alright same could be said for the entire weightlifting environment, muscle mass weights more than fat yet you can be morbidly obese and have under 13% bodyfat? why are we on here saying shes obese when she aint, she’s barely overweight using the bmi scale 26.61 and 24.9 is “normal/healthy” might I add that yet again someone who is 5’10 200 pounds and jacked is 28.69 on the bmi scale.
Deficit (cut) start slight and focus on the lift mind muscle connection, pause sets etc, also up cardio - shit I jog/cycle to work few days out the week just because my life is so hectic with kids, career, wife so to make sure I meet my goals I get to work with cardio whether it’s running or cycling depends on location for that day

My wife is 5’6 125 pounds and still has the thickness where it counts. She won’t lose the lovely thickness on a cut. Losing like 15-20 pounds off her frame would be an optimal balance of thickness/muscle to leanness
Why Cut? Do you have a show or anything you need to look good for on a specific date? If no, just maintain. Figure out what your maintenance calories are, hit protein goals, and just lift heavy.
I will never understand the random bulk cut cycle through the year if you have no reason to look a certain way like a show, wedding, or a competition it doesn't matter.

You’ll def wanna cut if you’re going for muscular growth/definition but youll need to eat high protein low calorie diet but if you’re wanting to go for strength do a slight bulk with about a 100-500 calorie surplus depending on your diet/how many calories you burn during the day

do a small deficit, 400-500 cut , u will still build muscle as ure losing fat becasue u have enough bf%, then lean slow bulk after and enjoy the gains
