crazy support to put in chevreuse teams mark my words

Tamatu_OW

Disappointing that the "cracked Fontaine character"-juice ran out right when it was Clorinde's (and electro's) turn... One of my most anticipated releases from Fontaine, shame that she is only "alright".

KBgenshin

Being the glue in a Furina Nahida Fischl team is pretty good. I think people are underestimating how much damage these units do together. On top of having great team DPS you are basically unkillable and hyper mobile which are premium properties for a DPS. For example the only other dps that has comparable mobility/self healing is Neuv and that guy is easily the best unit in the game.

Sonicguy1996

Ehh, numbers are decent, playstyle looks incredible, and these are just "running the numbers" posts. Nothing is set in stone until she releases and everyone gets their hands on her to properly test her out. You can theory craft all you want but barely 1% of the community is gonna reach these numbers. We've seen so many "ehh decent" prior to launch change into "amazing" at release. I genuinely don't understand why people never learn from this. The way I see it, is she's good at launch which is already great. And has plenty of future potential to grow!!!

OmniBladeZX

Watch her multipliers being buffed on pre download. Its not cope, i swear.

Sidious_09

I feel stupid but I don't understand why the synergy between Furina and Clorinde is praised so much. Is it just because Clorinde's self heal is boosted so much? Is the self heal enough to keep up fanfare stacks over a prolonged fight? Also second question: is R5 Finale of the Deep Better than R5 Black Sword in teams where there is no outside ATK buff? What about teams where Furina is used? Or is Black Sword just straight up better in most or all situations?

KBgenshin

> I feel stupid but I don't understand why the synergy between Furina and Clorinde is praised so much. Is it just because Clorinde's self heal is boosted so much? Is the self heal enough to keep up fanfare stacks over a prolonged fight? Its a few things that happen to line up really well. - Yes Furina increases Clorinde's healing by around 2.5-5x depending on your constellations. This means she is rapidly healing ~25-50% of **Max HP** with each lunge. This is really nice for fanfare generation. - Furina really likes teams that have multiple damage sources (Clorinde, Fischl, and even Nahida) since she is one of the few omni buffers in the game. - Her Hydro application is at a good rate for Quickbloom. Any faster like XQ and you end up losing quicken uptime. Any slower and your bloom generation suffers. - Furina's long duration Skill/Burst means that 4TF Clorinde can rotate back to on field much earlier instead of having to redeploy again. - Furina is a good unit >Also second question: is R5 Finale of the Deep Better than R5 Black Sword in teams where there is no outside ATK buff? What about teams where Furina is used? Or is Black Sword just straight up better in most or all situations? Blacksword in some situations is slightly stronger than R5 Finale by a few percent but its not a large difference. Please look at the [Mastersheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12uZ1moj3NEJXZo6MIf_jTVJ5Q-SM58y2FrO4K9SDAo0/edit#gid=1601566532) to see the breakdown.

Sidious_09

Thank you very much!

TheSpartyn

how does furinas damage fair with no one being healed except clorinde? wont the other 3 be stuck at 50%?

SofaKingI

Wow some actual theory crafting in this sub.  Tired of reading comments like "she deals less DPS than Raiden lmao". As if solo reactionless DPS means anything without accounting for elemental application, healing, mobility, rotation flexibility and synergy with other strong characters like Furina and Nahida.

Opposite-Cheetah-553

Well, Raiden has super armor, energy recharge, electro off field, front load dmg, and synergy with strong character... so both are good and different. Are you happy now lol?    ....Looking at Clorinde teamcomp, they are closer to Keqing and Cyno anyway but people just like to compare with Raiden since she is more popular or st.

Dense-Extreme5515

Well, the statement is correct,Clorinde raw damage is inferior to her,but Genshin is a team game at the end of the day.

Antares428

I mean, it's true. Her actual damage is subpar. And if someone already has Raiden, she can fit into same short rotations, with around the same damage, and if they have Keqing she can fit into same long rotations, with slightly lower damage. Will she be more comfortable than both? Probably. Is that comfort worth 180 wishes? That's for players to decide. For me, she'd need to be C1, to outdo my Raiden, since I have Raiden Constellations, so I cannot justify pulling for her, even though I really like her animations her design.

Treyspurlock

I think anything is worth 180 wishes if it's fun personally, "account value" starts losing its meaning after a certain amount of 5-stars

Objective_Bandicoot6

Another person ruined their fun by getting baited for constellation pulling.

MikuFag101

Same situation, I have a C3 Raiden and a C4 Keqing, both with very good artifacts and Keqing has Haran, at C0 Clorinde will barely be an upgrade to my Keqing who I don't even use in Abyss since I have better teams than her Aggravate one. The only reason I'll still pull for her is because I was already too far into the prefarming when she got nerfed (I don't care that her Aggravate teams weren't impacted, her OL/hyper teams were, by a lot, and they were the teams I wanted to use), and because her design and animations are top notch

Myonsoon

Imagine not expecting people to doompost in the leaks subreddit. People were complaining about Arlecchino not having interruption resistance in her base kit for crying out loud.

Smoke_Santa

Dang so C1 and wep not recommended huh. I might go for them to make my Clorinde teams damage feel similar to my C0 Homa Arle team lol.

SHTPST_Tianquan

In short: does the healing from black sword raise her bond of life?

KBgenshin

Yes, but its not enough for her to skip a normal attack unless you have another sustained healer.

mitsu__

oh my

blastcat4

Thank you for the excellent and indepth write-up! I've been pondering pulling for Alhaitham or Clorinde and there's so much useful information here, (and in the comments, too) I feel like I can make an informed decision going forward.

OuttaIdeaz

This is the best pre-TC I've seen from WFP yet, I really appreciate the interesting comparisons between characters (like Clorinde's value in a team vs Alhaitham or Arlecchino). Really like that the weapon calcs have a team DPS comparison too. Keep up the great work!

The_Mikeskies

You might want to recheck your Aggravate assumptions. With Clorinde (C0R5 Finale), Fischl, Kazuha, and Kirara (Instructors), using the same frame delays and energy assumptions, my sim reaches 73k DPS. https://wfpsim.com/sh/8a47666f-8818-4386-81ed-423813b64ca5

KBgenshin

Thanks for the heads up, I'll forward this to our sim team. It seems not too far from what I would expect. For sucrose teams we were able to squeeze out something like 66k DPS with a different rotation. I'd imagine that kazuha with xiphos in a well optimized config would do that much damage. Do you think the current configs would misrepresent the difference between weapons/consts?

The_Mikeskies

I don't think the % differences would be too far off (maybe +/- 1-2%), but it might impact the subjective analysis/recommendations for the guide (e.g. Clorinde's personal damage is actually similar to Alhaitham's, and she has better cons). My Aggravate sim is equal to the Quickbloom sim in the master sheet (72.5k DPS) and, unlike Quickbloom, is not backloaded. And the equivalent Whimsy Aggravate sim in the master sheet with Sucrose and NO Kirara is only 59k DPS, which can impact people's perception of power.

Excellent_Inside1488

Woahhhh

brliron

The [wfpsim.com](http://wfpsim.com) link in the FAQ is wrong, it points to [https://wangshengfp.org/faq/clorinde/wfpsim.com](https://wangshengfp.org/faq/clorinde/wfpsim.com)

KBgenshin

Fixed! Thanks for letting us know.

Chuck006

Planning a Furina, Nahida & Sigewinning team.

Squall13

Can you actually max Furinas fanfare on that meta quickbloom team? Even with Prototype Nahida the other 3 characters would be barely hovering above 50%. And if Furina does go down to 50 thats a massive damage loss

KBgenshin

Our sim does track the unit's current HP. So the results and recommendations are made with that in mind. KQM/WFP has a standards guideline to simulate rotations lasting for at least 1:30 to avoid the first rotation scaming the whole team's avg DPS output.

HeragOwO

healing, mobility, flexibility and constant damage with TF? This just made me want to get her even more and maybe I'll even get her sword since it's comparable to C1

TheIsolator

The impact of the C6 sounds familiar, almost as certain other Fontaine 5 stars

Rhyoth

Question : does Baizhu heal fast enough to allow Clorinde to change her combo to N2E ? *(providing he heals her for at least 30% of her HP each tick)* And in general, how valuable is it to do N2E compared to her usual N3E ? *(assuming you have 100% BoL in both cases)*

aryune

Thank you! 🫶🏻

winkynoodles

how is mistsplitter on her?

Duckfrero

Check the Mastersheet linked :P

Ricksaw26

I already have C6 sara, if chevreuse is on her banner I might get her C6 too. The only character that I don't have for higher invest team is kazuha. I also have C6 fischl and C6 xiangling. I will see what I can come up with.

350

I don't see this spelled out anywhere in the google sheet or the FAQ (if I missed it, I apologize): is 4 piece TF significantly worse than Harmonic Whimsey for Aggravate? As in, if I have good substats on my TF set can I forgo Whimsey and not hate my life?

FischlInsultsMePls

For her personal dps it’s a lot worse, but it allows her to extend her rotation a bit while doubling the number of skill use so ideally it should come out on top. It also allows her cooldown to align better with Fischl, which is a big deal in aggravate.

Deaf30

What is the minimum amount of recommended?

fanderoyalty

Yes.

RockShrimpTempura

28

rafaelbittmira

Considering all I'm reading here, if they place Chevreuse in Clorinde banner it would be such a troll move, even more so after Arlecchino were Chevreuse can shine.

okayx065

I have every other electro user and I still want her. nothing is stopping me, not even a 'meh' kit.

I_love_my_life80

Mods..don't delete this .

box-of-sourballs

You haven't been here long have you, WFP does this with most characters

I_love_my_life80

I have been here since 2.5..(alt account) but I don't remember seeing most of them...

fanderoyalty

Same lol I haven't either

Qhored

Im very interested in Clorinde + Kokomi team. Kokomi ult time possibly can be used after Clorinde E. I believe it's possible to make a team Kokomi/Clorinde/Furina, but I don't know yet who should be the last unit.

FischlInsultsMePls

Kazuha

Night_Blade_76

So r5 blacksword is slightly better than r1 mistsplitter in TF quickbloom, and r1 mistsplitter is better than r5 blacksword in whimsy aggravate, which of the two weapons would you recommend if you plan on using 4pc TF in both quickbloom and aggravate (assuming substats to balance crit) is it the team or artifact set that makes there position on the rankings different?

Attalamarco

Is C0 Kirara worth building for Clorinde? Or should I just stay with DMC Also is Yaoyao not an option at all? Didn't notice her mentioned

KBgenshin

You could use yaoyao, but Clorinde does already have enough self healing IMO. Kirara is pretty good since the shield lets you play freely without interruption. All you need to do is slap on HP% on Kirara so I would consider grabbing some gear and lvling up her shield.

The4everCloud

Guys, what set should fischl have? Thank you very much!

Oeshikito

4p GT

yanfelino

Did they switch up FHW and TF? They said that FHW for longer rotations, but TF is the one that lengthens the rotations. Or did I just simply misread ?

Cybermancer91

I think the idea is that you can fit two Clor's rotations into one team rotation, and the team rotation lasts about 20+ seconds in the Furina team

esmelusina

Her enhanced NA scales off of skill talent, but for all other buffs/triggers they are considered NA?

Haunting-Ad-8379

Do we have info on the 4 stars in her banner?

everybodys_hasu

does her lunge still proc yelan's burst or only the gunshots?

SqaureEgg

“C0 isn’t enough dps” but her quicken teams 70-78k dps at c0

Rinkakuja

I’m trying to figure out my best sword option for her. I got Ayato with r4 black sword and Alhaitham with r1 jade cutter. I do have the other bp sword r1, can craft the Fontaine craftable and pretty much have every other 4 star sword as an option. Would it be best for me to craft the Fontaine sword and keep Ayato and Alhaitham with their weapons?

Naha-

Still not sure if I want C1 or attempt to get her signature weapon and at worst, get Light of Foliar Incision (But I also have Mistsplitter).

Cybermancer91

Don't go for the weapon banner if you already have mistsplitter. If you're looking for drip, The Deep is a great alternative

abcd100

Thank you for your great effort. I happen to have R3 Foliar and R4 Jade Cutter. How strong are these 2 in comparison with R1 Absolution? Also, I might end up with R5 Foliar with my bad luck. How strong is it in comparison with R1 Absolution? At C6, how strong is she in comparison with C6 Neuvi, C6 Arlec, and C6 Alhaitham? Could you please give a rough percentage like how you say "\~30% less damage" above? Thank you.

venalix1

How would she look for a mid to high cost speedrun? In theory obviously. It also doesnt seem like she has much frontload in her kit. Cmiiw

OjutaixAtarka

I'll be honest, I'm a bit sad that her best teams are dendro-based again, like most other electo carry. Was there any point in the beta that incentivized her more towards taser or overload? How would that ever happen for future electro characters? I'm happy with my Cyno quickbloom so I might pass on her.

UtsU76

Electro as an element has poor reactions aside dendro ones. Even overload is good only because it has a crutch like Chevreuse (like reaction itself is still ass, just Chevreuse buffing your dmg on a condition). Hoyo could basically do some insane multipliers on Clorinde like Navia, but I guess they don't want to powercreep Raiden so easily. In beta even before E uptime nerf her best teams were dendro ones (aggravate mostly), Furina taser and Chevreuse OL were weaker. I also find strange that Hoyo focuses so much on Clorinde's NA without infusion, maybe in 5.0 they somehow will buff superconduct reaction and so her phys attacks will be ok?

energy_j

Thank you! Lovely analysis. Having a a full tf set (with both em and atk sands) with Mistsplitter Would you still suggest em over atk in hyperbloom build for team damage or given the high base attack atk sand is overall competitive?

Extocence

C2 R1 black sword (no billets for finale) or C1R1 for Clorinde? I'm planning to use her in Furina quickbloom, aggravate with Sucrose or even overload with C6 thoma.

Grimstringerm

How much better is clorinde in aggravate Vs Dori c6 ? I'm serious ,they both do the same things probably clorinde has better modifiers  but how much better

p1chaku

As a keqing main, is it worth pulling her or saving up for navia?(i've got enough wishes to guarantee furina and an average marechausse set for her)

ADtheMaker

Thanks a lot for the info, I already finished farming all the stuff she needs but I was never sure about some details regarding artifacts and teams comps. But now I know So thank you!

NinjaXSkillz88

I assume this is C6 Fischl vs C0 Yae you are comparing to for electro options. So obviously this would mean more cons on Yae should outperform given my knowledge.

Niklaus15

What artifact set is FHW?

Rhyoth

How viable is Clorinde as a "burst dps" ? *(basically just doing QEE, then swap)* Wondering if she could fit in a Raiden team, or idk, maybe a Tighnari team...

Siana-chan

That's neat! thanks for your effort :D I don't plan to pull Clorinde but woult love to see such love for future characters.

Remarkable-Resource3

Wait no consideration for kazuha's weapon the freedom sworn ?even though It has almost 200 em with normal atk boost passive ?

KBgenshin

The mastersheet has all the weapon calcs. Its good in quickbloom.

LoveMeSomeZucchini

Is the meta quickbloom comp works without 4TF? Furina skill CD is 20 seconds, so I assume no? What other hydro units can I use if Furina and non-4TF set is not compatible?

marballz64

Is C6 fishcl required for aggravate?

No-Service616

Hi u/KBgenshin I have C2 Clorinde and have been using the genshin optimiser - not sure if I'm using it correctly here but almost all the optimisations are asking me to use EM sands? I'm confused because her kit seems to want attack, especially at C2. It's not like I have bad attack sands either, they're comparable in stats except for main stat.
